Marchand accuse Sam Hamad d'essayer de lui voler des candidats

Le maire de Québec, Bruno Marchand, accuse Sam Hamad d'avoir tenté dans les derniers jours de débaucher certains des candidats annoncés par Québec Forte et Fière en vue de la prochaine élection municipale.
«C'est dur pour les équipes de recruter. M. Hamad cherche à recruter dans mes candidats. Il a approché mes candidats pour les recruter. Ce n'est pas un signe que ça va si bien que ça», affirme M. Marchand en mêlée de presse.
Il n'a toutefois pas voulu nommer de candidats ni de districts qui auraient été la cible d'approches de la part de Sam Hamad et son parti, Leadership Québec.
Questionné sur la fusion récente entre Équipe Priorité Québec et l'équipe de M. Hamad, Bruno Marchand soutient qu'il s'agissait d'un «secret de polichinelle».
«Si tu as de la misère à recruter des candidats, c'est intéressant d'en prendre qui sont déjà élus. Ça aide», laisse-t-il tomber, en décochant une autre flèche vers son opposant dans la course à la mairie.
