A motorcyclist in his 40s has died following a collision with a truck in Co Kerry.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N69 on the Listowel side of Tarbert village, Tieraclea, Co Kerry, on Friday morning at approximately 10am.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 9:45 am and 10:15 am this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Listowel Garda Station on (068) 50820, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
Gardaí investigations are ongoing.

The force said the woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and released under investigation while inquiries continue. Officers said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital and was in a critical condition, while the driver of the car was not injured. The investigation was being led by specialist officers from the force's serious collision investigation unit, Leicestershire Police said. PC Ellise Timmins said: "Sadly this incident has left a man with serious injuries, and he is currently in hospital in a critical condition. "We are working to establish the full circumstances and as part of our enquiries we are looking to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area and saw the collision occur or has captured any dash cam footage." A man has died and a woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in a hit and run collision in Co Antrim. Another man has been arrested in connection with the incident which occurred in the Ballyeaston Road area of Ballyclare on Friday night. 'The male, aged in his 50s sadly died as a result of his injuries. 'The female, aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital for her injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. 'One male has been arrested in respect of the collision and remains in police custody.' Alliance Councillor Lewis Boyle said: 'This is a deeply shocking and sad event. 'I offer my sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, and I wish the injured woman a full and speedy recovery. 'There is a sense of shock in the wider Ballyclare community upon hearing this tragic news. 'For anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the incident, please come forward and share any information you may have with the police.'
