Clips show emergency services battling the blaze at the venue in Crumlin, a suburb of the Irish capital. Reacting to the scenes today, McGregor defiantly posted a video on Instagram while holidaying with his family on a boat. Before drinking from a can of Forge beer, he said: "The pub is open for business today folks. "You wouldn't get through it with a rocket launcher. She's spotless. "Up the forge!" He later posted an aerial shot of the pub, captioned: "UNBEATABLE!". It is not clear when the videos - which shows smoke rising from the pub - were taken, but Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed the fire occurred overnight. A spokesperson for the service said: "Dublin Fire Brigade was called at 3.08am to reports of a fire at a premises on the Drimnagh Road. "Firefighters from Dolphins Barn were mobilised to the address and on arrival found a small fire at the front of the building. "Using a high pressure hose reel, one fire engine dealt with the incident and no injuries were reported. "The scene was handed over to Gardai." Garda officers also attended the scene just after 3am and a probe into the blaze has been launched. A spokesman said: "Gardaí attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage at a licenced premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin that occurred at approximately 3.00am on Friday, July 25. "The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade. No injuries have been reported. "The scene is currently preserved and a technical examination will be conducted in due course. Investigations are ongoing." Pictures taken today have revealed the extent of the clear up from the fire, with workmen spotted repairing the exterior of the building. The former UFC World Champion's bar was previously targeted in January 2022. Yobs armed with petrol bombs attacked the venue just hours after the fighter had been there. At the time, cops said they were investigating attempted criminal damage. He purchased the Irish pub for roughly £2million in 2019. In a statement released after the "unprovoked" attack, The Black Forge Inn management team confirmed staff and customers had not been harmed. It read: 'After hours last night it appears that criminals made an unprovoked effort to inflict damage to the Black Forge Inn. 'There was no damage done to any patrons, employees or the Forge and Mr. McGregor was not on the premises at the time of the incident. "The gardai have opened an investigation into the event. We are open and busy as always.' A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: 'Gardai are investigating an incident of attempted criminal damage at a licenced premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin. 'No damage was done to the premises. Gardai are appealing for witnesses in relation to this incident." The Sun has approached Dublin Fire Brigade and Garda for comment. It comes as the star was embroiled in a cheating scandal earlier this month, after being spotted cosying up to a number of women.

Venus Williams confirms engagement to actor partner as she rolls back years to win first match in two years The pair also met at Wimbledon last year, with the Brit favourite triumphing 6-2 6-3. Raducanu booked her spot in the last eight with a brilliant 6-4 6-2 win over four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka. After the match, the 22-year-old said: "I'm really pleased with that match. "I thought that it was pretty mature, and I was holding onto my own service games really well. I knew going into the match that Naomi has been playing good, loves the hard court. "So I was going to have to play well and manage my own service games, because she's very dangerous, hits a big ball, and serves extremely well. Very pleased with how I managed all the situations there. "Naomi is pure speed, which is very difficult to deal with, especially on these courts, where it's very lively. It was extremely important to start the point well on my serve."

The fee is said to be in the region of £850,000, plus a 50% sell-on clause with the Scotland international having two years left on his contract. LAFC, who feature Odin Thiago Holm in their ranks on-loan from Celtic, have made it to the MLS Cup final two of the last three years. Porteous had two years at Watford, after joining for a fee in the region of £450,000 back in January 2023. He spent the last six months on loan at Preston North End. He was at the peak of his powers when he blotted his copybook with a poor tackle on Germany's Ilkay Gundogan which led to a red card and saw Scotland down to ten men in their opener. He's since described the moment as the toughest of his career. The crude challenge led to a penalty which the Germans converted on their way to a thumping 5-1 victory. And - after reviewing the incident - Uefa extended the 25-year-old's ban, ruling him out of his side's two other group games. Porteous said at the time: 'It was obviously really tough, probably the hardest thing that I've ever had to go through personally. Rangers news: Watch moment Steven Gerrard explodes in rage at Hibs bench after Porteous tackle 'When we were away at the Euros, you couldn't really think of yourself that much because you still got a pretty big job to do for the team. 'You can't be sulking, you can't be feeling sorry for yourself, you've got to help the boys. 'I thought I tried to do that to the best I could, but obviously when you leave the camp it's a bit of a hit. 'But I've got a lot of good people around me, and they looked after me as well. 'I feel like I'm in a lot better place now, but as I said it was really tough.' Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
