Shubhangi Atre on venturing into OTT: I've received a couple of offers…
Actor Shubhangi Atre, best known for her portrayal of Angoori Bhabhi in the popular sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, shares that while she's keen to explore the digital space, her current commitments keep her rooted in television. 'I've received a couple of OTT offers, and interestingly, all of them were thrillers,' she reveals, 'But I couldn't take them up because of my dedication to my ongoing TV show.'
Having spent nearly 18 years in the entertainment industry, Shubhangi says the desire to explore new platforms is strong.

'Bhabiji has given me everything — name, fame, love — but I'd love to do a finite OTT series, something I can balance alongside my television work,' she shares, adding, 'OTT has grown tremendously over the years, and TV actors are now being offered good projects on both digital and film platforms.'
Reflecting on the changing dynamics of the industry, she adds, 'There was a time when TV actors were seen as a notch below Bollywood stars. But things have changed. Now even big film actors are venturing into television. So yes, I'm eager to explore newer mediums.'
However, she's quick to clarify that she doesn't feel restricted by her television career.
'I don't feel stuck at all,' she asserts. 'But as an actor, I'm always looking to push boundaries. Believe me, comedy is no cakewalk. It's not just about meeting the audience's expectations — I have to meet my own too. Getting the punchline, the timing, the expressions just right takes real skill.'
The actor believes juggling television and OTT work is possible — with the right planning: 'It's all about time management. I'm a single parent, and with my daughter now settled abroad, my complete focus is on work.'

EDhadak 2 Box Office collection Day 4: Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer seems to struggle at the box office to retain momentum as it witnessed 66.27 percent drop in earnings on Monday. Following multiple delays, Shazia Iqbal directorial movie was finally released in theatres on August 1, only to witness slow start. After making descent earnings over the weekend, the Bollywood movie raked in an estimated ₹ 1.4 crore net at the domestic box office, according to film industry tracker Sacnilk. Produced under the banners Dharma Productions, Zee Studio and Cloud9 Studio, the movie opened to ₹ 3.5 crore net and ₹ 7.90 crore net over the next two days. On its first Saturday and Sunday it collected ₹ 3.75 crore and ₹ 4.15 crore respectively. Thus, during its 4-day run in theatres, the emotionally-charged movie did a business of ₹ 12.8 crore net. Even the footfalls presented a grim picture as the movie registered an overall 14.26% Hindi occupancy on August 4. During the first three days, the romantic thriller did a business of ₹ 16 crore globally, Sacnilk reported. Overseas Collection: ₹ 2.25 crore gross in 3 days IMDb description states, 'A searing romantic drama about identity, power, and the cost of love in the world we live in.' As per Bolly movie reviewz, the film was made on a budget of ₹ 60 crore. The strong narrative focused on caste and love features an ensemble cast, including Saurabh Sachdeva, Zakir Hussain, Deeksha Joshi, and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles, alongside lead actors. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who gave Dhadak 2 a 3.5 star rating, said, 'Sharp writing. Captivating, emotionally-charged second half... Solid performances. Dhadak2 works for the most part... But the love story lacks the soul-stirring soundtrack that elevated the first part.'

This was due to the concerns over communal harmony and the ongoing trial associated with the case. The film dramatises the real-life June 2022 murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. 4. Zora Zora is directed by Rajiv Rai, who is known for directing thriller films like Gupt, Mohra, Tridev and Vishwatma. It stars Ravinder Kuharas, Karanveer Khullar, Sofia Parveen and Nikhil Dewan.
