Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported robust sales figures for April 2025, with total sales reaching 4,80,896 units, comprising 4,22,931 units in domestic sales and 57,965 units in exports.In the month of April, in line with evolving market needs, HMSI introduced updated OBD2B-compliant versions of the Dio 125, featuring advanced upgrades. The company also expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the 2025 editions of the CB350, CB350 H'ness, and CB350RS, now available in new colour schemes. Meanwhile, HMSI issued a voluntary recall for specific units of the CB300R manufactured between 2018 and 2020 to ensure continued customer safety and product integrity.advertisementOn the road safety front, HMSI furthered its awareness campaigns across 12 cities, including Pune, Jaipur, Ranchi, and New Delhi. The company also celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad.
Under its CSR arm, Honda India Foundation (HIF) concluded the Project Buniyaad in Shillong, Meghalaya. The latest iteration of the RTR 200 4V is OBD2B compliant and brings several new features focused on performance, control, and style. It now comes equipped with a 37mm Upside Down (USD) front suspension for better handling and cornering, alongside a new hydroformed handlebar designed to enhance stability across riding conditions. In terms of design, the 2025 model sports refreshed aesthetics, including striking red alloy wheels and updated graphics. It will be offered in three bold colour options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey. At the heart of the Apache RTR 200 4V is a 197.75cc engine that continues to deliver an impressive 20.8 PS at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The motorcycle comes with premium features like dual-channel ABS with Rear Lift-off Protection, three riding modes (Urban, Sport, and Rain), a race-tuned slipper clutch, and adjustable brake and clutch levers. Riders also get the benefit of TVS SmartXonnect™ with Bluetooth and voice assist, a fully digital instrument cluster, and LED headlamps with signature DRLs. First launched in 2016, the Apache RTR 200 4V revolutionised the performance motorcycle segment with its aggressive styling and segment-first features. Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new Suzuki GSX-8R in the Indian market. The fully faired middleweight sports tourer is now OBD2B compliant, and there are no changes in terms of pricing, components, or equipment. The bike continues to be priced at Rs 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and Interested customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon. Talking about the engine, the bike is powered by a 776cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine with a 270-degree crank that puts out 81.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 78Nm of torque at 6,800rpm. It gets a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter. Features-wise, it comes with LED headlights and taillights, an LCD digital cluster, three levels of traction control, three ride modes, ABS, and more. The GSX-8R is based on a steel chassis paired with Showa suspension components, including an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are taken care by 310 mm twin discs up front and a 240 mm single disc at the rear. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop RoadSport 2 radial tyres. The bike also continues to be offered in three colour options - Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black.
