A double bill of the moreish meta comedy, which has belatedly made it to British broadcast TV. As season one wraps up, Deborah (Jean Smart) catches Ava (Hannah Einbinder) in a lie, leading to a bitter showdown between the veteran Joan-Rivers-esque comic and her reluctant young hire. Hannah J Davies
10.15pm, BBC Three
Lorcan and Gemma are throwing a party at Boggins' farm ('It's the biggest event of the year – sometimes seven, maybe eight people attend'). Among the guests is Gemma's brother David (Jamie Demetriou). Has Callum found a great new friend? Utterly wonderful. Ali Catterall

The end-of-series highlights show is always a bit of a letdown – but then again, what a reel. St Denis Medical, review: yet another workplace mockumentary, flatlining on originality
Original ideas are thin on the ground in TV, but a mockumentary workplace comedy set in a US hospital? You've definitely seen this one before, spread across different shows. St Denis Medical (BBC One) is The Office meets Scrubs with a dash of St Elsewhere and Parks and Recreation, while unfortunately not being as good as any of them. It's not so bad, though, even if the BBC has bought it in from NBC and dumped it in a graveyard slot. They're hoping you'll pick it up on iPlayer, where the half-hour episodes are available as a boxset. The setting is a small, regional hospital in Oregon. Turns out they have the same problems over there as we have over here: low morale, chaotic A&E departments, intransigent receptionists who would have to see your internal organs fall out before they let you see a doctor. Then there's the endless admin. A consultant is asked how he spends a typical day, and replies: 'Well, I just examined a patient with a heart murmur. That took about two minutes. Now I'm going to spend 40 minutes filling out electronic health records.' That's Dr Leonard (David Alan Grier), a twinkly hospital veteran and the most likeable character here. Some of the others owe a hefty debt to The Office. If David Brent was running a hospital, can't you imagine him saying, as Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) does here: 'I was an oncologist for 20 years but, now that I'm a hospital administrator, I'm battling different kinds of cancers – like cynicism, pessimism, people questioning my judgment. Those attitudes are the real cancers.'? She performs dance routines as employees wince, and asks them: 'What's the most infectious thing in a hospital?' When they suggest various diseases, she says: 'No, you guys, the most infectious thing in a hospital is a smile. ' Then there's Alex (Fargo's Allison Tolman), a supervising nurse in A&E. She's the one with whom we are supposed to sympathise because she's brimming with goodness and devoted to the job, patiently dealing with difficult patients, difficult colleagues and difficult bosses. Alex gives the show a sentimental side that can verge on the cloying. Her perennially sarcastic colleague, Serena (Kahyun Kim), is more fun. Writer Justin Spitzer previously worked on the US version of The Office, as well as Scrubs and workplace comedy Superstore, and has stayed well within his comfort zone. He's done a competent job, but it all feels too safe. Dr Leonard has been given a quirk, but it's simply that he has a very sweet tooth; the trauma surgeon swaggers around as if he's God's gift, when it would have been more interesting to steer away from that stereotype. The mockumentary touches – all those glances at the camera – feel hackneyed now. Shows like this have been so done to death that we've come full circle, and it's the traditional, canned laughter sitcoms that are starting to look edgy.

