Surprising your dad with a yummy cake is one of the sweetest ways to celebrate Father's Day. But what if the cake you choose is priced at a jaw-dropping Rs 5 lakh? Sounds unreal, right? That's exactly what shocked the internet recently.
Ahead of Father's Day on June 15, a screenshot from a food delivery app or website has gone viral for listing a Hazelnut Chocolate Cake with an unbelievable price tag. While it's likely a technical glitch or a simple typo, it didn't stop social media users from reacting with shock and laughter.
The now-viral screenshot shows a landing page featuring Father's Day special cakes. Most of the prices look normal — a 500 gm Butterscotch Cake is listed at Rs 400 and a 500 gm Red Velvet Cake is priced at Rs 599. But then comes the surprise: a 500 gm Hazelnut Chocolate Cake marked at Rs 500,000.
The user who posted the image on X (formerly Twitter) added a note that read, '5 lakh Cake. This is a very suspicious thing, so you guys must have to check and have a look at this."

The post also went viral on Reddit. The tagline read, 'I just came across this Father's Day special cake. Uhm, what is going on???? Since when have we started paying so much for cakes?".
Here are some of the reactions it received.
'Bro, do not complain. At least they gave you 40 per cent off," commented a user sarcastically.
'5000 me 5 cakes aajaenge and 5 lakh me 5 iPhone lol (You can get 5 cakes for Rs 5000, but only 5 iPhones for Rs 5 lakh lol)," pointed out another.
One person rationalised the situation, saying, 'It is an obvious error."
'5 lakh me toh mere gaon me puri bakery aa jayegi (For Rs 5 lakh, I could buy an entire bakery in my village!)" joked another.
'80000+ ka delivery charge bhi le rahe hain (They are taking a delivery charge of Rs 8000 also)," read a funny remark.

The one who taught me that the only finish line worth crossing is the one you reach by never giving up! Lots of love," tagging his father's handle, @yograjofficial. Yograj Singh, a former India cricketer and an actor, is remembered for his strict, disciplinarian parenting — often described by Yuvraj as both demanding and defining. The lessons of hard work, mental toughness, and the refusal to quit clearly influenced Yuvraj's remarkable journey through Indian cricket , from a flamboyant match-winner to a cancer survivor who made an inspiring comeback. One of India's greatest limited-overs match-winners, Yuvraj played 402 international matches between 2000 and 2017, amassing over 11,000 runs. He was central to India's historic 2011 World Cup win, earning the Player of the Tournament award for his all-round brilliance - 362 runs and 15 wickets. He also etched his name in history with six sixes in an over during the 2007 T20 World Cup. Kuldeep Yadav hints at spin-friendly wicket ahead of England Test series While Yuvraj has often spoken about the tough love he received from his father, this public message reflected a softer, more thankful side of that bond — one built on grit, legacy, and enduring love.

King Charles snubs Prince Harry in emotional Father's Day tribute

As the world marked Father's Day, King Charles III shared a tribute filled with nostalgia, remembrance and silence. The monarch honored his late father, Prince Philip, with a heartfelt post on Sunday, June 15, but left out any mention of Prince Harry, once again fueling talks of a strained bond between father and son. According to a report by Us Weekly, the Royal Family's Instagram account posted old photographs of Charles with Prince Philip and Queen Camilla with her father, Major Bruce Shand. 'To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father's Day today,' read the caption. A short video clip of a baby Charles with his father was also featured in the Royal Stories. A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) What the post didn't include was any image of Charles with his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. This came just a day after the King celebrated his official birthday at the 2025 Trooping the Colour on June 14. He stood beside William, Princess Kate and their three children during the grand event. The Prince and Princess of Wales also marked the occasion with a warm post, thanking everyone who joined in. A family photo with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis accompanied the message. Harry and Meghan Markle, who now live in California, were notably absent, marking the third year in a row they've been excluded from the birthday parade. In May, during an interview with BBC News, Harry said, 'I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore… Life is precious." Harry has publicly acknowledged his father's health struggles—Charles is battling an undisclosed form of cancer—and has said he doesn't know 'how much longer' he has, reports Us Weekly. However, attempts at healing seem to have stalled. In the same interview, Harry revealed that Charles 'won't speak to me' despite his repeated efforts. Harry and Meghan have made it clear that they're not planning a UK return anytime soon. 'I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point,' the Duke of Sussex said. He added that it was 'really quite sad' that he wouldn't be able to show his children the country he once called home. Royal commentator Christopher Andersen later told Us Weekly that Harry's words could have added more strain: 'If you are someone undergoing cancer treatment, to hear those words from your son would, I think, be fairly upsetting.' No, Harry and Meghan were not invited to the 2025 Trooping the Colour. Charles is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Yes, he told BBC News he hopes for peace with his family. He cited safety concerns and a lack of communication with his father.
