Sabrina Carpenter Has Cheeky Response to Rumored Olivia Rodrigo Drama

The 'Taste' singer has largely shied away from addressing the speculation she is the 'blonde girl' Olivia Rodrigo sings about in breakout anthem 'drivers license'—largely thought to be about her breakup with Joshua Bassett—Sabrina did make a cheeky remark to her trademark hair color in her new song 'Skin.' After all, the lyrics suggest, 'Maybe blonde was the only rhyme.' But as for whether she was really alluding to the 2021 love triangle between the Disney stars?
'I didn't really intentionally do that,' Sabrina, 26, told Rolling Stone in an interview publish June 12. 'All I knew was that it wasn't going to stop me from doing what I loved, ever. That's kind of how I've always felt. Sometimes, it's about how you are able to be resilient.'
That said, she looks back on that time as a real period of growth.

'What that era taught me was to just trust myself, and trust that everything is going to work out the way it's supposed to, and trust that relationships are put into your life for a reason,' she added. 'You might not see that in the moment, but you see it later.'
She has not only fully moved on from the drama—but has embraced her blonde identity. 'I don't think about it, ever,' she emphasized, adding, 'I've tried being brunette, and it didn't look good on me, so this is what it is.'
As for proof Sabrina and Olivia both put it in the rear view, they reunited at the 2025 Grammys and shared a sweet embrace.
For her part, Olivia chose not to name names while speaking about "Drivers License' as she wanted the song to speak for itself.
"I totally understand people's curiosity with the specifics of who the song's about and what it's about, but to me, that's really the least important part of the song,' Olivia told Billboard in January 2021. 'It's resonating with people because of how emotional it is, and I think everything else is not important.'

There will be lots and lots of blood,' said director Alfred Hitchcock in an interview about then upcoming horror flick Psycho in 1959. Prior to Psycho, the legendary 'master of suspense" had already racked up quite an array of box office hits. Think Notorious, Shadow of a Doubt, Strangers on a Train, Lifeboat, North by Northwest, Rope, Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Vertigo, among others. And on in this day in 1960 was the launch of Psycho starring Anthony Perkins. The plot of Psycho, of course, centered on an encounter at the eerie Bates Motel between Marion Craine (Janet Leigh), who was on the run after stealing $40,000, and shy motel proprietor Norman Bates (Perkins) and its aftermath, in which private investigator Milton Arbogast (Martin Balsam), Marion's lover Sam Loomis (John Gavin) and her sister Lila (Vera Miles) investigate her disappearance. Marvel has released a collection of new still from The Fantastic Four: First Steps , and they feature Silver Surfer, the Human Torch in fiery flight mode, along with Reed and Sue. This movie is so close to bring released, and I've already got my tickets to see it! As a fan of The Fantastic Four, I'm excited to see what Marvel's plans are for them. I can't wait to see how the story for this film turns out, and I hope that it's the great movie that we all hope it will be.
