The UFC heads to the Middle East once again, this time to Abu Dhabi inside Etihad Arena for a massive fight card.
Fresh off the back of an awesome pay-per-view card, fans can put their credit cards away and enjoy some free TV on ABC, beginning at 3 p.m. ET Saturday.
Twelve fights are on the docket, with eight of them projected to end inside the distance, according to oddsmakers.
Last week was our best betting week of the year thus far, nailing a +880 bet and a +425 wager and nearly sweeping the main card.
The insane 5-1 showing on the main card last week profited 18.1 units and nabbed us an insane ROI of 301.67 percent. You don't get that every week, but that might be a career best for me.
Robert Whittaker vs. Reinier de Ridder
Whittaker might not get back into the title picture with a win, but they're certainly feeding him to a young lion as he faces former ONE Championship fighter Reinier de Ridder.
De Ridder comes in as a +140 underdog Saturday night and is coming off a surprising win over a hyped middleweight prospect in Bo Nickal.
In that fight, de Ridder was a +300 underdog and looked like a -1000 favorite.
Do we think that this was a case of de Ridder taking advantage of an overhyped prospect? Or was Nickal a worthy opponent that de Ridder proved to be too much for?
It's a tough question to answer, but given everything we know, de Ridder is a strong grappler who will have a towering size advantage in the octagon.
This fight reminds me of when Whittaker fought Dricus du Plessis, a bigger, stronger athlete, where he sneakily could sneakily have an advantage in the grappling department.
For this fight, we're targeting Over 2.5 rounds. Whittaker is a superstar, but not a worthy bet at this price, and would need to get closer to even for me to consider him.
Pick: Over 2.5 rounds (-125, BetMGM).
Petr Yan vs. Marcus McGhee
Another legend heads into a tough matchup with an underdog as McGhee jumps into the octagon with Yan.
Yan, a former bantamweight champion currently No. 3 in the world in the division, per Tapology, deserves some credit for accepting this fight against the No. 12 fighter in the division.
This fight is a three rounds, not five, a detail that is critical for Yan.
Petr Yan works out for fans and media during the UFC Fight Night Open Workouts at Yas Mall on July 23, 2025 in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Zuffa LLC
You'll remember that Yan lost his fight to striker Sean O'Malley, which was a three-round bout. Yan's best asset is his cardio, so if he's able to tire his opponent (McGhee has never been five rounds), he will likely come out with a victory.
McGhee getting this fight as a three-rounder is a big opportunity for him.
The 35-year-old bantamweight is looking to get into the title picture and I like this matchup for him. He's an athletic striker with some ground game chops as well. Take a stab on the underdog in this fight, at least pre-fight.
Feel free to look for a Yan live entry during round two if he looks sluggish early. He's a notoriously slow starter, so there's certainly an opportunity to get his price reduced early on in this five-round bout.
Pick: McGhee moneyline (+300, Caesars).

Rest of the card
Shara Magomedov vs. Marc-Andre Barriault: Over 1.5 rounds (-160, FanDuel).
Asu Almabayev vs. Jose Ochoa: Amabayev Over 27.5 significant strikes (-121); Ochoa Over 46.5 significant strikes (-121, Underdog Fantasy).
Nikita Krylov vs. Bogdan Guskov: Over 1.5 rounds (+125, Fanatics Sportsbook).
Bryce Mitchell vs. Said Nurmagomedov: Mitchell by submission (+500, DraftKings).
Muslim Salikhov vs. Carlos Leal: Pass.
Davey Grant vs. Da'Mon Blackshear: Blackshear by submission (+210, ESPN BET).
Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci: Ribas by KO/TKO (22/1, Bet365).
Ibo Aslan vs. Billy Elekana: Over 1.5 rounds (+100, ESPN BET).
Mohammad Yahya vs. Steven Nguyen: Pass.
Martin Buday vs. Marcus Buchecha: Buday moneyline (+220, BetMGM).

