Shraddha Kapoor's ‘Ghummakad mode' is on, shares pictures from her day out
Actress Shraddha Kapoor turned on her 'ghummakad' mode as she travelled to several places like the museum and a renowned Parsi restaurant in Mumbai. Shraddha took to her Instagram, where she shared a string of pictures from her visit to the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, the oldest museum in Mumbai, which was originally established in 1855 as a treasure house of the decorative and industrial arts. The images had Shraddha posing in the museum and with the flowers she received.
The actress also shared a few glimpses from her visit to the Parsi restaurant Britannia & Co., which was established in 1923. The 'Stree' star posed with the owner and shared pictures of the caramel custard she had, along with the interiors of the restaurant. For the caption, she wrote: 'Next picnic kahan jaoon ??? #GhummakadModeOn.'
On the professional front, reports claim that Shraddha will be joining hands with 'Tumbbad' maker Rahi Anil Barve for her next. Going by the reports, she has signed a multi-film contract with producer Ektaa Kapoor, who will also back the untitled drama. In addition to this, details regarding Shraddha's other untitled drama with Ektaa were also doing rounds on social media. This yet-to-be-titled movie is expected to mark the reunion of the beloved 'Aashiqui 2' pair of Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
However, an official confirmation is still awaited. Furthermore, it is being reported that Shraddha is in talks for the forthcoming installment of the popular 'Dhoom' franchise. The reports also suggest that she will be seen sharing the screen with her 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' co-star Ranbir Kapoor in her next. Again, no official announcement has been made till now. She was last seen on screen in the 2024 film 'Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank,' a comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik. It is the fourth instalment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and serves as the sequel to the movie Stree, which released in 2018.
Meanwhile, veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure recently opened up about the thoughtful approach her niece, Shraddha Kapoor, takes when selecting film roles. According to Padmini, the 'Stree' actress doesn't make decisions in isolation; instead, she carefully considers advice from her close family members before finalizing her choices.
Speaking to IANS, Padmini shared that Shraddha often discusses potential projects with her mother, Shivangi Kolhapure; sister, Tejaswini, father Shakti Kapoor, and even Padmini herself. She mentioned that this collective support system helps the young actress weigh the pros and cons of each opportunity.
Padmini revealed that despite taking input from her family, Shraddha ultimately trusts her own instincts. The 'Vidhaata' actress shared, 'Advice, in the sense Shraddha discusses. Fatima clears misconception about Anurag Basu not working with a script
Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is clearing some misconceptions about filmmaker Anurag Basu. The actress has reunited with Anurag for the second time for the upcoming film, 'Metro... In Dino' having collaborated with him earlier in 'Ludo.' The actress recently spoke with IANS, and shared her experience of working with him, and what goes on the sets of an Anurag Basu film as the day unfolds. She also clarified that Anurag does work with a script by his side. Speaking with IANS, Fatima said, 'I love working with him. Actually, there is a misunderstanding. He's a very organised person. When you're on set, your entire day goes by in 5-6 hours. You never shoot overtime. He's so fast. He can easily shoot 4-5 big scenes in a day, which is very tough for people, especially in big films where the cast is also big'. The actress further mentioned that Anurag is highly productive, and knows what he wants, as she said, 'It takes a long time, but he's highly productive. He knows his shots. He doesn't waste time figuring out. He knows what he wants'. Years ago, Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor had claimed in a podcast with comedy collective AIB that Anurag works sans scripts in his films, as he shared his experience of working with him in 'Barfi' and 'Jagga Jasoos.' However, Fatima's account differs from what Ranbir experienced as an actor in 'Barfi' and as actor-producer in 'Jagga Jasoos.' When asked if Anurag comes fully-prepared, the actress told IANS, 'I think he's more than fully-prepared. I think he's just too instinctive. Also because he comes early, he does the blocking, he performs on his own. People don't see that. For actors to come, and just fully surrender, learn the lines, and do everything that they're doing, at that moment, for that, everything else has to be perfect. It's never like the actors come, and there's lighting, or figuring out, or blocking. It's never like that. He's always 100% ready. And there's space to explore'. 'It's not possible that a director doesn't know what he wants to make or that there is no script. It's impossible because you cannot make a film like 'Barfi' or 'Jagga Jasoos'. It's highly technical in that way. To make that world, and to make it so realistic, if you do not have a clear vision, you cannot make that possible', she added.
