CTV Newsa day ago
Stolen tools have been recovered after they were seen by police in public.
The incident happened on May 6 just before 7 a.m.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service launched an investigation and said the tools were taken from a storage shed nearby.
The following items were recovered:
Fiskars pole saw/pruner
4450 Champion generator
Red gas Gerry can
A half inch 18-volt DeWalt drill
Stihl chainsaw MS260
Large ball diamond rake
Square shovel
12-inch rigid compound miter saw
The property was returned to the owner.
A 44-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged for break-and-enter a place and commit theft and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused was expected to attend court at the end of April, but officers said the suspect failed to attend.
On Aug. 8, she turned herself in for an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
