John Oliver Called Out Dean Cain For Joining ICE

John Oliver bashed ICE's recruiting efforts by using former Lois and Clark Superman actor Dean Cain as an example. (Watch the video below.)
In a segment covering Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sunday's Last Week Tonight, the host noted Cain was joining the agency and persuading others to do the same in a video Cain shared last week.
'You know, there's an old saying in Hollywood: 'If all you can get is Dean Cain, you are fucked,'' Oliver snapped.
The British comedian was just beginning to soar.
'Now, I'm not saying that ICE isn't finding people,' he said. 'I'm just saying, when you are reduced to pinning a badge on the 59-year-old star of The Dog Who Saved Christmas, The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation, The Dog Who Saved the Holidays, The Dog Who Saved Halloween, The Dog Who Saved Easter and The Dog Who Saved Summer, maybe you are in trouble. Although, on the plus side, no need for that guy to wear a mask because the chances of anyone recognizing him are fucking zero.'
While offering practical tips on what to do if you are approached by ICE (just ask if you're free to leave and say you want to speak to a lawyer, attorneys told the show), Oliver pivoted to another possibility:
'I recognize that in some cases, you may be unable to help yourself from saying: 'Didn't you use to be Superman? I thought you died. I can't believe I'm meeting a filmmaker.''
Actor John Leguizamo already zinged the conservative Cain's latest career move, but Oliver's jokes offer another dose of comic Kryptonite for the former Superman actor.

Like, that's not how you act in a free country,' Miller mocked. 'I'm not untrained,' Cain shot back, bringing up how he became a deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer nearly a decade ago. 'So, I don't know why you're saying untrained. And by the way, when you join ICE, they train you. So, to say that and try to denigrate because I'm an actor, I shouldn't be able to be concerned about what's going on with our borders or with our law enforcement agencies is denigrating. Model spends almost $50K on multiple BBL surgeries thanks to ‘botched' jobs: ‘I couldn't sit down'
As the saying goes, 'Beauty is pain,' and this model isn't letting it stop her. Ex-flight attendant Alanna Pow is no stranger to going under the knife — as the 22-year-old will soon spend over $50,000 on several surgeries of the same kind. Pow went under the knife for the popular BBL, Brazilian butt lift surgery, not once but twice so far — and soon will go for a third. The recovery was extremely painful because the first two surgeries weren't done properly, forcing the 22-year-old to lie on her 'front for six weeks because I couldn't sit down.' The model and ex-flight attendant is no stranger to going under the knife — but she never expected to get three of the same surgeries. During take-off, I sat on my BBL cushion and the pain was excruciating, the model said, according to Jam Press. 'I also had to wear a compression garment for six weeks underneath my uniform.' Pow flew over 6,400 miles to Turkey last year for her first BBL, which cost her $10,855.99. Then she made the trek back for her second one for the same price — where the surgeon gave her a two-for-one deal and threw in a nose job for free. The unfortunate news is that Pow has no choice but to undergo yet another butt lift surgery, yes, a third one, to correct the first two botched jobs. 'The first doctor in Turkey took way too much fat from my lower thighs and left them looking wavy. I've been insecure about them ever since,' she admitted. Pow flew to Turkey twice for the same surgery. It won't come cheap, though — this third booty surgery will cost over $26,000. Pow is a surgery pro at this point and is looking at the glass half full. 'I'm so excited for my third BBL. The first two were just learning lessons for me.' Funny enough, this isn't the first BBL mishap to happen. One woman who traveled to the Caribbean to get butt implants was at the gym when she realized hers had fallen out. '…when I got back from there [the DR], I went to the gym. I was squatting in the gym, and I felt something,' the 29-year-old explained during a sit-down interview with British TV personality Olivia Attwood for her UK show 'Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection.' 'My leg went all tingly, and I felt something come out. My implant was hanging.'

Comedian John Oliver to make tour stop in Baltimore at the end of 2025
John Oliver, a comedian and the host of HBO's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, will be making a tour stop in Baltimore at the end of 2025. The "John Oliver Live" tour will be at Lyric Baltimore on December 30, 2025. General tickets will go on sale beginning on Friday, August 15. John Oliver has won many awards, including Primetime Emmys, Writers Guild Awards, and more. Aside from hosting and producing "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," Oliver was a correspondent on The Daily Show and won three Primetime Emmys for his writing on the show. He was also a guest host for two months on The Daily Show in 2013. Oliver also hosted his stand-up series for Comedy Central for four seasons. Other notable film and television credits include Zazu in Disney's The Lion King (2019) and a recurring role in the NBC sitcom Community (2009-2014), Big Mouth, Paramount's Wonder Park, The Detour, Bob's Burgers, Danger Mouse, The Smurfs, The Smurfs 2, and Rick & Morty. Famous comedian, director and actor Adam Sandler is bringing his "You're My Best Friend" tour to Baltimore's CFG Bank Arena on Sept. 13, 2025. Sandler is known for his mega roles in movies, such as Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Grown Ups, Mr. Deeds, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Longest Yard, and 50 First Dates, among many others.