"Well done all of you that have organised it, it is hugely important that we have events like this. Not just to celebrate who we are and a day of enjoyment but also an important message. As well that there has been a lot of great progress over the last decades in equality, diversity and inclusion and the LGBTQ+ community are a part of that but also to highlight that there are still some stigma issues out there that we need people to be educated on and to overcome." Content cannot be displayed without consent Whilst fun, joy and celebration is welcomed to the Barry Pride next weekend, they have made the decision that political parties will not invited to this year's event due to "the lack of support" from the major political parties, including those in government in Westminster, Cardiff Bay and locally. Article continues below Barry Pride released a statement in May saying: "At Barry Pride, we believe in the power of unity, solidarity, and the importance of true representation – from the most visible to the most marginalised. "In the light of the challenges faced by sections of the community and the lack of support from the major political parties, including those in government in Westminster, Cardiff Bay and locally, Barry Pride has made the decision that political parties will not be invited to participate in our 2025 parade. "This will remain the case until political parties can demonstrate an unwavering commitment to supporting our community and this means every member of our community. Please note that this is not a blanket ban on members of political organisations, however, political paraphernalia will not be welcomed. Individual members may attend the parade, either with other organisations or as members of the general public. During his visit, the seven-time F1 world champion took some time out from the meetings to introduce himself to Number 10's Chief Mouser, Larry. Larry has served in the role since 2011 after being adopted by then PM David Cameron. Born in 2007, the tabby is as old as Hamilton's F1 career when he started out with McLaren in the same year. He captioned the post: "Thanks for the stroke. @LewisHamilton - love from the sleeping cat to the prancing horse x." It was a bit of a change of pace for Hamilton, who is usually seen alongside his French bulldog Roscoe. And one fan on social media was quick to point out: "If Roscoe ever sees this picture he will never forgive LH." Hamilton has not had the best interaction with cats in the past, revealing last year how he had black cats "thrown" at him. Lewis Hamilton's beloved dog Roscoe diagnosed with pneumonia as carer gives health update He also landed himself in trouble with animal rights activists in 2016 when he was seen playing with a tiger and jaguar during a visit to Mexico City's Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation. But most fans were loving the crossover of two British icons, with one saying: "Two legends in the same photo." A second said: "Oh what an honour! (For Lewis)." A third added: "Prime Minister Larry deigns to share some of his aura with Lewis. I respect that." Another joked: "Ahh I guess Lewis's demands to Sir Keir Starmer proved futile and Lewis went over Keir's head to the real power in Number 10." The Ferrari star admitted last month that he worries about his 12-year-old pooch following a recent battle he had with pneumonia. Hamilton said: "This is a time where every time I get a text message from the lady who looks after him, my heart stops for a second. "Because I'm thinking, 'What's next?' But he's fine now, fortunately. He is doing well. 'I never felt like my voice was heard' - Lewis Hamilton on education reform Hamilton's appearance at Downing Street was for more than just saying hello to Larry the Cat, but in fact was down to his goal of pushing for education reform in the UK. On his visit, Hamilton said: "I struggled in school and never felt like my voice was heard, that's why I know first-hand that ensuring every student feels they belong in school is vital. "I'm grateful that, off the back of this meeting, the government has committed to working with Mission 44 to enact change focused on making the education system more inclusive. "I'm so proud of how far Mission 44 has come in such a short space of time and the opportunity we have to transform the lives of vulnerable students across the country." In a previous interview with the Sunday Times, Hamilton revealed: "When I was in my 20s, I had some really difficult phases. "I've struggled with mental health throughout my life. [I've had] depression. "From a very early age, when I was, like, 13. "I think it was the pressure of the racing and struggling at school. "The bullying. I had no one to talk to.' "He's 12 and a half years old, so he's an old boy and it's unusual for them to live that long." The duo have practically been inseparable for a decade, and even appear together on the front cover of a recent edition of Vogue. When quizzed on Roscoe's next appearance, Hamilton said: "I really want to take him to Silverstone, and particularly Monza, this year. "I plan to put him in a red cape and outfit. I was with him before Miami and he still wants to play. "He's still got that youthful spirit. But he does like to sleep a lot." Roscoe's trainer, Kirstin McMillan, nursed the vegan canine back to full fitness after he fell ill in April, as he was treated with medication and specialist acupuncture treatment. Meanwhile, Hamilton has been struggling to extract the best out of his Ferrari machinery, and - outside of a Sprint Race win - is yet to score a podium with the Scuderia after joining them over the winter. The Brit appeared close to tears during an interview with Sky Sports F1 after he finished P6 at the Spanish Grand Prix. He later showed his class by apologising for snapping at reporter Rachel Brooks. Hamilton will have a chance at redemption at the Canadian Grand Prix on June 15. 5
