HMSI sales dip 11% to 4,80,896 units in April

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India ( HMSI ) on Friday reported an 11 per cent year-on-year decline in total sales at 4,80,896 units in April. The company had dispatched 5,41,946 units to dealers in April last year. Domestic dispatches to dealers stood at 4,22,931 units last month, down 12 per cent as compared with 4,81,046 units in April 2024, HMSI said in a statement. Exports declined to 57,965 units from 60,900 units in April last year, it added. Product updates and recall The company introduced OBD2B compliant versions of the Dio 125 with new features. HMSI also launched the 2025 CB350, CB350 H'ness, and CB350RS with new colour options. The company announced a voluntary recall of its CB300R motorcycle for specific units manufactured between 2018 and 2020. Road safety and CSR activities HMSI conducted road safety awareness campaigns in 12 cities including Pune, Jaipur, Varanasi, and New Delhi. It also marked the 10th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad. The Honda India Foundation concluded its Project Buniyaad training programme in Shillong, with 30 beneficiaries receiving job offers.

The company also celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad. Under its CSR arm, Honda India Foundation (HIF) concluded the Project Buniyaad in Shillong, Meghalaya. Additionally, HMSI celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad, advancing its efforts towards responsible road habits.
