A man has been charged after drugs worth £350,000 were seized in Elgin.Police Scotland said cocaine and cannabis were found at a property in the Moray town's Barmuckity Lane on Wednesday afternoon.A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged.He was due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court.

Two men were then traced and the pair were checked over by Scottish Ambulance Service. Sadly Police Scotland have now confirmed the body of the missing 27-year-old has been found. Police are currently working to identify the man who died. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The body of a man has been recovered following searches in the water it the Moncreiffe Island area of Perth. "Emergency services remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man." More to follow... Witness appeal following fatal crash at Roslin Glen

Police in Midlothian are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on the B7003 at Roslin Glen. The crash took place around 6.50am on Thursday, 14 August, 2025 and involved the rider of a black KTM 990 Super Duke motorcycle and driver of a grey Kia Sportage car. The rider of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 44-year-old man, was not injured. The road was closed for approximately six hours for collision investigation at the scene. Road Policing Sergeant Phil Winning said: 'Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the motorcyclist who died following this crash. 'I am appealing for any motorist who was on the B7003 and who may have witnessed what happened or had a dashcam device fitted that may have captured the incident or the vehicles immediately prior to the collision. 'Anyone who can assist our enquiries should come forward as soon as possible.'
