Former Eurovision stars share messages of support for EMMY
The Norwegian singer-songwriter is set to fly the flag for Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest tonight (Thursday, May 15) as she performs her song Laika Party in the second semi-final.

Now, eager to see EMMY succeed, a number of former Eurovision stars have sent their love to the singer ahead of her taking to the stage.
In a video shared by RTÉ One on Instagram, Nicky Byrne began by saying: 'Hey Emmy! Nicky Byrne here checking in. Wow. Big day at Eurovision in Switzerland is just around the corner.

'If you can bring the trophy home back to where it belongs, that would be lovely too,' he added. 'Do your best, EMMY. See you when you get back. Have fun.'
Mickey Joe Harte also extended his best wishes, saying: 'Hi EMMY, Mickey Joe, here. I just wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all the best in the Eurovision this year.
'It's a fantastic opportunity, fantastic, you know, fun and just enjoy it. Go out there and enjoy it. Do your best, connect with the audience and connect with all the media out there and have fun. Naturally, Dustin The Turkey was also in the mix, singing his own rendition of Laika Party to send EMMY off in style.
