Vince Maristela, Cheska Fausto clarify their relationship status
On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Vince said that he was single when he entered the "Pinoy Big Brother" house.
However, Cheska said that they were never actually together. She said Vince courted her, but they did not become official.
"I didn't say yes or hindi ko po siya binasted, it's just that, Tito Boy, I felt like it wasn't the right time," she said.
"Siguro nakikita ko lang din po kay Cheska 'yung kaibigan na kahit ang tagal niyong hindi nag-usap, 'pag tinawagan mo, parang walang nagbago," Vince said.
When asked if he still loves Cheska, Vince answered, "Siguro po nag-iba po talaga 'yung tingin ko kay Cheska."
He added that their friendship has grown deeper.
"'Yun talaga 'yung nakikita ko na ayokong sirain. Siguro mahal ko siya pero in a different way," he said.
Vince and Cheska are part of ATM's (Adventure. Taste. Moments) podcast "TRGGRD," which they host alongside Sean Lucas, Thea Astley, and Jeff Moses.
"TRGGRD" episodes are available on Spotify, Audible, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Lola Amour unable to pursue complaint over campaign jingles that used 'Raining in Manila' without permission
Lola Amour said that they were not able to pursue a complaint against candidates who used their song "Raining in Manila" for their campaign jingles without permission during the recent elections. On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the OPM band said that they posted a public disclaimer, stating they were not connected to the jingles or the politicians using their music. "Pinost namin 'yun dahil we just wanted to protect our fans from thinking na nag-e-endorse kami ng mga taong hindi namin alam 'yung plataporma," Pio Dumayas said. The band said that this was not an isolated incident, marking the second election cycle where their music was used without permission. "Hindi namin ine-expect na it would reach Comelec, and they also advised us to file a complaint," Pio said. However, this is where the band encountered a significant hurdle. "By the time that we were on this spotlight again, hindi namin mahanap 'yung mga clips or 'yung mga jingles. Kasi siyempre nag-take down agad sila once naging issue. So in-advise lang kami legally na dapat maghanap kami ng ebidensya," Pio said. The immediate removal made it unfeasible for Lola Amour to gather the necessary evidence for a complaint. "At least to us, we were happy na naging topic na rin siya sa news. We were able to open up this conversation na decades na siyang ginagamit 'yung music ng mga artists na wala namang permission," Pio said. "Raining in Manila," a song they released in 2024, quickly became one of their hit tracks, with international acts such as Enhypen's Jake and GOT7's Bambam jamming to the song. Even the Kapuso Comedy Genius Michael V. was so hyped with the song that he made a parody of it called "Waiting Here sa Pila," which is about people lining up for coffee. Last week, Lola Amour released their new album, "Love on Loop." They are holding the Love On Loop: The Album Concert on September 12 at Space at One Ayala in Makati. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Shaira Diaz, EA Guzman choose Switzerland for honeymoon destination
Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman are bound for Switzerland, where they plan to spend their honeymoon. On Wednesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' the newlywed couple said that they chose Switzerland as their honeymoon destination after they repeatedly saw its beautiful scenery. 'First week of September sa Switzerland. First time namin—parehas kaming hindi [pa] nakakapunta. First time naming mararating 'yung Switzerland. And sa lahat ng mga reels po namin sa social media, 'yun po 'yung nakikita namin,' EA said. Shaira echoed EA's sentiment and said, 'Laging nakikita namin. Ang ganda-ganda. Swiss Alps.' EA highlighted that the natural beauty was what drew them to the destination. 'Na-curious kami kung ano ba itsura ng Switzerland. Parang perfect kasi kay Shai, mahilig siya sa mga scenery-scenery na may mga puno,' he said. 'Bundok-bundok, ta's 'yung Swiss Alps po,' Shaira said. Shaira and EA tied the knot on August 14. The Unang Hirit barkada, a number of GMA executives, and Kapuso stars were among those who attended their wedding. Shaira and EA had been engaged since 2021, but only publicized it in 2024. Shaira previously shared that she wanted to marry EA after completing her college degree, a goal she achieved in August that year. The two famously practiced celibacy throughout their 12 years together. In her wedding vows, Shaira told EA, "Magiging masaya ka na mamaya." Alas, EA said on their first night as a married couple, his bride fell asleep on him. 'Pero naintindihan ko naman kasi ang aga niya nagising," EA said. — Carby Basina/LA, GMA Integrated News

Now that they are finally married after 12 years, are Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman planning to start a family right after tying the knot? The newlyweds answered this question on Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda." According to the couple, they are not in a rush and they are still savoring the married life. "Gusto ko rin pong ma-enjoy 'yung ano po eh... ma-enjoy 'yung company naming dalawa as a married couple now," Shaira said. The Sparkle actress said EA has given her the decision for the timing of everything, from the announcement of their engagement, to their wedding, and to having a baby. However, the couple is already preparing for the future family that they will build together. They will continue with their showbiz careers to get ready for their responsibility as parents. "S'yempre kailangan naming paghandaan na ang baby. Mahal na ang magpaaral ngayon, magpalaki ng bata, so ayaw namin na mahirapan s'yempre," Shaira said. "Kailangan prepared po kami once na OK na ang lahat, nandun na," she added. Shaira and EA got married in a church wedding in Silang, Cavite on Thursday. Boy Abunda was not able to attend the ceremony, but he is one of their ninongs. EA is a regular cast of "Bubble Gang," while Shaira is one of the hosts of "Unang Hirit." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
