Causion Launches 'Sunny Day' in Collaboration With Elite Island Resorts— a Celebration of Antigua's Romantic Beaches and Sunsets
ST. JOHN'S, Antigua--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunny Day, the beautiful new song and video from Antigua's Reggae Ambassador, Causion, has officially launched on all major streaming platforms.
Sunny Day celebrates the stunning beauty of Antigua's white-sand beaches and golden sunsets just in time to plan your romantic summer getaway.
Antigua is one of the Caribbean's most sought-after destinations, boasting upscale beach resorts, flavorful restaurants, vibrant arts and culture community, and easy flights from many major cities.
'Sunny Day was inspired by love,' said Causion. 'Love of the sun, sand, sea and people that make Antigua so special,' he continued.
The Sunny Day music video was filmed on location at Galley Bay Resort and Spa, one of the island's most desirable hotels featuring Michelin-caliber dining, stylish beachfront suites, and incredible sunsets.
'Sunny Day captures the essence of Antigua,' said Larry Basham, Chief Operating Officer of Elite Island Resorts. 'The song and video are inspirational and aspirational—in line with our commitment to sharing amazing Caribbean travel experiences by working with iconic local artists like Causion,' Basham explained.
Sunny Day marks Causion's third musical collaboration with Elite Island Resorts, one of the Caribbean's most successful all-inclusive hospitality groups. Causion, more formally known as Gregory Colin Bailey, was born in Antigua and grew up in the island's bustling English Harbour area.
'Sunny Day is about romance and positivity,' stated Causion. 'We all need a reason to smile, and Sunny Day will have you dancing on the sand and loving life. Antigua is my sunny day,' he said.
In 2022, Causion and Elite released their debut collaborative effort, Antigua Me Come From. The song quickly became a staple at international travel and trade shows, and local events like Antigua carnival and Sailing Week.
The following year, Causion and Elite released Caribbean Vacation, which has become one of the best performing Caribbean music videos of all time with over one million views on YouTube and tens of thousands of views on Elite's viewing platforms.
In 2024, following his collaborations with Elite Island Resorts, and a lifetime of musical accomplishment, the government of Antigua and Barbuda honored Causion by bestowing the title of Commander of the Most Precious Order of Princely Heritage—one of the country's highest national awards.

Extreme traveler is walking more than 8,000 miles from the UK to Asia — here's the exact route he's taking
He's got one hell of a step count. Luke Deakin, an adventurous Brit with a backpack and a dream, is walking from his home in the United Kingdom to Southeast Asia, a journey of more than 8,000 miles — and he's just revealed his exact route. The globetrotting trekker has been vlogging the wild journey on Instagram and TikTok for months, walking alongside fellow Brit Sophie. The daring journey recently went viral after a clip caught fire on a popular Reddit group. 'Right now I'm walking from England to Vietnam and this is the route that I've taken so far and the route I'm going to take,' Deakin explained in the video, originally posted Feb. 28. 'On the 16th of September 2024 I started walking from Stratford-upon-Avon to France and then into Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. I then headed into Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria.' At the time, Deakin was hoofing it through Greece — with Turkey on deck. 3 Brit adventurer Luke Deakin is hiking 13,000km from England to Vietnam — and just dropped his full step-by-step route. @Chubbytrekka / YouTube Along the way, he's been filming everything: chats with locals, snack reviews, and run-ins with roadside cows. 'It's going to take me about two months to cross Turkey where I'll then head into Georgia, Azerbaijan and then take a ferry to Kazakhstan,' he said. 'This is where I'll face logistical nightmares going hundreds of kilometers without food and water. The long stretch of Uzbekistan crossing over into Afghanistan, Pakistan and then over India.' 'Why am I doing this? To prove that normal people can do great things and to have the adventure of a lifetime. I'll then cross into Bangladesh, Myanmar and down through Thailand. Navigating 40 degree heat and rainy season I'll then cross into Cambodia, then Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi where I'll finish my journey.' On June 3, Deakin posted an updated video about how he stays online during the trip. 'How I stay connected while walking from the UK to Vietnam! No SIM card hunting, no overpriced plans, just instant data anywhere in the world,' he wrote, plugging the app Saily. 'It's something I use every day on my trip!' He doubled down in the clip: 'Staying connected on my phone is important… imagine how difficult this journey would be without the internet.' 3 The globe-trotting Brit — joined by sidekick Sophie — has been documenting every wild step on Instagram and TikTok, and just blew up after a clip from his @chubbytrekka account landed on Reddit on June 4. @Chubbytrekka / YouTube His route? 'UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam.' He's already racked up 570K followers on Instagram and 236.4K on TikTok — but not everyone's a fan. On Reddit, skeptics questioned his odds. 'People spend 5-7 months walking the Appalachian Trail… this guy stands no chance,' one hater griped. 3 His path? A wild 13,000-kilometer haul through 24 countries — from the UK to Vietnam — with stops in France, Turkey, India, Cambodia and everywhere in between. @Chubbytrekka / YouTube Another shot back: 'He's already walked UK to Eastern Turkey… much further than the Appalachian Trail.' Some argued the real challenge wasn't the mileage — but the map. 'More politically challenging than physical,' one wrote. 'Walking through like 2 or 3 countries dealing with civil war or straight up war lol.' Others on Instagram cheered him on: 'Love following your journey. So f–king cool,' one fan wrote. In his June 1 YouTube update, Deakin revealed a visa dilemma: he had six days left in Turkey with 750 kilometers still to go. 'I want to overstay the visa for about two to three weeks and pay the fine,' he said. 'We're in Turkey. We've walked through 11 countries.' And they're 'in for another year on this trip.' From Stratford-upon-Avon to Southeast Asia? He's not just walking the walk — he's living the long-haul dream.

Summer Game Fest starts today June 6. The annual kickoff stream begins at 5PM ET, which isn't ideal for folks with regular jobs, but we'll be in Los Angeles to cover the event in person, so you can just hit up the site later for updates. The best way to watch along this is via the YouTube stream above. After all, the event is being hosted at the YouTube Theater. There will also be a Twitch stream for the YouTube-averse. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. The organizers, including host Geoff Keighley, are promising "spectacular new video game announcements, surprises and reveals." I like all three of those things. We don't know that much about what games will be discussed during the two-hour event, but we aren't going in totally blind. The stream will feature a new look at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers , which is a nifty-looking Soulslike action RPG. The open-world MMORPG Chrono Odyssey (no relation to Chrono Trigger ) is also making an appearance. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. There's also the Kojima of it all. This event is taking place just a couple of weeks before we get our hands on the long-anticipated Death Stranding 2: On the Beach . The legendary game creator will be on-hand to discuss the title during a dedicated event on June 8, but maybe he'll pop up at the kickoff to give viewers a peek at whatever else he's been working on. However, the kickoff stream is just the beginning. The weekend is host to the Day of the Devs showcase, the Devolver Direct, Wholesome Direct and really so much more.
