Automechanika Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's leading regional trade show for the automotive aftermarket industry, has officially sold out six weeks before the event, with the seventh edition returning to the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from April 28-30, with a surge of exhibitors from around the world.
The major regional event is licensed to 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition.
This year, companies from over 34 countries have already confirmed, up from 26 last year, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, France, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Vietnam, and Peru, said the organisers.
In addition, there will be seven country pavilions with companies from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Turkey on show, as well as two new dedicated areas for Italian and Indian exhibitors.
Saudi Arabia will also continue to have a strong presence with 39 automotive aftermarket companies, nearly 10% of all exhibitors, underscoring the market growth within the country as several new and returning exhibitors commit to the show, they stated.
New to the exhibition this year are Al-Kadi Commerce & Industry, a market leader in mobility solutions; Juffali Automotive Company, industry experts across mobility, technology, engineering and services; Kayan, the car paints and equipment supplier; Sampa, the leading global manufacturer of commercial vehicle parts, A.H Al Sayyed & Sons Trading Company, the leading provider of premium auto parts and maintenance services in Saudi Arabia; and Neweast, a leading importer of automotive spare parts.
Returning exhibitors from the Kingdom include DJ Auto, Thunder Trading, O2Proformance, Taajeer, and BMT Banaeem.
Speaking ahead of the event, Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia, said: "Automechanika Riyadh has witnessed unprecedented growth in the last year, with the 2025 edition not only selling out in record time but also set to welcome a record number of international exhibitors and year-on-year increases in visitor numbers."
"To facilitate this demand, this year's event will include two additional halls, increasing the size of the exhibition floor space by 70% compared to the 2024 edition, which will also help facilitate the expected 19,000 visitors during the exhibition show days," he added.
In addition to the busy exhibition floor, Automechanika Riyadh will deliver a packed conference programme as part of the Automechanika Academy, the event's flagship conference, which will return with a focus on Saudi Arabia's journey to becoming a regional automotive hub while also outlining the trends impacting the automotive aftermarket from a global perspective.
According to the organisers, the conference will deliver insights from international, regional, and local experts on various topics, with panel discussions and sessions addressing adaptive digital strategies, customer-centric approaches shaping the automotive industry, and sustainable supply chain practices in the automotive industry.
The popular Modern Workshop will offer diverse daily themes, from workforce transformation and digital adaption to hybrid vehicle servicing ecosystem and future-ready operations, it stated.
Aly Hefny, Show Manager, Automechanika Riyadh, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: "Automechanika Riyadh is reinventing the automotive aftermarket exhibition space in Saudi Arabia thanks to the event's year-on-year growth and diverse exhibitor portfolio."
"This is complemented by the conference agenda, which delves into local and international markets with insights and opinions from visionaries worldwide," he added.

No Travel Ban On Indians: Saudi Arabia's Temporary Visa Restrictions Linked To Hajj Season

Saudi Arabia is expected to lift the temporary travel restrictions on Indian nationals following the end of visa regulations introduced earlier in April to manage the flow of pilgrims and reduce overcrowding during the Hajj season. In April 2025, the Saudi authorities temporarily suspended the issuance of Umrah, business, and family visit visas to nationals of 14 countries, including India. This measure, which will remain in place until mid-June 2025, was implemented as part of the Kingdom's broader efforts to streamline pilgrimage operations and ensure the safety and comfort of worshippers and visitors. The temporary ban was not a targeted travel ban against specific nationalities but rather a logistical measure to prevent congestion in the lead-up to Hajj. It primarily affected short-term visa categories and does not reflect any change in the broader bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and the countries involved. Indian citizens are expected to regain access to short-term visa services following the conclusion of the Hajj season and resumption of regular visa processing. As such, reports suggesting a broader ban on Indian travellers entering Saudi Arabia are inaccurate. No official notification has been issued by the Saudi government restricting general travel from India. Saudi Arabia remains a key destination for millions of Indian expatriates, pilgrims, and business travellers, and both nations continue to enjoy strong and growing ties across sectors such as trade, energy, culture, and religious tourism.

Dubai's Ultra-Luxury Property Market Hits New Heights

Dubai's luxury real estate market continues to defy global trends, with Driven | Forbes Global Properties completing the sale of the final two penthouses at the Bulgari Lighthouse for a combined total exceeding AED282m ($77m). The deals reinforce the emirate's status as one of the world's most resilient and in-demand ultra-prime residential destinations. The first penthouse, a five-bedroom residence spanning 11,657 sq ft, was sold for AED146.6m ($40m), while the second fetched AED136.25m ($38m) —both among the highest-value apartment sales recorded in Dubai this year. Designed by acclaimed Italian architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, the Bulgari Lighthouse is located on Jumeirah Bay Island. The tower features a coral-like façade, panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Downtown Dubai, and interiors finished with Italian marble, hand-laid silk panelling, and warm oak accents. Each residence includes private infinity pools, double-height salons, and expansive terraces, merging resort-style luxury with urban privacy. Every detail is curated in partnership with the adjacent Bulgari Resort Dubai, offering owners hotel-level services—from private chefs and curated events, to concierge-managed experiences. The landmark sales were brokered by Lina Allaoa and Kianoush Darban, founders of The Private Collection at. Known for consistently setting area records—including the highest price per square foot and most expensive villa sale on the island—the duo has become synonymous with Dubai's high-end property elite. Lina Allaoa said: 'Dubai offers our international clients two things they value most: a secure place to allocate their capital and an unbeatable way of life. Bulgari Lighthouse unites those advantages in a single address, blending sound investment with everyday opulence'. Kianoush Darban added: 'Scarcity drives value. With fewer than 40 residences in the tower, and amenities that rival a private resort, Lighthouse is arguably the most coveted address in Dubai.' Their success is emblematic of the wider market. The emirate recorded AED62.4bn ($17bn) in real estate transactions in April 2025, a staggering 95 per cent increase year-on-year, driven largely by demand for trophy waterfront homes and limited-edition inventory. Analysts expect this ultra-prime momentum to continue into 2026 as supply remains tight and international capital continues to flow. Al-Alsheikh, who is based in Riyadh, will lead client engagement and growth strategy across Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. 'My mission is to help our clients reimagine how work gets done faster, smarter, and more autonomously,' she said, describing the company's software as a core driver of innovation across public and private sectors. Focus on Bahrain's opportunity With Bahrain included in her portfolio, attention now turns to how local institutions will respond to this regional push. While UiPath has a relatively low profile in Bahrain compared to Saudi Arabia, its software is already in use globally by governments and Fortune 500 firms to automate operations and reduce administrative bottlenecks. Al-Alsheikh's appointment is expected to support local adoption, particularly if awareness-building and training are embedded in the expansion strategy. Her leadership reflects broader Vision 2030 goals shared across the Gulf, which emphasise both digital transformation and gender inclusion.
