Tamil actor Santhanam's upcoming film, 'DD Next Level', is in deep trouble over the use of the devotional song - 'Srinivasa Govinda' as part of its 'Kissa 47' song. BJP member and TTD member, Bhanuprakash Reddy, and Janasena Tirupati party-in-charge, Kiran Royal, condemned the use of a devotional song with a western mix and demanded its removal from the film and social media. BJP member Bhanuprakash Reddy, who is also a board member of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), served a defamation notice against actor Santhanam and Niharika Entertainments on May 14. In the notice, they instructed the team to remove the song from the film and social media platforms.The BJP member has sought Rs 100 crore as compensation if the makers fail to remove the song. The notice also highlighted that the song's lyrics are hurting Hindu sentiments and could potentially incite disharmony. The song titled 'Kissa 47' includes the devotional number, 'Srinivasa Govinda Srivenkatesa Govinda' as part of the western mix. The song is composed by ofRO with lyrics written by Kelithee. Akshay Kumar's upcoming film was released to mixed reviews on the day 4 collection, but seems to be performing well on the front of the screen. After just four days in theaters the film has now joined the Rs 100 crore club in the domestic market. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk the movie with star-studded actors has earned an estimated Rs 13.5 crore on the fourth day in release on Monday, following it had generated the sum of Rs 32.5 millions on its Sunday. Housefull 5 box office revenue now is at the sum of 100 crore. The fifth installment of the blockbuster Housefull franchise came out with two different endings, Housefull 5A as well Housefull 5B. Both versions are the same with the exception that the ending differs. On June 9 the version A was a total 19.78 percent Hindi attendance at theatres and matinee shows recorded at 8.88 percent, afternoon shows at 21.54 percent evening shows registering at 22.44 percent, and the night shows registering at 26.24 percent. It is expected to surpass the action thriller Sky Force. The previous 2025 films that have hit the mark of Rs 100 crore in the country include Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, Salman Khan's Sikandar along with Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. Even though Housefull 5 seems to be on the right path The film is believed to cost more than 350 crore for its production so it has a long still a long way to go before it can be regarded as a hit.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 is retaining its consistency at the box office. Within four days of its release, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore-mark. According to Sacnilk, Housefull 5 minted Rs 13.50 crore on Monday, fetching the total at Rs 101 crore in the domestic market. The film had an overall 19.78% Hindi occupancy on June 9. Sharing break-up details of the seat occupancy, Sacnilk reported Housefull 5 had an 8.88% occupancy in the morning shows. The trend followed with a 21.54% audience in the afternoon shows and 22.44% bookings in the evening shows and 26.24% occupancy in night shows. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the international box office figures for Housefull 5 in a post on X. He wrote, "HOUSEFULL 5' STORMS INTERNATIONAL MARKETS – AKSHAY KUMAR'S BIGGEST OPENER OVERSEAS... Housefull 5 is enjoying a triumphant run in international markets...
