Saturday's UFC Vegas 106 fight card is nearly upon us. In the main event of the UFC Fight Night, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns faces the undefeated Michael Morales. Meanwhile, in the evening's light heavyweight co-main event, Paul Craig meets Rodolfo Bellato. We look at the betting odds, line movement, prediction, picks, and prop bets for the UFC Vegas 106 main card.
UFC Vegas 106 streams on ESPN+ with the main card starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. The prelims begin at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Burns (22-8) is the No. 8 competitor in the official UFC welterweight rankings. Burns had won six straight when he battled then-UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman in February 2021. Usman won that contest by TKO in the third round. Since that setback, the 38-year-old Burns has gone 3-4. He is riding a three-fight losing skid heading into UFC Vegas 106, falling to Belal Muhammad, Jack Della Maddalena, and Sean Brady in those contests.
Burns fell from No. 6 to No. 8 following his UFC Vegas 97 decision loss to Brady in September 2024.
Morales (17-0) joined the UFC in 2021 when he won a contract via a decision victory on a Dana White's Contender Series fight card. Since then, Morales has gone 5-0 with the UFC with three knockouts and two decisions.
The 25-year-old Morales broke into the official UFC welterweight rankings in August when he earned a 'Performance of the Night' bonus for his first-round knockout win over long-time UFC competitor Neil Magny.
The main event of UFC Vegas 106 is an excellent opportunity for the 38-year-old Burns to show that he remains an elite UFC welterweight. As for Morales, Saturday's UFC Fight Night is his chance to show that he belongs among the top 10 of the 170-pound division.
When the betting odds opened for the UFC Vegas 106 main event, Morales was a significant -600 betting favorite over the +425 Burns. Today, Morales comes in at -800, while Burns is the +550 betting underdog.
With the lopsided odds, it's no surprise to see that 91 percent of wagers have come in on Burns. However, it is somewhat surprising that Morales has earned 59 percent of the handle while presenting so little betting value.
The pick is for Morales to win via decision, but the value is clearly in Burns to win via upset.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MAY 16: (L-R) Opponents Rodolfo Bellato of Brazil and Paul Craig of Scotland ... More face off during the UFC Fight Night weigh-in at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino on May 16, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)
Paul Craig has been with the UFC since 2016. He enters his UFC Vegas 106 matchup against Rodolfo Bellato on the worst run of his professional career, going 1-5 since July 2022 and losing his past three outings. Craig knows Saturday's fight could be his last under the UFC banner with a loss. As for Bellato, he is a relative newcomer to the UFC, joining the promotion via the Dana White's Contender Series in 2023. He is 1-0-1 with the promotion and coming off a UFC 312 draw with Jimmy Crute.
When the betting odds opened for this bout, Bellato was the -350 favorite over the +275 Craig. Today, Bellato is listed at -550, while Craig is the +400 underdog. Craig has 70 percent of the bets, while 65 percent of the money is on Bellato.
The betting pick is Bellato to win via knockout, but for those looking for value, Craig by submission, while extremely unlikely, is the bet.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MAY 16: (L-R) Opponents Sodiq Yusuff of Nigeria and Mairon Santos of Brazil face ... More off during the UFC Fight Night weigh-in at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino on May 16, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)
Sodiq Yusuff ends an absence of more than a year at UFC Vegas 106. He makes his lightweight debut following a 6-3 featherweight run with the UFC. Yusuff, who has back-to-back losses on his record heading into Saturday's fight card, faces Marion Santos, who is 2-0 with the UFC and the winner of Season 32 of 'The Ultimate Fighter.'
When the odds opened on this contest, Yusuff was a +120 betting underdog to the -145 Santos. Those odds have shifted slightly. Today, Yusuff is +120, while Santos is the -140 favorite. Yusuff has 51 percent of the bets, while Santos has 60 percent of the handle.
The betting pick is Yusuff to win via decision.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MAY 16: (L-R) Opponents Dustin Stoltzfus and Nursulton Ruziboev of Uzbekistan ... More face off during the UFC Fight Night weigh-in at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino on May 16, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)
The opening odds in this middleweight matchup saw Dustin Stoltzfus at +220, while Nursulton Ruziboev came in at -275. Today, Stoltzfus is listed at +230, while Ruziboev is the -285 betting favorite. Ruziboev has 63 percent of the bets in his favor, and a whopping 93 percent of the money is on him.
The betting pick is Ruziboev to win via knockout.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MAY 16: (L-R) Opponents Julian Erosa and Melquizael Costa of Brazil face off ... More during the UFC Fight Night weigh-in at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino on May 16, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)
Opening the UFC Vegas 106 main card is a featherweight scrap between Julian Erosa and Melquizael Costa. Costa was the opening favorite at -170 and he remains the favorite at +185. Erosa was a +140 underdog at opening. Today, he is listed at +150. Seventy percent of the bets are on Erosa, but 72 percent of the handle is on Costa.
The betting pick is Costa to win via decision.

