Dame Deborah James' husband's mystery woman unmasked as glam investment banker

Dame Deborah James' widower has found love with a hugely successful Swiss investment banker, with the pair making their relationship official last week
Dame Deborah James' widow has found love with a Swiss investment banker. Sebastian Bowen had stood by the broadcaster and campaigner throughout her courageous fight against bowel cancer. But Dame Deborah, who died in 2022, had made it clear to her husband she wanted him to find love after her death.
Last week, Sebastian was spotted out and about with a mystery woman as they put on a very loved-up display while enjoying the recent heatwave across the UK. He and his new girlfriend headed out in Hammersmith, west London, as they soaked up the sun and enjoyed a romantic lunch overlooking the River Thames.

Now, it's said that his new girlfriend is a very glamorous Swiss investment banker. Sebastian, 45, and his new girlfriend may have been celebrating her 39th birthday when they were spotted romantically walking alongside the river while wrapping their arms around one another.

It's reported that Sebastian has found love with Susann Aulbach, who currently works as the head of investor relations at a swanky London insurance firm. Susann, who is said to have grown up in Switzerland and lives in west London, according to the Daily Mail, looked sensational as she rocked a glamorous red dress which cut off above the knee.
Sebastian opted for a more casual look, rocking a blue casual shirt, leaving his top buttons undone, with a pair of chinos and trainers. As the couple went about their day, they looked extremely loved up as they walked hand in hand. But leading body language expert, Judi James, believes that Sebastian and Susann could have been friends before their romance blossomed.
"One of the key words that stands out from their body language together is 'relaxed'," Judi told the Mirror. She went on to add: They appear lacking in any signs of tension or anxiety, suggesting they make each other happy.
"There's no clinging or neediness here: the hand clasp shows the fingers are meshed, but the clasp itself is relaxed and quite loose. Their smiles have an element of coyness, but they are twinned smiles and appear authentic rather than the kind of social, more effortful smiles you often see when people are trying to impress each other on a first date."

Judi went on to say: "Their body language looks synchronised too, with lots of mirroring to suggest like-minded thinking. This looks like a very even-handed relationship in terms of emotions, intellect and levels of confidence, suggesting a strong friendship that might have been established before anything more romantic."
A source has since said that the pair are "very much in love" and it was "heartening" to see Sebastian, a banker with private equity firm Pomona Capital, looking happy again. Since Dame Deborah's death, he had been on a string of dates but was taking new romances "very slowly" as Deborah was a "tough act to follow".
Prior to her tragic death, the campaigner who raised more than £11million for cancer research branded her husband a "very eligible bachelor" and knew he would have attention from other women following her death. Speaking on the BBC Radio 5 Live show, You, Me And The Big C, she said: "I have given him strict instructions."
Dame Deborah went on to add: "I want him to move on. He's a handsome man, I'm like, 'Don't be taken for a ride, don't marry a bimbo, find someone else who can make you laugh like we did." But she also joked that she had a list of people she didn't want Sebastian to date. "I would do my damned hardest to haunt him," she joked.

Emmerdale's Belle Dingle star 'lets slip' new romance with telling comment

Emmerdale's Eden Taylor-Draper teased a potential new romance on the cards for her character Belle in the soap - as she's free from controlling partner Tom King Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has teased a potential new romance on the cards for her character Belle Dingle, after her marriage with abuser Tom King. The star joined Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on the This Morning sofa this morning, as she celebrates 20 years on the ITV soap. Of course, Ben and Cat couldn't let her go without questioning what's to come for the star. ‌ Eden joined Emmerdale in 2005 to play the role of Belle Dingle, taking over the role from Emily Mather, who had previously portrayed the character. At the time, Eden was just eight years old. ‌ The character Belle, however, first appeared on Emmerdale on December 25, 1998, when Lisa Dingle went into labour, unaware that she was pregnant. Ever since, fans have followed Belle's journey - most recently her harrowing abuse storyline with Tom King. She's now free from her ex-husband, who is currently serving a three-year sentence. after he was found guilty of domestic abuse and coercive control. With Tom out the way, Ben Shepard was eager to know whether we'd be seeing a new love interest for Belle, and although Belle wasn't giving anything away - it seems like she could be hinting towards one. "Life moves fast in soap land," Ben said. "She's no longer bound by this controlling partner, which means there must be love on the horizon for her at some point. Is there anything you can tell us about what's going to be happening?" ‌ Remaining coy, Eden said: "I've been in work recently, yesterday actually. I had a really fun day working with people, so yeah.... let's see." She was hesitant to give anymore away, but who could 'people' be, and could a new love interest be on the cards for Belle? Elsewhere, soap expert Sharon Marshall asked whether Belle would be the one to take John Sugden down, as she's currently looking after Cain Dingle. Responding, Eden said: "She is looking after Cain. The roles have reversed and she's trying to get him on the straight and narrow. But it's Cain, can she do it?" As she celebrates 20 years on the soap, Eden gushed to the Mirror on how much her onscreen parents Jane Cox, who played her soap mum Lisa Dingle and the late actor Steve Halliwell, who played her dad Zak Dingle, had helped her in her career. ‌ 'I have so much credit to give to Jane and Steve who played Belle's mum and dad because they were just brilliant and helped me in that environment,' says Eden. 'I'm surrounded by such talented people and it's such an honour to be able to work with them. I'm always trying to learn, I'm always trying to better myself and be, you know, very natural and also be so in it. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.

