Travis Kelce's quirky habit on Happy Gilmore 2 set revealed by producer
Travis Kelce reportedly made sure he got in his beauty sleep in between takes of the Happy Gilmore 2. The NFL star joined a host of famous faces making cameos in the long-awaited sequel to Adam Sandler 's 1996 golf cult classic, joining the likes of Bad Bunny, world No 1 Scottie Scheffler and Eminem. And while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end may be used to taking the hits on the football field, it appears a film set is just as taxing. Chad Mumm, a co-producer on the movie and 'Full Swing' executive, revealed that the three-time Super Bowl winner would constantly sneak in naps throughout a day on set for the hit comedy. 'The only thing he had in his trailer was this massive like Eight Sleep bed and he would literally like go take a nap after filming,' Mumm said of Kelce on his Vanity Index podcast with Bachelor Nation alum Wells Adams. 'He'd film a scene and then everyone would go to lunch,' he added. 'And instead of lunch he would just take an hour long nap and then he would go, come back, film again. Then go back to sleep.' Mumm, who has worked on Netflix's behind-the-scenes golf series for three seasons, also revealed that he was responsible for bringing 27 professional golfers to set, admitting he only missed out on two names: Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. Kelce shared the screen with musician Bad Bunny, interacting with some of the biggest names in golf, including Xander Schauffele, Nick Faldo and the legendary Jack Nicklaus, as he played his role as a clubhouse waiter to perfection. And Sandler, who reprised his role as the titular character, had nothing but praise for both Kelce and the rapper at the film's New York City premiere. 'They were both so confident and so funny. They're gonna go on and do whatever the hell they want,' Sandler told The Hollywood Reporter of the pair. 'But I'd love to do something with them again, because I got very friendly with them, and I love them both.' Kelce had long been excited about his cameo in the film and producer Jack Giarraputo revealed to Daily Mail last week that it wasn't hard to lure him to set. 'Different cameos came in different ways,' Giarraputo said. 'With Travis, he was wearing the hat around and saying, "I heard there's a sequel, I want to be in it!" So that was helpful,' he continued. 'Adam saw Bad Bunny on SNL and thought, "He's funny, we should put him in the movie." While Kelce couldn't attend the premiere due to NFL preseason kicking off, he still made sure to host a screening of the film from training camp. Kelce debuted the Netflix comedy hit to his Chiefs teammates at Missouri Western State University. Kelce greeted attendees of the casual event with 'Happy Gilmore' merch and could be seen holding a putter before the movie started, in a video posted by the Chiefs to X. It wasn't long before Kelce's teammates saw him on screen and were left delighted by his performance. The screening was also attended by motivational speaker Damon West , a reformed crime boss who was invited by coach Andy Reid to speak with the team. West posed with Reid, Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a photo which he later posted to social media.

Haunting Netflix true-crime series about 'Satanic cult' killer races up chart
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A 'fascinating' true-crime series about one of the most notorious serial-killers in history has soared up the rankings on Netflix. Mixing present-day interviews with previously unheard recordings, Conversations with a Killer: The Son of Sam Tapes examines David Berkowitz's mark on 1970s New York. Now 72, Berkowitz carried out a murderous 13-month rampage in the American city between 1976 and 1977, during which he killed six women and wounded eleven others. Armed with a .44 Special calliber revolver for most of his crimes, eventually he was arrested in August 1977 for eight shootings. He confessed to them all and was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences in 1978. Now, Netflix's new three-part series features audio of past interviews the killer did with Rochester Democrat and Chronicle journalist Jack Jones. It also contains a new interview with Berkowitz, who is serving a life sentence in upstate New York. As well as this, victims' loved ones and researchers shed light on this period in New York history. Reacting to the series on X, many fans have highlighted the new information it provides. @maoshisa1981 described it as a 'fascinating listen', adding: 'The unreleased Berkowitz recordings sound like a chilling deep dive into the case.' Meanwhile, @CriticSusan added: 'Conversations with a Killer: The Son of Sam Tapes may be one of their best true crime docu-series. @Netflix.' Towards the beginning of the series, viewers are shown how the Bronx native was adopted in 1953 before he became the '.44 Caliber Killer' and 'Son of Sam' due to the signature he left on letters at crime scenes and sent to media outlets. When Berkowitz was finally arrested and put on trial, he claimed his neighbor's dog, Sam, was possessed by a demon and commanded him to kill. But, in an interview from 1980 we hear how Berkowitz fabricated this story to create confusion and manipulate the media and law enforcement. A character playing Berkowitz also featured in another Netflix series by David Fincher called Mindhunter, which ran for two seasons. In June it was teased that the rudely axed series could be getting a Hollywood makeover for a film revival. There is a potential to bring back the show as not only one movie but an entire trilogy, with creator Fincher carefully vetting the scripts. More Trending Holt McCallany, who starred as FBI special agent Bill Tench, recently spoke to the Fight Club director. 