Less colorful, more meaningful: Sean O'Malley thinks lifestyle changes key to reclaim UFC gold

Less colorful, more meaningful: Sean O'Malley thinks lifestyle changes key to reclaim UFC gold Show Caption Hide Caption UFC 316: Sean O'Malley media day interview UFC 316 headliner Sean O'Malley spoke to MMA Junkie and reporters at media day for his bantamweight title rematch vs. Merab Dvalishvili on Saturday in Newark, N.J. MORRISTOWN, N.J. – It's a Sean O'Malley fight week and for the first time since 2020, there's no dye in the cornrows. O'Malley is in late-stage preparations for battle, but the dye isn't the only thing noticeably absent. His style was still there Wednesday as he sported an unbuttoned bright green shirt and his signature fight tattoos. But one accessory was missing: the UFC bantamweight title. Coming off his first UFC title loss and surgery to repair a torn labrum, O'Malley (18-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) enters UFC 316 and quite possibly the most pivotal fight of his career. The moment the haters were waiting for, a fall from the top of the mountain, came in September when he lost the championship to Merab Dvalishvili. Despite the circumstances, O'Malley seems more at peace now than ever. "I just feel more slowed down," O'Malley told reporters, including MMA Junkie, on Wednesday. "Life is slower in a good way." The most pivotal adjustments, however, may have come outside the cage. O'Malley's cleansed his lifestyle. "I catch myself driving, kind of surfing Instagram," O'Malley said. "I catch myself doing stuff like that, playing with my daughter, surfing X. Like, 'What am I doing here?' I feel like limiting those distractions, I'm more present with the family, with training, with friends – just in general." Around his 30th birthday, O'Malley made this hard lifestyle pivot. He says the choices came independent of fighting but have paid dividends in enhancing himself as an athlete. "I've always felt like I'm a happy person, but I was like, 'My life is so perfect. Everything is so perfect. I should even be more happy. What can I take away to add to my happiness, to my peace?'" O'Malley said. "It was just to take away distractions. That was just for me, not necessarily for me as an athlete and wanting to be a better fighter. All of that will make me a better fighter, but it wasn't necessarily for that." Gaming, smoking, and even masturbating (which O'Malley previously referenced but was comically gun shy to mention again when pressed by a reporter Wednesday) – they've all been avoided this camp. O'Malley also showed up to fight week with a new baby boy, which he had not yet announced on social media prior to his arrival. "It's been good," O'Malley said. "Nothing to complain about. I had a healthy baby boy a couple weeks ago. All this stuff is fun, and I get to do this, and it's all good. That Sunday rolls around, it's back to being Dad. It's back to the family. That's all. This provides to be able to live the life that we get to live, and I'm super grateful for it. It puts in perspective what life is all about." If "Dana White privilege" is real, O'Malley is likely one of the beneficiaries, even he admits it. But as he also pointed out, the popularity was earned through knockouts, flair, and highlights. Through merit or privilege, O'Malley has a rematch vs. Merab Dvalishvili (19-4 MMA, 12-2 UFC) Saturday at UFC 316 (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+) at Prudential Center in Newark. Perhaps the new, matured O'Malley will hold gold – just like the younger, less family-centric one did. "I feel like I got a good version of Merab," O'Malley said. "He had the best performance of his life against Umar (Nurmagomedov). I don't think he got the best version of me, so I think I can surprise him."

FanDuel bans bettor over heckling incident with Olympic champion sprinter Gabby Thomas

A sports bettor who heckled Olympic champion sprinter Gabby Thomas during a Grand Slam Track event in Philadelphia over the weekend has been banned by the betting site FanDuel Sportsbook. In a statement sent to The Associated Press on Wednesday, FanDuel wrote it 'condemns in the strongest terms abusive behavior directed towards athletes. Threatening or harassing athletes is unacceptable and has no place in sports. This customer is no longer able to wager with FanDuel.' Last weekend, Thomas finished fourth in a 100-meter race won by Melissa Jefferson-Wooden. The bettor wrote in a post on social media that he 'made Gabby lose by heckling her. And it made my parlay win.' He posted a picture of his parlay that had Jefferson-Wooden winning the 100. Thomas, the 200-meter champion at the Paris Games last summer, explained the heckling incident on X. She wrote: 'This grown man followed me around the track as I took pictures and signed autographs for fans (mostly children) shouting personal insults — anybody who enables him online is gross.' Grand Slam Track, a track league launched by Hall of Fame sprinter Michael Johnson this spring, wrote in a statement it was 'conducting a full investigation into the reprehensible behavior captured on video. 'We are working to identify the individual involved and will take appropriate action as necessary. We will implement additional safeguards to help prevent incidents like this in the future. Let us be clear, despicable behavior like this will not be tolerated.' ESPN first reported the bettor had been banned by FanDuel. The Grand Slam Track season wraps up with the fourth and final meet in Los Angeles on June 28-29. The Thomas incident is the latest in a string of stalking and abuse of female athletes. Frida Karlsson , a Swedish cross-country skiing world champion, recently brought her experience with stalking into public view when she went through a trial. A man in his 60s was given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay 40,000 kronor ($4,100) in damages after being convicted of stalking Karlsson for a year and four months, according to Swedish news agency TT. The man, according to the indictment, called Karlsson 207 times, left her voicemails and text messages and approached her, including outside her apartment. In February, police in the United Arab Emirates detained a man who caused British tennis player Emma Raducanu distress by exhibiting ' fixated behavior ' toward he at a tennis tournament. Raducanu had been approached by the man at the Dubai Championships where he left her a note, took her photograph and engaged in behavior that caused her distress, according to the government of Dubai's media office. ___ AP Sports Writers Mark Anderson and Schuyler Dixon contributed to this report. ___ AP sports:
