Gaza media office: just 73 aid trucks entered Gaza on Friday
This is far short of the 500-600 trucks the UN estimates is needed daily to address the spiralling humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Strip. So far, at least 163 Palestinians, including 92 children have died due to Israeli-imposed starvation in the enclave.
The media office said Israel is "systematically and deliberately" enforcing "security chaos" enabling the looting of trucks.
'We strongly condemn the continued crime of starvation, the closure of the crossings, and the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering,' it said in a statement.

'Dangerous' to suggest Egypt is helping besiege Gaza, Sisi says
In televised remarks on Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdelfattah el-Sisi said there is a "systematic extermination" of Palestinians in Gaza, but that to suggest Egypt plays a role in besieging Palestinians there is "dangerous". The world must facilitate the passage of maximum aid into Gaza, Sisi said, adding that he has urged the Europeans and US President Donald Trump to take such action. The war underway on the Strip aims to "liquidate the Palestinian cause," he added Sisi did not identify a perpetrator. "Egypt has not abandoned the delivery of aid nor is it partaking in the siege of Gaza," he insisted.

UN experts demand 'immediate dismantling' of GHF
UN experts have slammed the Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which has been previously criticised for its militarised aid distribution mechanism. The experts described the organisation as an "utterly disturbing example of how humanitarian relief can be exploited for covert military and geopolitical agendas in serious breach of international law". "The credibility and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance must be restored by dismantling the GHF, holding it and its executives accountable, and allowing experienced and humanitarian actors from the UN and civil society alike to take back the reins of managing and distributing lifesaving aid." They concluded with demands for UN Member States to impose a complete arms embargo on Israel "due to its multiple violations of international law", end trade agreements that could harm Palestinians alongside holding coporations accountable.
