Big Taylor Swift Announcement Made on Friday

Yahoo05-05-2025

Best believe she's still bejeweled, when she walks in the room, she can still make the whole place shimmer.
Swifties uncovered some big news on Friday. Fans and tracking accounts on X quickly noticed the streaming total of Taylor Swift had gone up tremendously over the past few weeks.
According to @SwiftyRuza on X, Swift has been streamed over six billion times on Spotify in 2025 alone. The X user is known in the Swiftie community to post daily album updates, Spotify streams, charts and milestones of the Grammy-winning singer.
The "You Belong With Me" singer remains the most-streamed female artist this year, despite no new music in over a year. Her most recent project was "The Tortured Poets Department," which was released last April. Swift also wrapped her "Eras Tour" in December and has been keeping a relatively low profile this past year.
This news comes after it was announced that Swift crossed the five billion mark on April 12, meaning she pulled in over a billion additional streams in just three weeks.
Whether it's the angsty reflections of "Red," mourning your situationship breakup while listening to "The Tortured Poets Department," or being completely in love with your partner while listening to "Lover," there seems to be a Taylor Swift song for every emotion, experience and moment in life.
With a discography that spans nearly two decades of music, the 35-year-old singer offers a vast range of songs that listeners can stream and relate to. From her early country ballads in "Taylor Swift" and "Speak Now" to the upbeat pop anthems of "1989" to the indie folk vibes of "Folklore" and "Evermore," Swift's versatility makes her music resonate with fans across generations.
The six billion streams in 2025 alone speak volumes about both her global reach and her fans' dedication. Considering we're not even halfway through the year and still have eight months to go, that number is only going up from here.

Taylor Swift 'Fears Imminent Harm' From Stalker Claiming She's The Mother of His Child

Taylor Swift 'Fears Imminent Harm' From Stalker Claiming She's The Mother of His Child originally appeared on Athlon Sports. In recent years, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been vocal about wishing to protect not only the privacy of his relationship with pop icon girlfriend Taylor Swift - but also Swift herself. But this time around? The music sensation needs help from the courts. Swift has been granted a restraining order against a Colorado man after he allegedly visited her Los Angeles home multiple times while insisted that she's the mother of his child. Swift filed the restraining order last Friday, alleging that a man named Brian Jason Wagner has 'made various statements about living at my property,' 'being in a relationship with me … believing I am the mother of his son … needing to see me in person,' according to a legal filing obtained by media outlets, which adds, "All of which are untrue and disconnected from reality.' Per the filing, Swift, says that Wagner first stopped by her Los Angeles home in 2024 and returned several times that July. She claimed that Wagner again stopped by her home in May 2025. Swift's security team reportedly later learned that Wagner was once in prison and had allegedly written lengthy jail cell letters to the Grammy winner 'about his infatuation with (her), a romantic relationship with (her ... which does not exist), and other completely fabricated stories about his involvement in (her) personal life.' The filing states that Wagner allegedly found a way to include Swift's address on his driver's license. Per the filing, Swift, 35, said, 'I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,' she insisted, claiming she has a 'fear of imminent harm.' The temporary restraining order was granted on Monday and will expire on June 30. Swift - and Kelce, also 35 - are not stranger to such threats, with Kelce having beefed up security and made other changes to his home in Kansas City. A man was arrested in New York for a third time for stalking her in January 2024. And in July 2024, a man was arrested at her Eras Tour stop in Germany for allegedly threatening the couple. Jason Kelce Reveals the Truth on Major Personal Decision

Jason Kelce Reveals the Truth on Major Personal Decision originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Jason Kelce has been doing a lot since he retired from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. Since then, the Super Bowl-winning center has gotten himself a deal with ESPN as a football analyst, which also gave birth to his own talk show on the esteemed sports network, "They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce." Advertisement On top of that, the 37-year-old also runs a very successful podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, entitled "New Heights." Kelce has also ventured into multiple businesses. Apart from being a part-owner of Cincinnati, Ohio-based alcoholic beverage company Garage Beer, the NFL icon also decided to invest in his passion for golf. In May, Kelce was officially announced as a part-owner of the Sullivan County Golf Club in Liberty, New York. The seven-time Pro Bowl center joined actor Bill Murray and entrepreneur Mike Madden, the son of NFL legend Mike Madden, among others, as part of the golf club's high-profile ownership group. In a recent interview, Kelce opened up about his major personal decision to invest in Sullivan County. According to the former Eagles star, it was renowned golf writer and editor Tom Coyne who paved the way for him. Advertisement "So Tom and I played golf and did a podcast that he has," Kelce said, via kelcebrothers on Instagram. "And we just kind of got to know each other through that. "And, you know, I've been getting more involved with golf. I'm doing some stuff with my nonprofit, Underdog ... But (I've) been working with Tom and doing some things on that front. Jason Kelce on the ESPN postseason countdown set.© Kirby Lee-Imagn Images "And then he all of a sudden tells me, 'Hey, do you want to go play a hoopie with Bill Murray?' I'm like, '(Expletive) Yeah, I want to go play a hoopie with Bill Murray.' And that's when we kind of got to talking. "It sounded like this nine-hole course up in the Catskills in Sullivan County was going to be pretty killer. ... From there, we kind of came together, and now we've got a golf course." Advertisement While it was not disclosed how much Kelce invested in this new business venture, there's no denying that purchasing a stake in a golf course had to burn a hole in his pockets. However, as Kelce said during the announcement, his relationship with the sport of golf has grown over the past few years, and he came to the conclusion that it was due time to make "a long-term commitment" by putting his money where his mouth is. Weinstein jury set to keep deliberating after tensions spill into public

NEW YORK (AP) — Jurors in Harvey Weinsteinn'ssex crimes retrial appear to be moving past some interpersonal tensions and focusing on one of his three accusers as deliberations stretch into a fourth day Tuesday. At the end of Monday's session, jurors requested to start off Tuesday with electronic copies of emails and other evidence pertaining to Jessica Mann — the accuser with arguably the most complex history with Weinstein. During days of testimony, Mann said the Oscar-winning movie producer raped her in 2013 amid a consensual relationship that continued for years afterward. Weinstein's lawyers emphasized that she kept seeing him, accepting invitations and sending warm messages to him. Mann said she 'compartmentalized' the pain he caused her. Weinstein, 73, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges in the case. In addition to the rape charge, he's accused of sexually assaulting two other women, Mimi Haley and Kaja Sokola. Weinstein didn't testify during the current trial, but maintained through his attorneys that he had completely consensual encounters with his accusers, who wanted his help building show business careers. Weinstein was one of the movie industry's most powerful figures until a series of sexual misconduct allegations against him became public in 2017, fueling the #MeToo movement and eventually leading to criminal charges. The jury is made up of seven women and five men. Their closed-door discussions began Thursday and apparently have been fractious at times. One juror asked Friday to be excused because he felt one member of the group was being treated unfairly. Monday began with two jurors giving contrasting takes on the atmosphere in the deliberation room. First, the foreperson complained to the judge, prosecutors and defense lawyers that some jurors were 'pushing" others to change their minds, talking about Weinstein's past and going beyond the charges. The foreperson didn't specify what was said. Trial evidence has included some testimony about allegations outside the scope of the current charges, such as mentions of the groundswell of claims against the ex-studio boss in 2017. Another juror soon asked to speak to the court. In her estimation, things were 'going well' and jurors were 'making headway.' By the end of Monday, the jury as a whole said in a note that it was 'making good progress.' Weinstein originally was convicted in New York in 2020 of raping Mann and forcing oral sex on Haley. Sokola's allegation was added last year, after New York state's highest court overturned the 2020 conviction and sent the case back for retrial. The Associated Press generally does not identify people without their permission if they say they have been sexually assaulted. Sokola, Mann and Haley have agreed to be named.
