If you already have a smartphone, you may think you don't need a camera, but there's a certain magic found in camera-taken shots that you can't get with a mobile device. Today's best cameras have bigger and better lenses, have special photography features, and are much easier to hold and aim than your phone. Unfortunately, good cameras have a reputation for costing a lot of money. But, right now, there's a Walmart deal that drops the price of one down to less than $130, and it comes with accessories.
The NBD 4K Digital Camera is marked down to $133 right now and even has an online coupon you can apply with the click of a button to mark it down $7 more. That makes this camera, which has over 950 five-star ratings at Walmart, just $126, which is $373 off its usual $499 price.
This camera takes pictures in wonderful 4K via a 48 MP cam. It comes with a 52mm wide-angle lens and also has a 16x digital zoom. It's a DSLR, which is perfect for beginner photographers who want to progress into understanding settings better over time and capture moments with perfect clarity. The NBD 4K is also categorized as a 'vlogging camera' due to its ability to shoot film as well.
'I took this camera with me to the Caribbean, St. Thomas U. S. Virgin Islands, and was glad I did. For the most part, it is very easy to operate," one shopper said. "The added zoom lens came in handy. My photos came out looking professional, and the micro storage disc held them all. What most people, like me, got mixed up was the WiFi usage. It has its own, so you have to use it and the password provided. Connect your phone or tablet to its WiFi and you can download the photos from the camera.'Another shopper described it as an 'excellent camera for beginners.' Their review said, 'A nice starter pack for those getting into photography. The quality is good, the extra accessories are fitting for this kind of camera and not overwhelming for those that are starting.'
You won't be able to get the $499 NBD camera for $126 forever, as this is a Walmart Flash Sale offering only. If you want this camera at this great price, buy it now.

Popular Houston Mexican Restaurant Closes Abruptly
After two years in business, a local Houston Mexican restaurant closed its doors abruptly this week. Mi Tierra Mexican Kitchen shuttered on Wednesday, effective immediately. Owner Kate Mancia announced the news on social media after "after much reflection and with a heart full of mixed emotions." "This decision did not come easy. Mi Tierra was more than just a restaurant. It was a dream, a risk, a labor of love, and a huge part of my soul. It was where we poured our passion, culture, and our heart into every detail -from the recipes to the guest we welcomed through our doors," Mancia wrote. Mancia and chef Martin Weaver opened Mi Tierra in October 2023. Over time, it gained a following from loyal customers, who Mancia thanked, along with her staff, in Wednesday's final message. "Though this chapter is ending, I am proud of what Mi Tierra was and what it represented. I've learned so much through this journey ; about business, about people, and about myself," she added. "This isn't goodbye to the dream. It's just a pause, a redirection. I carry forward the good memories, the food , the flavors, and the spirit of what Mi Tierra represented wherever life takes me next." Mi Tierra customers also expressed their disappointment in the comments. "If you ever open another restaurant in a different location. We would love to come and eat again," one wrote. "So sorry to see this chapter close, but excited to see what lies ahead!" a second added. "Good luck and this is just a pause," a third chimed in. During its tenure, Mi Tierra offered a variety of Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites, as well as a raw bar, a variety of drinks and cocktails and dishes such as gochujang short rib, smoked duck carnitas in mole and a selection of small plates. Walmart heiress Christy Walton promotes "No Kings" protest in ad
Walmart heiress Christy Walton promoted a planned nationwide protest against President Trump by running a full-page advertisement that ran in the New York Times on Sunday. The ad, which notes that it was paid for by the billionaire heiress, calls on people to participate in the "No Kings" protest slated to take place across the U.S. on June 14 — the same day a military parade celebrating the Army's 250th Anniversary is set to take place in Washington, D.C. The date of the parade and protests also coincides with Mr. Trump's birthday. The ad lists eight declarations, including "WE honor our commitments and stand by our allies, WE defend against aggression by dictators, WE care for veterans and children, WE respect our neighbors and trading partners, WE support a health national and international economy, WE uphold the stability of rule of law," and more. More text is printed at the bottom of the full-page advertisement. "We are the people of the United States of America. The honor, dignity, and integrity of our country are not for sale," it reads. "Our government is of the people, by the people, for the people," the last line of the ad states. Walmart sought to distance the retail chain from Ms. Walton's ad. "The advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision-making at Walmart," the company said in a statement to CBS MoneyWatch. "Eat the tariffs" Walmart is among the major U.S. retailers that have said that Mr. Trump's tariff policies would force them to pass on added costs to customers. "We can control what we can control," Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said during the company's first-quarter earnings call last month. "Even at the reduced levels, the higher tariffs will result in higher prices," he added. Mr. Trump later warned Walmart against raising its prices, writing on social media that it should "eat the tariffs" instead. When asked about the planned protests Thursday, Mr. Trump said he did not feel like a king because "I have to go through hell to get stuff approved." What are the "No Kings" protests? A website dedicated to the protests explains that Saturday will mark "a national day of action and mass mobilization" in response to what it calls "the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration." "We've watched as they've cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political positions, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They've done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies. They think they rule — but we are bigger than even their worst aspirations," the site reads. The date of the protests was selected to reduce attention on the military parade in Washington, D.C. scheduled for June 14, the group said on the site. Hurricane season begins with no tax breaks for Floridians to stock up
Thanks to Republican infighting in Tallahassee, Floridians are on their own when it comes to stocking up as hurricane season gets underway, with no immediate sales tax holidays for supplies. Why it matters: In past years, sales tax holidays have saved families over $70 million, money that could've helped offset rising costs and motivated more people to purchase essentials. With consumers pulling back on spending nationwide, scrapping the incentive could mean fewer homes are prepared for the storms ahead. Catch up quick: The legislative session dragged into overtime because of disagreements over the state budget, with GOP lawmakers in a standoff over which tax cuts to push through. The House's recommendation didn't include sales tax holidays; the Senate's included one, which would've run from May 15 to May 31. DeSantis pitched two, each of which would've lasted two weeks. In 2024, Floridians got two 14-day tax holidays on supplies: one at the start of hurricane season and the other between August and September, its most active stretch. Yes, but: You don't need to go in unprepared. The Florida Division of Emergency Management created a disaster supplies kit checklist that includes food and water, first aid supplies, insurance documents, flashlights, batteries and medicine. State of preparedness: You can find almost everything (sans insurance documents, car keys, etc.) at your local Walmart. This year, Yacob found 30 items on the list for $226.37. (That's more than last year.) Pro tips: These items aren't all located in the same aisle or even the same general area of the store. Use the Walmart app to see the most cost-effective options and where to find them. You won't find the suggested "sturdy boots" for less than $30 at Walmart, and expect to spend a good amount on quality phone chargers, batteries and flashlights. You can purchase a first aid kit for $10.98, but buying supplies separately provides a better cost-to-quantity ratio.
