James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33, were charged with Pheobe's murder on June 5.
Cops discovered the teen's remains just a day after in bushland close to a national park - an hour's drive away from Bundaberg airport.
Pheobe, from Gin Gin, north of Brisbane, had not been seen or heard from since Thursday, May 15.
The grieving Bishop family said that officers on Monday confirmed the remains belonged to Pheobe.
They said in a statement: "Our family would like to thank everyone involved from information reported to searching and everyone that has sent heartwarming messages.
"We just would also like to have time to process and grieve this new information as a family and ask for privacy at this time."
And a statement from Queensland Police on Tuesday afternoon also confirmed the tragic update, while appealing for more information on the 17-year-old's last moments.
It said: "Human remains located at an area near Good Night Scrub National Park are that of missing teenager Pheobe Bishop.
"The remains were discovered during a search of the area on June 6. Investigations into locating more items of interest in relation to this matter remain ongoing.
"Officers continue to appeal for any information in relation to Pheobe Bishop or the movement of a grey Hyundai IX35 between May 15 to 18 in the greater Gin Gin area."

Harrowing footage revealed the disgusting conditions Pheobe was living in with her two alleged killer housemates.
Police first arrested Wood as he was the last person to see the teen as he reportedly took her to the airport.
Cops believe during the drive to the airport, Wood, his girlfriend Bromley, and Pheobe all argued over stopping on the trip.
Pheobe wanted to do her makeup in the car as she was on her way to Perth to visit her "high-school sweetheart" boyfriend, Wood said.
The teen got her way in the end as Wood said he pulled over less than a kilometre away from their destination.
He said: "We wanted to give her five minutes, give her her own space to do what she needed to do."

Wood and Bromley will appear in court on August 11.

The taster said he was "forced" to down up to four litres of beer every day but was never warned of the heath risks. Taking matters to court, he said he was required to drink even more before public holidays and special events to meet sales requirements. The court heard his alcoholism was diagnosed eight years later. He later retired on medical grounds aged 65. But judges at the Second Panel of the Superior Labor Court rejected his plea for moral and material damages. Ambev's lawyers argued it was "humanly impossible" for the plaintiff to have consumed that much beer and still work - insisting tastings only require employees to take a "small sip" of the drink. They added that, as a master brewer, he would have been aware of the effects of excessive alcohol consumption and remarked he continued to work as a brewer even after being dismissed from the company. The hearing was the plaintiff's second appeal after his case was thrown out by two lower courts. Judges ruled in favour of the brewery following insubstantial claims linking his alcoholism with the firm. The ruling comes as researchers have revealed heavy drinking more than doubles the risk of brain damage. Boozers who down eight or more alcoholic drinks every week were found to have an increased risk of brain lesions associated with memory and thinking problems in a new study. The 8 ways a pint of beer a day can help BOOST your health – from cancer to diabetes The researchers explained it causes hyaline arteriolosclerosis, which is when small blood vessels narrow and become thick and stiff - making it harder for blood to flow, damaging the brain over time. The condition appears as lesions, areas of damaged tissue in the brain. Heavy drinkers also died an average of 13 years earlier than those who never drank, according to the study published online by the journal Neurology. NHS guidelines on drinking alcohol According to the NHS, regularly drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week risks damaging your health. To keep health risks from alcohol to a low level if you drink most weeks: men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis spread your drinking over 3 or more days if you regularly drink as much as 14 units a week if you want to cut down, try to have several drink-free days each week If you're pregnant or think you could become pregnant, the safest approach is not to drink alcohol at all to keep risks to your baby to a minimum. You read more on the NHS website. The Brazilian research team say their findings don't prove that heavy drinking causes brain injury, but they do show an association. Study author Dr Alberto Fernando Oliveira Justo, of University of Sao Paulo Medical School, said: "Heavy alcohol consumption is a major global health concern linked to increased health problems and death. "We looked at how alcohol affects the brain as people get older. "Our research shows that heavy alcohol consumption is damaging to the brain, which can lead to memory and thinking problems." The study included 1,781 people who had an average age of 75 when they died. All had brain autopsies. Four out of 10 (40 per cent) of those who never drank had vascular brain lesions. Of the moderate drinkers, 45 per cent had vascular brain lesions while 44 per cent of the heavy drinkers had vascular brain lesions. Of the former heavy drinkers, 50 per cent had vascular brain lesions.

‘I would make your life unbearable' people cry as a man chops down neighbours' tree as it slightly encroaches on his BBQ

Legally, your neighbour cannot cut down, damage, or remove any part of your tree without granted permission UNBE-LEAF-ABLE 'I would make your life unbearable' people cry as a man chops down neighbours' tree as it slightly encroaches on his BBQ Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MAN has come under fire after he casually chopped down his neighbours' tree without any permission. The shocking footage was shared online by mum Sophie Pinder who brutally dubbed the unnamed bloke an ''idiot''. Armed with a handsaw, the bloke then leaned over the wooden fence before he started cutting the tree in half. In the UK, the rights and responsibilities concerning trees on private property are well-defined. Legally, your neighbour cannot cut down, damage, or remove any part of your tree without granted permission. If a tree is solely within your property boundaries, it belongs to you, and any actions taken towards it require your consent. However, there are exceptions to this rule. For example, if branches overhang into a neighbour's property, they are permitted to trim the overhanging section back to the boundary line - as long as it does not harm the overall health or stability of the tree. It's key to note that the removed branches and any fruit or flowers attached still legally belong to the owner of the tree, and therefore, should be offered back, the experts at Glasgow Trees explained. Before taking any action, it is advisable for neighbours to communicate and seek agreement on how to handle any tree-related issues to avoid disputes and potential legal challenges. In the clip, the tree, however, barely encroached on the bloke's fancy BBQ set-up - and even the person recording told the topless man he was not allowed to cut the tree. ''You actually can't chop that down,'' she warned the ''naughty'' guy. I hate my new build garden being overlooked so found a 5 METRE privacy fence to block out nosy neighbours for under £30 The jaw-dropping footage has since taken the internet by storm for all the wrong reasons, amassing over 706k views in less than 24 hours. Horrified, more than 1,200 people flooded to comments where they slammed the bloke. One gobsmacked TikToker said: ''If you were my neighbour I would make you life unbearable for doing that, it is disrespectful.'' Another commented: ''Criminal damage!! That will be a trip to court and a criminal record.'' Roots: If tree roots from a neighbour's tree cause damage to your property, you have the right to remove the roots. However, it is advisable to discuss this with your neighbour first to avoid disputes. Always consult your local council or a legal adviser for specific regulations and advice. Someone else chimed in: ''Wasn't even hanging over your fence, just there minding its own business.'' A fourth also blasted the bloke, writing: ''Some people are so entitled it was not interfering with anything.'' If you discover that your neighbour has cut down or severely pruned your tree without permission, there are several steps you should consider to address the issue, such as documenting the damage and approaching your neighbour. It's possible they were unaware of the legal requirements or the tree's boundary, the experts explained. A polite conversation can often resolve the matter more amicably. However, if a direct conversation doesn't lead to a satisfactory resolution, you might consider mediation. Many councils and community organisations across the country offer mediation services to help neighbours resolve disputes without taking legal action. Meanwhile, if the tree was protected under a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or located within a conservation area, the experts strongly advise to report the unauthorised cutting to your local council. They have the authority to investigate and impose fines or other sanctions if required. As a last resort, you may need to consider legal action against your neighbour. To choose the appropriate course of action, consult with a solicitor who specialises in property or environmental law to understand your options and the likelihood of success.
