It's Official: William H. Macy to Star Opposite Chris Meloni in Hulu's NFL Drama From Dan Fogelman
William H. Macy has officially joined Hulu's upcoming NFL drama from Dan Fogelman, TVLine has learned.

TVLine exclusively broke the news that Macy was circling the project in July; we can now report that he will be a series regular. Though the project does not officially have a title, we also reported then that it's tentatively called 17 Sundays.
First announced in October, the new series will be written and executive-produced by Fogelman, who also has Season 2 of Paradise and Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building (where he's an EP) in the works at Hulu. Plot details are being kept under wraps as of now, but sources describe it as a sprawling drama set inside the world of the NFL with a generational family component.
Macy will play Hank Durkin, a team owner. As previously reported, Chris Meloni (Law & Order: Organized Crime) will play the head coach of an NFL team.
Meloni is best known for playing Det. Elliot Stabler, a role he originated on Law & Order: SVU and now plays on Peacock's Law & Order: Organized Crime. His other TV credits include Oz, Happy! and Underground. Macy was a six-time Emmy nominee for his role as patriarch Frank Gallagher on Showtime's Shameless and previously recurred on ER; he's mainly known for his film works in movies like Fargo, Boogie Nights and Magnolia.
For all you Law & Order: OC fans worried about this news, Meloni's casting here does not necessarily spell doom for OC, a source maintains, and here's why: 17 Sundays would shoot in the fall, while Organized Crime — if it's renewed for Season 6 — would return to production in the spring. Season 5 of Organized Crime wrapped up its 10-episode run in June. (Additional reporting by Michael Ausiello)

Jason Kelce was hyped up and could only scream in excitement. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce — who was sitting beside Swift while she revealed the album to his brother — exclaimed, "TS 12!" Taylor Swift's New Album, Release Date and How to Order "The Life of a Showgirl" is Swift's 12th studio album, which follows her "The Tortured Poets Department" album that was released in April 2024. Along with the announcement, Swift's website also officially launched the start of the "pre-order for the album. Fans can visit to place their orders. Unfortunately, no official release date was mentioned for the album. The website listing did note that the items available will be shipped before October 13, 2025. Nonetheless, the website clarified that the aforementioned date is not the release date and that the official release will be announced at a later time. Fans React to Swift's Personal Announcement Naturally, fans were hyped to hear the big news. There was already speculation that Swift would announce something on 12:12 a.m ET, on Tuesday (August 12) after her website dropped a countdown timer late on Monday. Sure enough, Swift didn't disappoint — and fans were ecstatic. "TS12!!! TS12!!! TS12!!!" Amazon Music wrote. A fan added, "All the Swifties just screamed all at once around the world! The Life of a Showgirl!!!" "THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL OH MY GODDDDDDDD (IT WAS REAL HELLO???)" a hyped supporter remarked. "Perfect timing for album 12 hype!" a follower stated. A fifth commenter remarked, "ABSOLUTELY GAGGED." Last weekend, two new releases dominated the box office. Zach Cregger's Weapons dazzled audiences on its way to a $42 million domestic opening weekend. Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis participated in another body-swap comedy in Freakier Friday, which opened to just under $30 million. While those films are in theaters, the movies below can be watched inside your home for no cost. These free movies range from a coming-of-age comedy to a sci-fi reboot. Somewhere below that tier sits Can't Hardly Wait, the teen comedy that predominantly takes place at a high school party. The senior class at Huntington Hillside High convenes for a graduation party. Shy kids, like Preston Meyers (Ethan Embry), want to tell their crush (Jennifer Love Hewitt) how they feel. The nerds, like William Lichter (Charlie Korsmo), hope to exact revenge on their bully (Peter Facinelli). If you're Kenny (Seth Green) and Denise (Lauren Ambrose), all that matters is escaping a locked bathroom. Can't Hardly Wait does not reinvent the wheel, but its charming cast and hilarious gags are a welcome addition to the high school genre. Stream Can't Hardly Wait on Tubi. Basic Instinct (1992) Sharon Stone is a member of the 'Femme Fatale Hall of Fame' with her performance in Basic Instinct. After the murder of a rock star, homicide detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) is tasked with finding the killer. The suspect is the girlfriend, Catherine Tramell (Stone), a crime novelist whose recent book mirrors her boyfriend's murder. Instead of investigating Catherine, Nick engages with her in a sexually driven affair. The affair with Catherine negatively affects his relationship with Dr. Elisabeth Garner (Jeanne Tripplehorn), who also becomes a suspect in the murder case. While I wouldn't recommend watching this movie with your family, Basic Instinct is the addictive erotic thriller that today's audiences have been begging for more of. Abrams, the architect who rebooted the sci-fi property through an alternate timeline, the Kelvin universe. The result became 2009's Star Trek. After a chance meeting with a captain, James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), the son of a fallen officer, joins Starfleet Academy. While responding to a distress signal, Kirk boards the USS Enterprise, the famous ship from the original Star Trek. After the capture of Commander Pike (Bruce Greenwood), Kirk takes it upon himself to save the galaxy from the villainous Nero (Eric Bana). But first, Kirk must patch things up with his rival, Spock (Zachary Quinto), setting the stage for their future partnership. Stream Star Trek on Pluto TV.

The Detroit Lions quarterback had the sweetest response to Taylor Swift name-dropping him during her revelatory two-hour appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast with Jason Kelce, where she discussed everything from NFL games and her "granny" hobbies to her forthcoming album The Life of a Showgirl. "That was a crazy couple hours last night for me and my phone," Jared told reporters during a press conference Aug. 14, joking that he didn't expect to receive so many messages about the mention.
