Ranveer Allahbadia Holds Up Osamas Photo On Piers Morgan Show During India-Pakistan Debate; Internet Asks, Who Invited Him To Show?
New Delhi: Just days after grabbing headlines for a controversial post, Ranveer Allahbadia is back in the spotlight following his appearance on the Piers Morgan show. The YouTuber, also known as 'BeerBiceps', joined a panel discussing India-Pakistan relations alongside Indian journalist Barkha Dutt, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Hina Rabbani Khar, and Shehzad Ghias Shaikh from The Pakistan Experience.
During the discussion, Allahbadia was seen holding a photo of al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden and terrorist Hafiz Abdul Rauf, using it to illustrate his stance.
He described India's retaliatory actions as 'precision-oriented, moderated, and a retaliation,' adding that India has never been 'an aggressor in any of these situations.'
'We export vaccines, philosophy, engineers, and leaders to the world – which is why our economy is eleven times that of Pakistan's,' Allahbadia stated.
He also questioned the host, saying, 'Piers, my question is to you. You've seen the objective facts and figures. What do you feel about this situation?'
'The world only knows this person (Osama bin Laden)… India has a list of people like him,' he added.

Deleted Post Controversy
Allahbadia was questioned about a now-deleted social media post in which he addressed "Pakistani brothers and sisters."
The post read: 'Dear Pakistani Brothers & Sisters, I will get hate from many Indians for this, but it is important to be said. Just like many Indians, I don't have hate in my heart for you. Many of us want peace as well. Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love. But…'
Responding to the question, Ranveer explained that he deleted the post because Pakistan had broken the ceasefire shortly after a peace agreement.
'I deleted it because Pakistan had just broken the ceasefire and gave us another reason to not trust the entire state once again. Even if you try to have a conversation with Pakistan, it responds with 'Where's the proof of the Pahalgam attack?'' he said.
How Did the Internet React?
Online reactions were mixed. While some praised Ranveer for articulating his viewpoint, others questioned his credibility and motives.
One user wrote critically, 'Paid program to repair all the damage he did.'
Another said, 'Piers, sorry bro… you got the clown for the interview.'
A third comment read, 'Who invited him to that show? What are his credentials for speaking on geopolitical issues? How much was paid for that seat at the table?'

Minister of State L. Murugan meets Vietnamese delegation
India and Vietnam on Thursday (June 5, 2025) agreed to step up cooperation in the media and entertainment sector during a meeting held between Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, L. Murugan, and a delegation of high-ranking officials from Vietnam. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Nguyen Trong Nghia, Polit Bureau member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and chairperson of the CPV's Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation. The meeting was also attended by I&B Secretary Sanjay Jaju, and other senior officials of the Ministry. 'India and Vietnam share traditionally close and warm bilateral relations. In 2022, the two countries celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The India - Vietnam bilateral relations were elevated in the year 2016 to the level of 'Comprehensive Strategic Partnership' during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Vietnam,' a government release said. Diplomacy is about ‘incrementalism', says Congress leader Manish Tewari
In the face of questions raised by the Congress party on the 'political value' of the people that the multi-party delegations had met, and what they had 'actually accomplished' on the Centre's international diplomatic outreach after the recent India-Pakistan conflict, delegates said diplomacy was about 'incrementalism', and was not a '20-20 cricket match'. Ahead of External Affairs Minister S. Other delegates also contested the Congress's claim. JD(U) leader Sanjay K. Jha said that his delegation had met the Japanese Foreign Minister, had breakfast with Ambassadors to Japan from various countries, and in Jakarta, met with ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Ambassadors. 'To criticise an all-party delegation, which spoke in one voice on such an important issue, is a new low for the Congress,' Mr. Jha said. Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) MP John Brittas, who was part of Mr. Jha's delegation, said it had clarified India's viewpoint. 'We didn't go to play a 20-20 cricket match, for there to be winners or losers. Each person is entitled to their own opinion. Our delegation has laid down the foundation, clarifying India's viewpoint, and also underlined the dangers of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. It is for the government now to build over it,' Mr. Brittas said. The president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Asaduddin Owaisi, who was part of a delegation led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Baijayant Panda to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria, said that it was 'subjective criticism' to claim that the delegation did not meet people of 'political value'. 'Out of the four countries we visited, one (Algeria) is currently a non-permanent member of the UNSC (United Nations Security Council), and another (Bahrain) will get a seat next year. They exert influence on Pakistan and will be crucial in India's efforts to put Pakistan on the FATF (Financial Action Task Force) grey list,' Mr. Owaisi said, adding that the delegation met top decision-making bodies in all the four countries, and also members of think tanks.
