Being released from WWE can be devastating for some wrestlers. Not only are they leaving what many consider to be the pinnacle of professional wrestling, but they are also out of a job.

However, this isn't the case for everyone, and it especially isn't the case for Bea Priestly, formerly known as Blair Davenport.

Priestly announced she was released back in February, and in a recent interview with Tom Campbell of Cultaholic, she revealed that it surprisingly filled her with joy.

"It's one of those things, you don't realize how unhappy you are until you feel happy that you got the call saying that you don't have a job anymore. That was kind of the thing, I was like, 'Oh, okay, maybe it was good for me to be fair.'"

Priestly went on to say how everyone backstage immediately reached out to her after the news went out.
"The actual outreach that I got from loads of people within WWE — It is what it is, I don't take anything personally, it's business, but I do think a lot of people felt bad for me because I just got called up, I didn't even have a year on SmackDown or Raw or whatever.
"The amount of outreach I got from actual talent within the company basically saying how sorry they were and they wish me the best and they're sure I'll be back or be fine, it was nice to be like, 'Oh wow, a lot of people do actually care about me.'"

Finally, Priestly revealed what could be next for her, saying that while she's open to heading to AEW, she currently wants to focus on her own thing.
"Definitely now with Toni [Storm], everyone knows how close me and Toni are. We're like sisters at this point," Priestly explained. "She lives in Orlando as well, we see each other fairly often. But I'm also along the lines of I'm definitely open to having conversations but I do also want a little bit of time just to do my own thing because I've just come out of a contract where it's like you have an app.
"If you've got a dot on this day, you have to be there, you have to show up. If you're sore from the gym or you've had a hard match and they book you the next day, you can't say you don't feel like it. You have to go do it even when you don't feel 100 per cent, or you don't particularly feel wanting to do it. You just have to."

The promotion's showcase event will return to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year, chief content officer Paul Levesque confirmed during the "Money in the Bank" broadcast. This will be the second time that WWE will present WrestleMania at the same venue for two straight years. WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V were both held at the Atlantic City Convention Hall in New Jersey in 1988 and 1989. Advertisement WrestleMania 42 will be on April 18-19, 2026 with several WWE events also scheduled for that weekend in Las Vegas, including "SmackDown," the Hall of Fame ceremony, "NXT Stand and Deliver" and "Raw After WrestleMania" at nearby T-Mobile Arena. WWE's signature event was originally scheduled to be held in New Orleans on April 11-12, 2026. WrestleMania 42 will reportedly be moved back a week due to a scheduling conflict with a concert event at Allegiant Stadium. The reason for taking the event out of New Orleans was not reported, though there have been rumblings that WWE management believes more money is to be made in Las Vegas after drawing 117,380 fans across both nights of WrestleMania 41 this year. Additionally, WWE received $4.24 million in tax breaks from the city, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Advertisement New Orleans has reportedly been promised a future WrestleMania by WWE, in addition to a "Money in the Bank" next year. The city has hosted a WrestleMania previously in 2018 and drew 78,240 fans to the Caesars Superdome. Before Las Vegas was confirmed, other cities that were rumored for possible new locations were London and Saudi Arabia.

Becky Lynch Wins Women's Intercontinental Title At WWE Money In The Bank
Becky Lynch walked into Money in the Bank looking to get a title back, and walked out with one wrapped around her waist. During tonight's premium live event, Lynch defeated Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. The match Lynch settled things for now between the pair. In the match, Lynch walked out with the win through a bit of underhanded means. Advertisement Late in the match, both Valkyria and Lynch barely avoided being counted out after battling outside of the ring. The duo then began trading pin reversals, with Lynch eventually winning by holding onto Valkyria's shorts. After the win, Lynch made sure Valkyria lived up to her promise, and had her raise her arm up in victory. Lynch took it a bit too far, though, and made Valkyria do it in all four directions, then put the belt around her waist. Valkyria had had enough, though, and put the belt around Lynch's waist, then suplexed her before hitting a Nightwing to leave Lynch down.
