The BBC has now confirmed that Celebrity Traitors will hit television screens in October as Claudia Winkleman welcomes a group of famous faces to the Scottish castle
The BBC has revealed when Celebrity Traitors is set to hit our screens.

The phenomenally successful reality programme fronted by Claudia Winkleman has captivated audiences worldwide, with the British version now firmly established as a cornerstone of the BBC's yearly schedule.

A celebrity variant has now been recorded featuring famous faces rather than ordinary members of the public, and viewers won't have to wait much longer to witness the backstabbing begin.

During the Edinburgh TV Festival 2025, Syeda Irtizaali, Interim BBC Director of Unscripted, revealed that the series would launch in October 2025.
She said, "I was worried about how they were going to play it compared to members of the public, but we have nothing to worry about.

"Some of the things you'll see them doing are extraordinary.", reports the Mirror.
The celebrity-packed roster for the famous faces edition was already announced, featuring actor Stephen Fry, actor Mark Bonnar, comedian Lucy Beaumont, content creator Niko Omilana, comedian Nick Mohammed, EastEnders star Tameka Empson, singer Paloma Faith, Olympian Tom Daley, and actor Ruth Codd.
Additionally, singer Cat Burns, comedian Alan Carr, singer Charlotte Church, actor Celia Imrie, broadcaster Clare Balding, historian David Olusoga, former England rugby player Joe Marler, comedian Joe Wilkinson, broadcaster Kate Garraway, and TV presenter Jonathan Ross.

The BBC has also previously announced that the main Traitors series will return for its fourth series in early 2026, probably maintaining its traditional winter broadcasting slot.
Speaking about what fans can anticipate from Celebrity Traitors, host Claudia revealed: "We're incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes.
"I'd love to say we'll take it easy on them and they'll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie."
We're accustomed to seeing Faithfuls and Traitors battling it out for themselves or their loved ones, but in this series, the celebrities will engage in the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, all with the aim of securing a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

As the pair exchange their vows, Billy declares: "I fell in love with how you make me feel... However...." ‌ In dramatic footage, several brides appear to be overcome with emotion. The reason behind their tears, however, will be revealed in next week's finale. In other Love Is Blind news, Scottish contestant Katisha broke down in tears in a recent episode, saying she 'didn't want to be the villain.' ‌ Dumfries nanny and makeup artist Katisha and Kent local health coach Javen admitted they hadn't said 'I love you' yet when hosts Matt and Emma Willis interviewed the couples ahead of their return to the UK. In the episode before, viewers had seen a tense confrontation between Katisha and Wigan contestant Kal, who questioned her decision to choose Javen as her fiance despite growing very close to another contestant, Demola. In the end, viewers were shocked to see Katisha leave and break off the engagement. Love Is Blind UK season 2 is streaming on Netflix. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