One International Game Every Year for Each NFL Team is on 'The Horizon'

Could an increase in international regular-season games a year be in the near future for the NFL? It's certainly a possibility. In fact, an "international game every year for every team" is "probably on the horizon," according to Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, per NBC Sports. Blank's comments during an interview at Falcons training camp on Saturday come months after league commissioner Roger Goodell said last fall that the NFL wants to stage 16 international games per year. The league is limited to a maximum of 10 international games per year under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, but that number is reportedly widely expected to increase to 16 in the next labor deal. With 32 NFL teams, that would be a big lift for the league to schedule that many international games every season. In May, the league announced the full matchups for all but one game in its record seven-game international slate, which includes the Minnesota Vikings playing back-to-back games in different European countries (Ireland and England). The one matchup that hasn't been announced is who the Los Angeles Chargers will play in Week 1 in Brazil. The current schedule is: Week 1 (Friday, Sept. 5): TBD vs. Chargers at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil (Time TBD) Week 4 (Sunday, Sept. 28): Vikings vs. Steelers at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 5 (Sunday, Oct. 5): Vikings vs. Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 6 (Sunday, Oct. 12): Broncos vs. Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 7 (Sunday, Oct. 19): Rams vs. Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 10 (Sunday, Nov. 9): Falcons vs. Colts at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 11 (Sunday, Nov. 16): Commanders vs. Dolphins in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain (9:30 a.m. ET) Want great stories delivered right to your inbox? Mick Maynard's Shoes: What's next for Reinier de Ridder after UFC on ABC 9 win?

Reinier de Ridder is in a strong position in the middleweight division after beating a former UFC champion for the first time in Robert Whittaker on Saturday at UFC on ABC 9. De Ridder (20-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) got the split decision nod over Whittaker (26-9 MMA, 17-7 UFC) at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, to continue his whirlwind run since joining the organization in September. The former two-division ONE Championship titleholder has met every challenge matchmakers have put in front of him, and with the 185-pound title on the line between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev in the UFC 319 headliner on Aug. 16 in Chicago, he's among the frontrunners to face the winner. Should de Ridder get a title shot off the back of beating Whittaker in a decision that some felt was unjust? Watch the video above for thoughts and analysis on his future after UFC on ABC 9.

How to watch 2025 IMSA Road America on Peacock: Streaming info, start times and daily schedules

Acura will try to maintain a two-month win streak in the Grand Touring Prototype category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. After wins at Detroit (the No. 93 ARX-06) and Watkins Glen International (the No. 60 ARX-06), the Meyer Shank Racing Acuras will return with IMSA's premier division at Road America — where the manufacturer is winless since a 2022 repave. But Tom Blomqvist, who won at Watkins Glen with co-driver Colin Braun, is optimistic after a strong test at the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. 'I'd say it's probably my favorite track from an enjoyment level to drive,' Blomqvist said. 'I think also we're lucky that it's a great track for our car. It really brings out the strengths. 'In the past, it's always been a strong track for us, so I don't see a reason why it's not going to be again. I think we we've really made good gains as a team as well. Every race we're kind of getting better with the new organization, as there's a lot of new faces and new people. I feel like we're just getting stronger. So, yeah, I think we're hopeful that we can fight for the victory again next weekend.' After taking the 2024 season off, MSR has returned to full-time competition with heavier involvement from Honda Racing Corporation in the strategy and engineering of its No. 93 ARX-06. Acura's winning run has interrupted a strong start for Porsche Penske Motorsport, which won the first four races this season (most recently in mid-May at Laguna Seca) and still maintains a healthy lead in the championship standings. Full-time manufacturers BMW and Cadillac are seeking their first GTP wins in 2025. The GTP category has been on a six-week layoff since mid-June at Watkins Glen and returns for the only sprint race that will feature all four divisions of the SportsCar Championship. It's also the last two-hour, 40-minute race for a while at Road America, whose event will increase to six hours next year. Last year, Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy combined for a win in the No. 6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963. Jaminet remains in the No. 6 with Matt Campbell, and Tandy is paired with Felipe Nasr in the No. 7, which leads the points.
