Aamir Khan leases four luxury apartments for Rs 24.5 lakh per month, is Shah Rukh Khan's temporary neighbour
According to property registration documents accessed via Zapkey.com, the actor has signed a five-year lease, from May 2025 to May 2030. The lock-in period is agreed at 45 months. The agreement also includes a security deposit of over Rs 1.46 crore, a stamp duty of Rs 4 lakh, and a registration fee of Rs 2,000. The documents also state that the rent will increase 5% annually.
Like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan has also shifted to a temporary location due to the redevelopment of his residential building. The PK actor owns multiple apartments in Virgo Housing Society, which is undergoing redevelopment. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the developers plan to launch an ultra-luxury project with apartments priced at over Rs 1 lakh per sq ft, replacing the existing structure. The housing society is located in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill locality of Bandra. The report states that Aamir owns 12 apartments in the society and will receive a new set of units once the redevelopment is complete.
Aamir's temporary accommodation is located at Wilnomona Apartment, Pali Hill, Mumbai. It is just 750 metres away from Puja Casa, where Shah Rukh Khan and his family are currently residing. They moved there as their iconic home Mannat is undergoing construction and an additional floor is being added to the house.
According to an earlier report, Shah Rukh Khan had leased two duplex apartments in Puja Casa for a staggering Rs 2.9 crore per year, with the monthly rent amounting to Rs 24 lakh for the four floors. It is also to be noted that the apartments in the Puja Casa building are owned by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, and their father, producer Vashu Bhagnani.
The Bandra and Pali Hill areas of Mumbai house some of the biggest names in Hindi cinema. Apart from Aamir and Shah Rukh, stars like Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Rekha also have homes in the area. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, along with their daughter Dua, will also be moving into their luxurious new sea-facing quadruplex apartment on Bandra Bandstand.

Mani Ratnam in plans to make a love story with Dhruv Vikram!
Celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam is set to direct Dhruv Vikram, son of versatile star Chiyaan Vikram, in his next project, according to industry sources. Insiders reveal that the film will be a simple, heartfelt Chennai-based love drama revolving around a cop. 'It's a love story between a police officer and a city girl,' a source shared. Unlike recent big-budget ventures, this project will be made purely in Tamil. However, post-release, the team plans to dub it in Telugu and Hindi to reach a wider audience. Music for the film will be composed by none other than global music legend A.R. Rahman, marking yet another collaboration with Mani Ratnam. Acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran will handle the visuals, promising a rich cinematic experience. Production is expected to commence in September 2025, with filming planned to wrap up within 60 days by February 2026. Interestingly, reports suggest this will be the most modestly budgeted film of Mani Ratnam's career, focusing on strong storytelling over scale. Rukmini Vasanth, currently making waves with her role in NTR and Prashanth Neel's action entertainer Dragon, has been roped in as the female lead. With this collaboration, fans can expect an emotionally engaging romance laced with Mani Ratnam's signature storytelling flair.

Not Rupali Ganguly or Dilip Joshi, Smriti Irani is TV's highest-paid actor with Rs 14 lakh per episode for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2
Smriti Irani is back to acting with the second season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actress was reported to be charging a hefty payment of Rs 14 lakh per episode, becoming the highest-paid TV actor in India. Reacting to the reports, Smriti Irani herself has confirmed such remuneration. Smriti Irani confirms becoming highest paid actor on small screen In a latest chat with CNN News18, Smriti Irani admitted that she is getting the record-breaking-paycheck while highlighting how she earned it with a lot of hard work and delivering on TRP numbers. The actress said, 'You also set that benchmark as a professional to say that if you deliver on history on numbers and revenue, why not? Because not everybody who's watching us knows we get to negotiate our contracts as employees.' Smriti Irani proudly said that not only pay-parity, she has beaten the boys and girls. 'I'm a part of a union, so the first thing I do is actually have my union number registered. We all are part of a larger organisation and flow of work. For one person to stand up and say "listen, not only pay parity, I beat the boys and the girls and how much I make that is a lot of hard work," she added. Smriti Irani, who is playing the lead role of Tulsi Virani in Kyonki, further underlined that she is capable of making stars out of others who are working with her. She said, 'The idea is, are you truly the star or do you have the professional capacity to make stars around you? I think that I have actually, mercifully, had the capacity of making stars out of others who are with me. If there is a Tulsi, then Amar Upadhyay quintessentially creates his own market. So do you become that pivot, that sounding board, that other actors then can enhance their economic value? That I have managed to do through the project, so my co-stars today can say, 'Oh, we are a part of that.'' Smriti Irani beats contemporaries Rupaly Ganguly, Dilip Joshi and Hina Khan For the unversed, Smriti Irani has surpassed Rupali Ganguly, Dilip Joshi, and Hina Khan's remunerations to emerge as the highest paid actor on the small screen. While Ganguly charges around Rs 3 lakh per episode for Anupama, Dilip Joshi and Hina Khan charge around Rs 1.5-2 lakh per episode. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

‘Jatadhara' teaser: Sudheer Babu, Sonakshi Sinha's face-off
The much-awaited teaser of Jatadhara, a Telugu–Hindi bilingual starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha, has been unveiled by Rebel Star Prabhas, offering a first look into its intense mythic world. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the film is being produced on a lavish scale by Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Shivin Narang, and Nikhil Nanda. The teaser hints at a high-stakes battle between greed and sacrifice, with Sonakshi Sinha embodying the demonic goddess Dhanapisachini — a chilling force driven by greed — and Sudheer Babu portraying a selfless warrior representing sacrifice. The narrative carries a strong spiritual undercurrent, culminating in a visually arresting sequence featuring the divine entry of Lord Shiva. Breaking away from conventional hero–heroine dynamics, Jatadhara showcases Sudheer Babu in a striking makeover, his intense physical transformation adding gravitas to the role. Sonakshi, meanwhile, commands the frame with an imposing screen presence and intricate character design. Notably, the teaser contains no dialogue, relying entirely on visuals, evocative cinematography, and a pulsating background score to deliver its impact. High-end VFX work and grand production values further elevate the presentation. Jatadhara is slated for a pan-India release, with its official release date to be announced soon.
