Amy Samir Ghanem and Hassan El Raddad Welcome Second Child

Yara Sameh
Egyptian actress Amy Samir Ghanem and her husband, actor Hassan El Raddad welcomed their second baby.
El Raddad shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, saying: 'We welcomed a beautiful girl called Fadya,'.
He also shared a photo of him holding his baby's hand.
The child was name after El Raddad's late mother.
In a March 9 interview with "
Al Kahera Wal Nas
" TV Channel, he announced Ghanem was four months pregnant, adding they were keen to keep the baby news a secret for a long time to avoid envy.
"There is a difference in dealing with pregnancy announcements in different societies," he explained. "In some countries, couples announce pregnancy from the very start while in the Arab world, some prefer to keep the matter secret for a while,".
El Raddad also opened up about his opinion on posting photos on social media of his first child Fady, whom they welcomed in January 2023 and named after his late brother.
The 41-year-old actor noted that he prefers not to reveal the toddler's face and is satisfied with sharing snaps that do not show his features, emphasizing that the decision is a "Personal freedom that needs to be respected".
El Raddad reflected on parenting and the impact of fatherhood on him and stated that he has become more thoughtful about how to raise his child and protect him from the negative things he may face in life.
"A father needs vision and insight to guide his children toward the right path and keep them away from any negative influences," he said.
El Raddad noted that he has been accustomed to bearing responsibility throughout his life, but the responsibility of children is completely different and requires deep thinking to ensure that they are raised properly.
He added: "I hope that God will grant me the ability to raise my son in the right way. Focusing on proper upbringing is essential, and everything God provides us with is good and a blessing."

Nour Arida is the First Arab Woman to Book a Audemars Piguet Campaign

Model & Lifestyle Influencer Nour Arida Joins Serena Williams in Audemars Piguet Campaign. May 31, 2025 When Audemars Piguet picked the faces for its 150th anniversary campaign, it chose icons. Nour Arida was the only Arab woman among them. In the world of luxury watchmaking, Arab women aren't often on the moodboard. But this year, that changed. For its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet didn't just call in the usual faces - it summoned a lineup of global icons. Serena Williams. Winnie Harlow. Tamara Kalinic. And, for the first time ever, an Arab woman: Nour Arida. Draped in AP's legacy, the Lebanese model-slash-creative-slash-cultural force owned the frame. 'I always try to push boundaries,' Arida says, in what might be the understatement of the year. 'It's like being part of a real family, being part of the AP family.'

Taylor Swift Buys Back Master Recordings

Rana Atef On Friday, Taylor Swift announced that she bought back the rights to her first six albums, ending a long-running battle over the ownership of her music. She announced the news on her official website. She posted: "All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me," adding, "I've been bursting into tears of joy... ever since I found out this is really happening." In June 2019, Swift's manager Scooter Braun bought Swift's former record label Big Machine and, with it, all of the songs from Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation. Swift had personal objections to the deal, blaming Braun for complicity in the "incessant, manipulative bullying" against her by Kanye West, one of his clients. Therefore, she re-recorded her previous albums to control their rights. She recorded and released 4 of the 6 albums: Fearless, Red, 1987, and Speak Now. Swift continued in her statements: "To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it," she added, thanking fans for their support. "I can't thank you enough for helping to reunite me with this art that I have dedicated my life to, but have never owned until now. "I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away," she described. "But that's all in the past now." read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks
