Bruce Willis' Daughter Tallulah Defends Sharing Photos

Buzz Feed9 hours ago

Bruce Willis' daughter Tallulah Willis has defended sharing photos of her 'vulnerable' father on social media following his dementia diagnosis.
For context, Hollywood star Bruce, now 70, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, a year after he was diagnosed with aphasia, which impacts somebody's ability to understand or produce speech.
Bruce's family previously shared that the dementia impacts his ability to communicate, and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, shared an update on how he is doing back in October. The couple split in 2000 but have maintained a close friendship, in part due to their shared children.
'The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is. But for where he's at, he is stable," Demi said at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival. 'What I always encourage is to just meet them where they're at. When we're holding on to what was, I think it's a losing game.'
Then, earlier this month, Bruce's daughter Rumer Willis opened up about how Bruce's diagnosis impacts her in an emotional Instagram statement that she posted on Father's Day. Alongside a selection of photos of herself and Bruce, Rumer wrote: 'Today is hard, I feel a deep ache in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I'm doing and what's going on in my life.'
'To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes,' she went on. 'I wish I asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all. But I know you wouldn't want me to be sad today so I'll try to just be grateful reminding myself how lucky I am that you're my dad and that you're still with me and I can still hold you and hug you and kiss your cheek and rub your head I can tell you stories.'Referencing her two-year-old daughter Louetta, Rumer added: 'I can watch the way your eyes light up when you see Louetta I will be grateful for every moment I have with you. I love you so much dad happy Father's Day. Sending love to all those who are in the boat with me or have lost their fathers.'
And on Sunday, Rumer's sister Tallulah divided her 450k Instagram followers when she shared a selection of photos of herself and her fiancé, Justin Acee, alongside the caption: 'Sunday funday at Grams ! Grateful 🕊️'
In the first photo in the carousel, Tallulah can be seen sitting on the floor and holding her dad's hand while they smile at one another. In another, she is hugging Bruce and looks somewhat emotional, with Justin posing next to the star in the third photo.
While most of Tallulah's followers welcomed this glimpse of Bruce, some questioned whether it was ethically right for her to share them. One user commented: 'I don't think you should expose your dad to the public! He's vulnerable! And some things should be kept private! You don't have his permission to post it!'
And Tallulah took it upon herself to address the criticism by replying to this comment, explaining: 'hi. I hear that. As a family we use our discretion when posting. Today was a great day filled with smiles. I made the judgement call to show that tot he world, because I know what he means to everyone.'Her words struck a chord with many, who praised Tallulah for having this approach. One person wrote: 'As a caregiver for my mom, who battled Alzheimer's for over 10 years, your posts are a beautiful way of showing the joy in the small moments. Having a network of families who share this experience, and who are NOT judgmental, is everything. Those making negative comments hopefully will never have to go through this. I wish you all the best. ❤️''Thanks for sharing Bruce with us. It's good to see his smile and yours as well,' somebody else added.Another commented: 'This is a loving picture. There should be no criticism of her posting this picture. Bruce and his daughter are raising awareness, so this can be cured someday.'While one more wrote: 'It's really generous to let us see these moments, because you know how much we love him, too. ❤️'

‘When Calls the Heart' co-stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum tie the knot

In true Hallmark fashion, 'When Calls the Heart' co-stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum found love on set. Now, the two are officially married. The newlyweds, who have appeared in the period drama since the show debuted in 2014, confirmed their union Monday with a joint Instagram post of photos from their wedding, captioned with a simple infinity symbol. Krakow, 40, and Rosenbaum, 38, first sparked romance rumors in 2023 when Krakow revealed on Instagram that they had adopted a dog, Willoughby, together. But it wasn't until a year later that the two confirmed their relationship on Valentine's Day. The actors, who have kept their relationship relatively private, surprised fans with news of their nuptials. 'Y'all dropped a whole wedding like it was a Tuesday fit check,' one social media user commented. 'Plot twist of the year!!' But this isn't the first marriage to come out of 'When Calls the Heart.' Last September, co-stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace also wed. 'I'm still crying. My favorite pairing!' Wallace commented on Krakow and Rosenbaum's post, adding wine and cheese emojis. 'Beautiful pictures, beautiful friends, beautiful husband and wife - xo,' McGarry wrote. 'When Calls the Heart' is Hallmark Channel's longest-running original series and was recently renewed for a 13th season, scheduled to premiere in 2026. The release date has not yet been announced. Krakow stars as Elizabeth Thornton (and also serves as an executive producer) and Rosenbaum plays Mike Hickam on the popular Western.

Nothing's Headphone 1 Might Be Its Riskiest Audio Product Yet

Nothing has lots of wireless audio products at this point—trust me, I've covered basically all of them. First, there was the Ear 1, then the Ear 2, then the Ear Stick (RIP), then the Ear, then the Ear A, then Ear Open, and, oh my god, that's a lot of wireless earbuds. There's one kind of audio product that it hasn't ever released, though, and that's an over-ear pair of headphones. That's all going to change very soon, according to recent leaks from Nothing_fan_blog on Instagram, which has leaked the company's Headphone 1. Nothing Headphone (1) First Look ! 👀 Do you guys like it? It's quite different. — TechiBoy (@techiboy96) June 20, 2025This is apparently Nothing's first over-ear headphones, and it's not just a precedent; it looks like a heck of a big swing. First, there's the look. As you can see, there's still the characteristic Nothing transparency—you can see a little bit inside the headphones just like in the Ear-series earbuds, but with a slightly different spin. I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting a big cassette/tape recorder vibe, which pairs well with Nothing's canonical reverence for old tech like Game Boys and Walkmans. There's even a new soft blue color that treads outside of the typical white and black and evolves a theme solidified by the Ear A wireless earbuds, which debuted in a Playdate-esque yellow color. Probably even more notable than the color or the transparency, though, is the actual shape of these things. One choice you've probably noticed is that the earcups—or really the whole apparatus that holds them—are rectangular instead of round or elliptical like most headphones. That, to me, is actually the most jarring of all of the design choices and one that I'm going to guess may be divisive among Nothing audio fans and non-fans alike. As someone who has a hard time not looking like a small child in oversized headphones, I have my doubts about Nothing's decision to go rectangular here, but I'll reserve judgment until I get a pair on my head. That's all to say: Nothing is taking some chances, and it's not just design. Wireless, over-ear headphones also connote a few things about price and quality. On the latter front, the price, we can reasonably expect the Headphone 1 to be more expensive than any of its wireless earbuds of yore. If I were a betting man, I'd guess they'll still be well under high-end competitors like AirPods Max, but still $200 or more. And on the quality side of things, we can expect the Headphone 1 to be decidedly hi-fi. Nothing has already announced that it's partnering with KEF, a known entity in the hi-fi audio space, and the Headphone 1 appears to be the first Nothing product born from that partnership. As noted by WhatHiFi, leaked images show 'Sound by KEF' emblazoned right on the headphones themselves, making them the first clear traversal into a more premium audio space. So, to recap, what we're looking at is a first-ever product for Nothing in a new audio niche with a higher price and quite a big swing on design. To be honest, that's not just one swing; that's more like three, and according to America's favorite pastime, three strikes and you're out. To be clear, it's impossible to say at this point if any of those swings from the Headphone 1 are a miss, though. I haven't seen the headphones in person, I haven't listened to them, and I don't know how much they cost. Maybe we're looking at two or three runs on base, or maybe Nothing hit a grand slam. In any event, Nothing is clearly playing a new game here, and I look forward to seeing (or hearing, I guess) how this one turns out.
