Hilarious moment Dundee United fan falls TWICE whilst celebrating stunning Euro goal against Rapid Vienna

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THIS is the unfortunate moment a Dundee United fan suffered the indignity of falling not once but TWICE whilst celebrating a goal for his team. Did he care? Probably not. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Cameras panned to the Dundee United fans as one punter hit the deck 3 But after trying to stand up he slid back down holding onto a railing 3 He finally stopped after bumping his way down several steps The Premiership side are in European action this week against Rapid Vienna in Austria. Jim Goodwin's side are the underdogs in the tie but remain hopeful of springing a surprise and making it the play-off round of the Europa Conference League. Rapid took the lead in the 27th minute of the match through Petter Nosa Dahl, putting United on the back foot. But the Terrors struck back in the 33rd minute when Max Watters turned the ball home from Zac Sapsford's cross. The moment the ball hit the net sparked scenes of jubilation in the away end of the Allianz Stadion, with the roughly 1,500 Dundee United fans jumping for joy. But one supporter perhaps jumped a little too joyously, as he hit the deck twice in the aftermath of the goal going in. Cameras at the ground (the game was broadcast live on BBC Scotland) panned to the travelling fans at the moment the supporter found himself on the floor for the first time. And the cameras kept rolling as he tried to regain his footing... only to slip and fall once again, rather awkwardly sliding down the stairs whilst holding onto the railing. Another fan also looked to be struggling to stay on his feet on the stairwell at the same time. The Tannadice faithful had the smiles wiped from their faces just before half-time though. Jim Goodwin on THAT Darvel defeat, Aberdeen axe and rebuilding his career at Dundee United Matthias Seidl put the hosts back in front on the rebound after some ping pong in the United box. If Dundee United make it past Rapid, they would face AIK Stockholm of Sweden or ETO FC Gyor from Hungary. In the other match involving a Scottish side in Europe on the night, Martin Boyle scored his 100th goal for Hibs to give them the lead against Partizan Belgrade in Serbia. Heartwarming moment dad who battled cancer tells son he's won massive jackpot on the EuroMillions

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) HEARTWARMING footage shows the moment a dad who battled cancer told his son he had won the EuroMillions jackpot. Paul Harvey from Attleborough, in Norfolk, scooped £1million on the lottery on July 4 2025. But the 51-year-old is now hoping for some happier times with his two children after scooping the massive prize. Paul filmed the moment he broke the news to his son in a beautiful video. As he made his big reveal, the two were seen laughing hysterically and jumping around the kitchen for joy Paul recalled: 'I wanted to tell the kids in person so when my son got home I set up my phone to record it." And after an agonising wait for them to get home from school, he got his dream moment. Paul said: "How many millionaires do you know?" And his bewildered son replied "zero". It was then Paul said "Well you do now" as he pulled his son into a warm embrace. Paul recalled: "I added 'I swear on my life'! I do like to joke but when I say those words, my kids know to take it seriously! "Their reactions were hilarious and heart-warming. We all feel ridiculously excited and relieved in equal measure. It just doesn't seem real!' Paul has always prioritised his two children and their needs above everything and now plans some special time together to create new memories, starting with a family holiday to Greece. The dad explained: 'Life hasn't always been easy, but the kids mean the world to me, and they always come first. "We have never been away abroad together, and I would love to take them both to Greece. But first we need to get our passports!" As well as a dream holiday together, Paul wants to buy his daughter a second-hand car, a Fiat 500, so she can learn to drive. He also hopes to help them kickstart their careers as they both near the end of full-time education. Paul said: 'I am so proud of what the kids have achieved already in life. They both have big ideas about what they want to do when they leave school, and I cannot wait to help them in their chosen careers. 'It's the important stuff like helping them to learn to drive and getting them a car and insurance so they can get to college and then work. "My daughter has a driving test later this year and I would love to get her a second-hand Fiat 500 for her to practice in.' Paul confesses that he didn't realise he had bagged the life-changing win for a whole week. He checked his National Lottery account as normal after the EuroMillions draw on July 4 to find he had won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip ticket. But it wasn't until a week later that he got an unexpected email from The National Lottery urging him to check his account again and to get in touch urgently. Paul was suspicious and didn't want to get ahead of himself; 'It didn't look like the normal email I get. "I thought this must be a scam. I read the email again and then Googled the National Lottery Line where I saw the telephone numbers matched. "It was then that I allowed myself to get much more excited!'

PGA Tour star reveals magical gift Rory McIlroy wore for good luck every day before Masters win

McIlroy was gifted the good luck charm by a former Prime Minister LUCK OF THE IRISH PGA Tour star reveals magical gift Rory McIlroy wore for good luck every day before Masters win Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RORY MCILROY was wearing an ancient and sacred stone around his neck for good luck in the build-up to his Masters glory. McIlroy, 36, finally completed his career Grand Slam in April with victory at Augusta, bringing an 11-year wait for the elusive Green Jacket to an end. The Northern Irishman was sporting a pounamu necklace around his neck every day when he drove up Magnolia Lane. The precious green stone, which is revered by Maori and New Zealanders, was gifted to him by former New Zealand Prime Minister John Key while on a social golf trip to the country's Tara Iti course last December. Fellow PGA Tour pro and New Zealand native, Ryan Fox, was along on that golf trip too and told the media about McIlroy's good luck charm for the Masters. "Rors kind of said to me the first time I saw him after Augusta, and I'd just won Myrtle Beach [Classic], as well, 'John had gifted me that and I felt like it was good luck. I wore it down Magnolia Lane every day.' "John actually texted me a photo of him in a golf cart with Rory wearing his pounamu, which was really cool.' He added: "[Key] explains what it means a lot better than what I can, but it's a mark of prestige. We call it 'mana' [spiritual power and charisma]. It was a nice little story that he had a little bit of Kiwi on him when he was at Augusta.' McIlroy seems to have an affinity to things down under and, according to Fox, has committed to heading to Australia for the Australian Open this winter. Baffled Rory McIlroy hits TWO balls with ONE shot in incredible never-seen-before incident at The Open He added: "Yeah, obviously Rory seems to love our part of the world, he had a great time at Tara Iti last year, and I know he's keen to go back at some point if he can during his busy schedule. "But it's great to have a little piece of New Zealand [the pounamu] that he loved. 'I've already talked to him about coming down to play the Aussie Open and he can't be more excited about playing Royal Melbourne in a tournament, so that's pretty cool.'
