The nitro porter was praised for its 'sessionability alongside amazing flavour and quality', and it climbed up to top spot from fifth place in 2024. The awards are run by self-proclaimed 'beer experts' We Are Beer and are now in their second year.
'This nitro porter has quickly become a fan favourite with drinkers, buyers and the brewers themselves,' said We Are Beer. 'The resurgence of stout and popularity of Guinness have no doubt helped to drive its success.'

Last year's winner – Deya's 'Steady Rolling Man' – was third in this year's top 50, with Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord' came in at number two.
Speaking about the win, Paul Anspach, co-founder of Anspach & Hobday, said: 'The whole team is incredibly proud and grateful for this award. BBC fans fume over 'unfinished' plot as Scots black comedy axed after two series
Nicola Walker has been dealt a major blow as the popular BBC series has been written off by the broadcaster - and fans are less than impressed. It has been revealed that Annika will not be making a return to screens for a third series. The BBC announced that the show, starring Nicola Walker, had been axed after two series. Nicola, 55, has been dealt the huge blow as the detective drama will no longer run on U+Alibi and BBC. Fans have been left less than impressed at the "disappointing" news as they slammed bosses' decision. The series was first based on the BBC Radio 4 audio drama Annika Strandhed, with Nicola voicing the principal character. The programme was renowned for its distinctive style, with the detective regularly breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to viewers. A representative informed the RadioTimes: "We are incredibly proud of the success of Annika on U+Alibi, but there are no current plans for a third series." Annika's axe comes despite its impressive Rotten Tomatoes rating, with an 83 per cent score and a 96 per cent audience rating. The drama saw Annika leading the fictional Glasgow-based Marine Homicide Unit, with the cast consisting of Katie Leung as DC Blair Ferguson, Jamie Sives as DS Michael McAndrews, Ukweli Roach as DS Tyrone Clarke and Kate Dickie as DCI Diane Oban. The star-studded line-up also included Doctor Who star Varada Sethu joining as DC Harper Weston in season two, while Paul McGann played Annika's love interest Jake Strathearn, and Silvie Furneaux was her daughter, Morgan. Following the news, fans took to social media to vent their frustrations. One person wrote on Twitter: "So disappointed that #BBC aren't bringing #Annika back for S3. So many unfinished plot lines. Really enjoyed S1&2." Another added: "Shame current series of #Annika on @BBCOne is the last. Such a great series...," as a third simply remarked: "Gutted they have cancelled Annika." "WHAT?!! Love this show! Why must @BBC axe popular progs? Why stop after a cliffhanger at the end of the previous series?," fumed another. Viewers also took to discussion platform Reddit, equally as 'gutted' over the news expressing how angry they were. One person wrote: "Gutted about this, loved the show. P****d off as well, don't end things on a cliffhanger then cancel it, insult to the audience!" Someone else added: "Damn, that's so annoying; I enjoyed both series immensely. At least give us the trifecta to close things out properly!" "All it needed was one more series to be complete I reckon, what a joke," wrote another. "One of the better things from the BBC in years and now they axe it with what exactly to fill it's place? Nothing... is most likely the answer." Someone else quipped: "Well that sucks, really was enjoying it and wanted to know what was going to happen in the next series. Why do they do this? Surely this was getting enough viewing figures to continue it. Either way it totally sucks a**." However, not everyone was surprised, as some people didn't have great reviews. One person said: "Surprised they green lit series 2," as someone else wrote: "Probably the only show with Nicola Walker that was a dull fest. Just didn't happen." Another added: "It worked well on the radio series but didn't always translate to screen. I really recommend the R4 series, also with Nicola Walker." "I love her work. But when I watched the first episode and she turned to the camera and spoke, I was like: this doesn't feel right. I never went back," expressed someone else. One other quipped: "Love Nicola Walker but this did her no favours," as someone else echoed: "Agreed. Love her and will watch anything she's in. But this was by far my least favorite."

Oasis issued stark Trump warning as US tour looms
The warning comes as the brothers set to embark on their leg of the tour over the pond. Oasis were issued a stern warning to keep their opinions on Donald Trump to a minimum during the US leg of their tour. A top entertainment manager gave his advice to the Gallagher brothers in order to prevent any political drama whilst the pair are in America. It comes after Liam previously branded the notoriously sensitive US President a "d***", while Noel has described his environmental policies as "pretty f***ing scary". Now, they're being advised to hold their tongues or face potential disruptions to their concerts. Top showbiz exec Jonathan Shalit remarked: "My advice to Oasis is simple: stay out of American politics. If they want their US tour to go ahead without disruption, it would be wise to keep quiet on all things Trump." This guidance follows an incident where a French scientist was barred from entering the US due to anti-Trump comments found on his phone. Immigration officials at an airport reportedly uncovered texts in where he had expressed criticism of Trump's administration back in March. Back in 2018, amidst the ongoing feud between the Oasis siblings, Liam even alleged that Noel was "worse than Donald Trump". Answering a query about who he considered the world's biggest villain, the Wonderwall star remarked: "Gotta be Noel. And he's worse than Donald Trump. He's the biggest liar and biggest faker in the business, so yeah, him." The band, fresh from their performance in Edinburgh, Scotland, over the weekend, will kick off their first US gig in Chicago on August 28, followed by shows in New Jersey and California. Meanwhile, a top tribute artist has claimed that the Gallaghers' cherished mother Peggy will "definitely" be in attendance at the Oasis gigs in Dublin, adding an extra layer of sentiment to the occasion. Gavin Fleming, who impersonates Liam in the Dublin-based tribute band Live Forever, mentioned she'll be present "looking out and seeing her two sons back talking together". He revealed: "I can confirm she's going to be at both [shows]. We have a little source there. She's going to be at the Dublin shows, looking out and seeing her two sons back talking together. It was a real family feud, so it's great to see. They're brothers again, most importantly." The iconic siblings, whose lineage traces back to Ireland, are set to perform at Dublin's Croke Park next weekend. Peggy had previously expressed her desire to attend but was recuperating from hip surgery. She also disclosed that she played a pivotal role as the "instigator" in mending their notorious discord and triggering the reunion.