Loose Women panel fear axe from show in favour of younger co-stars

The Loose Women panellists are said to be fearing for their future amid the ITV schedule shakeup - as they believe they will be axed to make way for younger co-stars. Loose Women's panellists are said to be worried about their future on the show as younger stars "take over." There has been a constant panic backstage behind ITV's midday show, with several of its leading ladies being open about the major changes to this show, which will happen next year. Last month, ITV announced a major shift to their daytime schedules, which will affect both Loose Women and Lorraine Kelly's morning programme, Lorraine. Although the breakfast news programme, This Morning, will remain unaffected even with a large loss of viewers over the past few months. ‌ Lorraine and Loose Women will be cut to just 30 weeks of airtime throughout the year, the Mirror reports. ‌ Sources are now claiming that the older members of the Loose Women panel - Coleen Nolan, Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha, Denise Welch, Ruth Langsford and Linda Robson - feel as thought there are being left behind, with Kaye and Nadia being the only two original panellists from the shows launch in 1999. Reports suggest the oldest panellists believe they will be replaced by the younger members of the panel, GK Barry, Olivia Attwood, former singer Frankie Bridge and Stacey Solomon, who has not been on the show since 2023. The younger panellists have millions of social media followers, and use platforms like TikTok to build their following, with mum-of-five Stacey having over six million followers on Instagram alone. A source told Closer Magazine: "The other girls feel like they can't compete with Stacey's stats." ‌ The source goes on to claim that everyone on the panel is being encouraged to build their online following on platforms like TikTok, but this has been labeled as a "full-time job in itself." However, ITV bosses are reportedly telling panellists that any that is done and changed is not a personal move, but that has not gone down very well. The insider continued: "Nadia has been warning her co-stars it's not about who you are anymore, but how many followers you have." Although decisions are yet to be finalised, the source went on to state: "In the long term, it could mean a farewell to the golden oldies. Coleen has been on the show, on and off, since 2000, a quarter of a century. Viewing numbers are down, and financial cuts have been made to save the ship and there's a few that are expected to walk the plank." ‌ However, Nadia has openly spoken about the cut online. Taking to her YouTube channel, the broadcaster said: "Do you know what, at the moment, all of us on screen are at work and are proud of what we do. But behind the scenes there are people that are really suffering, and what you don't realise is when you attack the show you attack them, because you never see all the army of people behind the scenes and how hard they work." "So to all my friends and colleagues behind the scenes who have just got a huge shock out of the blue, I'm so sorry. Mark knows how upset I've been at home about it. I just can't bear it. So just be f*****g kind to people." ‌ She continued: "What people don't realise at Loose Women is that we're self-employed, I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. I could be let go tomorrow, in five years, you don't know because we're not employees." "So I can't tell you anything except I am on for my next contract. What has been brutal over the past week, and I am getting tearful about it, is that hundreds of people are going to be made redundant out of the blue." ‌ "A lot of my friends and colleagues have been there for decades and I cannot tell you how upsetting it was to see people walking around numb with shock and fear about what they are going to do. That has been so awful. It has been worse than whatever trolls have been saying about our show that we feel really protective of," she added. Speaking previously on the fears the panellists are having, a source close to the ITV show said: "We are not planning any radical changes to the panel. All of our Loose Women are hugely valued and we celebrate each and every one and the experience and opinions they bring to the show every day." "Many of our long standing panellists have appeared on the show for the majority of its 25 year run on screens and those stalwart Loose legends are at the core of the show's success and hugely popular with the audience." "The show remains a big priority within our daytime slate, having secured a BAFTA nomination, launched a podcast and celebrated a milestone anniversary in the last year alone," they concluded.

Netflix fans have less than a week to watch highest rated Rotten Tomatoes film of all time

Netflix is removing one of the highest rated movies of all time which movie fans won't want to miss before it's gone. Netflix fans have been warned that one perfect scoring film is leaving the streaming platform in just a few days time. Leave No Trace has snagged a 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes but viewers have less than a week to watch the film before its taken off the streaming platform on June 30. The 2018 film follows a father and his teenage daughter who live deep in a municipal forest in Portland, Oregon and need to rely on survival skills to make it through their day to day lives. However, after they are seen by a member of public, their world is turned upside down as they are suddenly dragged back into the real world. ‌ Will, played by Ben Foster, suffers from PTSD after serving in the armed forces and he and his daughter, Tom, played by Thomasin McKenzie, struggle as they try to adapt to normal life. The movie follows their tumultuous journey after being discovered by authorities living off the grid, exploring their relationship and love itself, without becoming overly sentimental. ‌ Directed by Debra Granik, Leave No Trace was the highly anticipated follow-up to Winter's Bone, which featured Jennifer Lawrence in her breakout role, and was released eight years before in 2010, the Mirror reports. Granik also scored another impressive 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes for her documentary Stray Dogs about dog lover, motorbiker and veteran Ron Hall. Granik's double achievement is highly admirable considering the 100 per cent approval rating does not come around often. In fact only 68 films can claim the honour and when you think about how many movies exist, it makes the accolade that much more impressive. ‌ Only two titles from 2024 have made the list including All We Imagine as Light by Payal Kapadia, and Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Other famous films that have managed to snag a perfect score include Toy Story, Two Story Two, 12 Angry Men, Before Sunrise, Singin' in the Rain, Cool Hand Luke, The Terminator and Pinocchio. Leave No Trace has 252 reviews and they were all positive with one critic writing: "Leave No Trace, in the biggest of ironies, leaves the greatest of traces upon us." ‌ Join the Daily Record's WhatsApp community here an d get the latest news sent straight to your messages Another penned: "Leave No Trace is further evidence Granik is one of the most talented directors around - and Ben Foster ranks among the finest and most intense actors working today." A third remarked about the film: "Granik is one of the most distinctive filmmaking voices we have; I'd love to see her make more features but I'm also glad she takes the time to do them right." Leave No Trace is set to leave Netflix in just a few days time so viewers need to be fast if they want to catch the film before it goes.
