Entering the 2025 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns are going through a major quarterback competition. While there are four players competing for playing time, Shedeur Sanders has become the talk of the team.
While he may not begin the season as the starting quarterback for the Browns, many believe that he will end it in that role.
Sanders was an electrifying player throughout his college career. He was projected by most to be a first or second round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Seeing him slide to the fifth round was one of the biggest surprises in NFL Draft history.

To that end, he has been a great teammate so far in Cleveland. He has learned as much as he possibly can and is competing hard for playing time.
With that being said, a new projection would see Sanders end his NFL career as a Hall of Famer.
DraftKings took to social media to share their career projections for Sanders. What they have put forward is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
They believe that Sanders will throw for 62,804 yards and 454 touchdowns throughout his career, completing 68.7 percent of his passes and winning 144 games. In addition, they have him winning a Super Bowl, an MVP, making it to seven Pro Bowls, and becoming a Hall of Famer.
As for which teams they think he'll play for throughout his career, he's projected to play for the Browns from 2025-34, the New Orleans Saints from 2035-37, and the Las Vegas Raiders from 2038-39.

Clearly, they are buying all of the hype when it comes to Sanders. There would be no better way for him to fire back at all of the critics, haters, and teams that passed on him in the draft than by going on to have this kind of career.
Making these kinds of projections for a quarterback who hasn't played a snap in the NFL is also wild. It's fun to think about, but these are over the moon expectations for the young signal caller.
It will be interesting to see how Sanders looks during preseason action. He has the talent to become a special NFL quarterback, but now it's up to him to prove that he actually has what it takes on the field.

Ravens Ex Announces Bold Claim on Aaron Rodgers' Steelers
Ravens Ex Announces Bold Claim on Aaron Rodgers' Steelers originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After months of speculation, veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers finally decided to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he will have a very solid group of weapons around him. Advertisement And one former NFL player had a very bold take about Rodgers' new teammates. On a recent episode of ESPN's Get Up, former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott had something to say about the Steelers' wide receiver group, and it is quite the positive claim. "This is the best group of receivers that we've seen him with in a long time," Scott said. "He has an established receiver. We've seen what he's done with the guys like Greg Jennings and the Jordy Nelsons. He's been a guy that has created and made people's careers that we've never heard of." While that last part may be true, but it may be a but premature to say that this is among the best wide receiver groups the 41-year-old field general has ever had. Advertisement Even though the team was not as successful as many would have expected, Rodgers had quite the group of guys just this past season with the New York Jets. With young stud Garrett Wilson on one side, and future Hall of Famer Davante Adams on the other, it made for quite the wide receiver duo. D.K. Metcalf and the rest of the Steelers' weapons will be looking to prove this season that they are in fact some of the best receivers that Rodgers has ever played with. Buccaneers' Safety's Contract Ranked Most 'Player-Friendly' Deal
Buccaneers' Safety's Contract Ranked Most 'Player-Friendly' Deal originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After an incredible 2023 that earned him a First-Team All-Pro nod and a sixth-place finish in Defensive Player of the Year honors, Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. suffered a setback in 2024, mainly due to injuries. Advertisement The former second-round pick in 2020 earned a record four-year, $84.1 million deal after posting a career-high 122 total tackles with 76 solo and six for loss, while adding eight QB hits, a league-high six forced fumbles and six sacks in 2023. Even while dealing with calf and knee injuries last season, and appearing in just nine games, Winfield still managed 60 tackles with 34 solo and four QB hits to go along with two sacks. But it's the contract that's grabbed the attention of ESPN's Dan Graziano. Graziano named Winfield's contract the most "player-friendly" deal for any safety in the league. "Winfield is the league's second-highest paid safety by average annual salary, just slightly behind [Kerby] Joseph. But the rest of the deal is great for Winfield in comparison," Dan Graziano wrote. "Winfield got a $20 million roster bonus in 2024 and fully guaranteed salaries of $4 million in 2024 and $21 million in 2025. Advertisement "He's sure to make $45 million over the first two years of the deal and would make $64.5 million over the first three if he stays in Tampa Bay. It's strong money, given the rest of the safety market." Winfield Jr. and the Buccaneers hope to rebound from a disappointing playoff performance last season when they were ousted by the visiting Washington Commanders in the Wild Card round. A healthy Winfield Jr. will go a long way to accomplish that.