'I had a meeting with David Fincher in his office a few months ago, and he said to me that there is a chance that it may come back as three two-hour movies, but I think it's just a chance,' he told CBR. 'I know there are writers that are working, but you know, David has to be happy with scripts.' View More » Conversations with a Killer: The Son of Sam Tapes is available to watch on Netflix. Anthony Joshua needed just three words when first asked about Jake Paul
Despite being very complimentary of Paul, it seems as if Joshua may face off against the YouTuber-turned-boxer in the ring next year Anthony Joshua showed his class when he was first asked about YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul four years ago. The pair met for the first time in Dubai three years ago and seemed rather cordial with each other. Paul had just started to make big waves in the sport of boxing and - after defeating former UFC champion Anderson Silva - decided to take a little holiday to the Middle East. As for Joshua, the Brit was in Dubai for training and a holiday. The YouTuber-turned-boxer trained with Joshua's friend Lawrence Okolie, and later played laser tag with the ex-champion. A year prior to their meeting, 'AJ' was asked for his thoughts about Paul and insisted he's 'great for boxing.' '[He's] great for boxing", the heavyweight said during an interview with IFL TV. "He's trying, zero amateur experience, throwing himself in the deep end. He'll probably learn a lot more than a lot of fighters, throwing himself in the deep end, putting himself under pressure. Good luck to him.' Recalling the meeting in Dubai, Paul said: "To me that means the most when the legends of the sport are like 'this kid's legit and what he's doing for the sport is great'. It's easy to get lost in the comments and in the sheep hating on you. But then there's guys like Roy Jones Jr, Evander Holyfield, Tyson, all these legends showing love. Even Tyson Fury, current active champions, or Anthony Joshua. I was just with him and he was singing praises; that to me means more [than online hate]. I haven't really seen [many boxing legends badmouth him]. Which I guess is kind of the tell-tale sign; if your peers respect you then that's the most important." Three years on from their link-up, the pair have now discussed a potential fight. Back in March, Joshua called the young American after the latter claimed he could beat him in a dust-up. Both fighters posted images of the phone call with the caption 2026, teasing a potential clash sometime next year. Initially, reports claimed that the pair would trade leather towards the back end of 2026. That said, Paul's promoter and business partner - Nakisa Bidarian - recently revealed that he is having discussions with Eddie Hearn and that the clash could happen a lot sooner than anticipated. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I think the fight can absolutely happen. I'm looking at it as Jake versus Joshua, which is quite biblical, and it's quite impactful in many ways. I think size wise, we can get comfortable with it, and I think experience wise, Jake is learning very fast and growing, and Joshua is a little long in the tooth. So it could be a very interesting matchup, and we're actively discussing it with Matchroom. "I think we're looking at it happening at the start of 2026. It's public that AJ was taking a little time away, I think he had a little surgery. So once he's ready, and once Jake is ready, we're going to squarely focus on that. It's a fight that Jake wants to do, and that's a discussion we've had at length, and he feels very confident about where he is in his career and his chances of upsetting Anthony Joshua." When is Jake Paul's next fight? Paul is hoping to remain active following his dominant win over former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Days after the victory, the 'Problem Child' was placed in the WBC's cruiserweight rankings. The 28-year-old's promoter revealed his business partner is keen on fighting for a world title 'as soon as possible'. However, he admits it is likely it won't happen next, given the current standings at 200lbs. "Absolutely [he will fight again this year]. November or December," Bidarian told Ariel Helwani when asked about Paul's next steps. "I'm seeing him tonight for dinner, and we will have a conversation [about his next opponent]. The only possibility right now is that Jake wants to fight for a belt as soon as possible. "I have to talk to him, I think it's tough this year [to box for a world title]. Badou Jack is who he wants to fight more than anyone, and he has a mandatory rematch with the guy he just beat [Noel Mikaelian] for the WBC. I don't know if this year is possible [for the title fight], but we'll see."
