Extreme Festival thrills at Aldo Scribante Raceway
Defending champion Clinton Seller silenced his critics by opting to start at the back of the grid for both heats in the 21-rider field, and in race one went from the back of the grid to crossing the start/finish line in the lead on the opening lap and storming to the race win by more than six seconds.
He repeated this in race two winning by 8.6 seconds, with Graeme van Breda in second overall, followed by Lamb in third.
Keegan Campos won the opening SA Touring Car race from pole position in his BMW 328tc, followed by the Toyota Corolla of Michael van Rooyen in second, with Julian van der Watt in his VW in third place.
With race two being a reverse grid start, Saood Variawa in his Toyota Corolla took the win, followed by teammate van Rooyen and then the Campos BMW in third.
In the SATC SupaCup class, Tate Bishop proved to be in a league of his own, storming to a double victory and has now won five out of the season's six races thus far.
Jonathan Mogotsi finished in second place overall, with Charl Visser in third.
Mohammed Karodia won both of the Astron Energy Polo Cup heats, with Charl Smalberger taking second place overall and impressive Volkswagen Rookie Cup Champion Judd Bertholdt filling third place for the day, with Wayne Masters and John Kruger sharing out the Astron Energy Masters wins.
Single seater star Jason Coetzee cruised to another two Toyota Gazoo Racing Cup wins ahead of GR86 Rookie rivals Mbuso Ngwenya and Justin Rogers in both races.
Mario de Sousa won both GR Corolla Dealer wins from Werner Venter and Riaan De Ru in race one and ahead of Paul de Vos and Venter in the second.
Nabil Abdool took both the GR Yaris Media wins from Phuti Mpyane in second and Kyle Kock in third.
The next round of the National Extreme Festival takes place at Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria on Saturday June 21.

The Eastern Areas Bowling Association hosted a highly successful Ladies Mini Districts Tournament at Port Alfred Bowling Club at the weekend, drawing together seven districts from across the Eastern Cape for three days of thrilling competition. Keshav Maharaj ‘relieved to tick the box' after picking up first ODI five-for
Maharaj took 5/33, delivering a superb spell of spin bowling for the Proteas in the series opener against Australia. Nine years after making his international debut in Australia, spin bowler Keshav Maharaj felt he had come full circle after securing career-best ODI figures on Tuesday, leading South Africa to a crushing 98-run victory over Australia in Cairns. Maharaj, who played his first Test against Australia in Perth in November 2016, has since earned five-wicket and 10-wicket hauls in the longest format. His return of 5/33 on Tuesday, however, was his maiden 'five-for' in the ODI format. The experienced spinner produced a remarkable spell to take the match away from Australia, who were bowled out for 198 runs in the 41st over of their innings. This after the Proteas top order had combined well, with Aiden Markram (82 off 81), captain Temba Bavuma (65 off 74) and Matthew Breetzke (57 off 56) all contributing half-centuries as the SA team compiled 296/8 in their 50 overs. 'To see it come together is super special. I was very fortunate to get the rewards. I put the balls in the right area, but it's not often that happens (taking five wickets), so I'm very grateful and I'll take that performance,' said Maharaj, who was named Man of the Match. 'It (Australia) is the place where I came to debut, so it's a wonderful, sort of fitting and nostalgic feeling coming back here and getting my first fifer.' Still going strong Maharaj admitted he was relieved to finally achieve the milestone in his 49th ODI, with his performance indicating he was still improving at the age of 35. 'I'm not someone who bowls for five-fors. I'm a process driven person, so I judge myself on my consistency and my lengths,' he said. 'I think it was more of a sigh of relief to finally tick the box. You dream of playing international cricket, you dream of putting in match-winning performances, and the dreams keep building. 'To tick the box of getting a fifer will always be special but it's probably more a feeling of relief than anything else.' With South Africa having taken a 1-0 series lead, the second of three ODI matches will be contested in Mackay on Friday.

Destructive spinner Maharaj leads Proteas to crushing win over Australia
Playing his 49th ODI, Maharaj returned career-best figures of 5/33. An incredible spell by spin bowler Keshav Maharaj snatched the game away from Australia on Tuesday, as the Proteas secured a commanding 98-run victory in the first fixture of their three-match ODI series in Cairns. Set a target of 297 runs to win, Australia got off to a decent start in their chase, with Travis Head and captain Mitchell Marsh sharing 60 runs for the first wicket. However, Head was removed for 27 runs in the eighth over, stumped by wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton as spinner Prenelan Subrayen took his first ODI wicket on debut. And once the partnership was broken, experienced slow bowler Maharaj ripped through the rest of Australia's top order, with the hosts losing their next five wickets for just 26 runs as they were left scrambling at 89/6. Marsh stuck his heels in at the crease, sharing 71 runs with Ben Dwarshuis (33 off 52) for the seventh wicket before Dwarshuis was removed by Nandre Burger, with Dewald Brevis holding onto the catch at midwicket. That scalp signalled the beginning of the end for the hosts as Marsh (who hit 88 off 96) fell four overs later, and Australia were ultimately bowled out for 198 runs in the 41st over of their innings.
