Sebastian Stan & The White Lotus Star to Lead Crime Movie Burning Rainbow Farm
'The film is set to tell the story of Tom Crosslin and Rollie Rohm, two gay cannabis activists who met in the early 1990s and set up the peaceful, pot-friendly utopia Rainbow Farm in Michigan, a site that was once listed by High Times magazine as 'fourteenth on the list of twenty-five Top Stoner Travel Spots in the world,'' reads the official synopsis. 'But the pair ran afoul of local authorities and, when their young son was taken from them, a police standoff ensued that would lead to one of the largest and most dramatic sieges America has ever seen.'
Burning Rainbow Farm will be directed and produced by Justin Kurzel from a screenplay written by Tommy Murphy, based on Dean Kuipers' 2006 book of the same name. It is produced Nicole O'Donohue and Alexandra Taussig for Thirdborn, Adam Shulman of Anonymous Content, Alix Madigan of Mad Dog Films, and Justin Lothrop and Brent Stiefel of Votiv.
'Burning Rainbow is a love story about two outliers who raise their middle finger to hate and declare 'This is who we are, and we dare you to take it from us',' Kurzel said in a statement (via Variety). 'I'm excited to create this loveable and courageous couple with Sebastian and Leo, their union will be one to remember.'

Celebrities React To Dean Cain Joining ICE
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been ramping up efforts to find new recruits, like offering student loan forgiveness, $50,000 signing bonuses, lowering qualifications, and recruitment videos from known MAGA-lebrities like this actor who was once well-known for playing Superman. Actor Dean Cain, best known for playing Superman in the early '90s series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, has been a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and has now joined ICE. On Aug. 6, he told Jesse Watters on Fox, "I put out a recruitment video yesterday. I'm actually a sworn deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer. I wasn't part of ICE, but once I put that out there and you put a little blurb on your show, it went crazy. So now I've spoken with some of the officials over at ICE, and I will be sworn in as an ICE agent ASAP. So they'll have 88,001 recruits for their 10,000 positions." Dean said he plans to do whatever Director of ICE, Todd Lyons, wants him to do, because he believes "This country was built on patriots stepping up, whether it was popular or not, and doing the right thing." In an Aug. 8 Instagram video, actor and activist John Leguizamo slammed Dean, saying, "What kind of loser volunteers to be an ICE officer? What a moron. Dean Cain, your pronouns are has/been." John is a longtime advocate for representation, even recently celebrating the diversity of the slate of nominees on stage at the 2024 Emmys. "For years I didn't complain about the limited roles my people were offered… Turns out not complaining doesn't change anything. So for the past few years, I've been complaining." In response to John's video calling Dean a "has been" Frank Grillo, who plays Rick Flag Sr. in the latest Superman movie, responded that he "never was." Tatum O'Neal, the youngest person to ever win an Academy Award in 1974, responded with six clapping emojis. Director Lee Daniels simply laughed at John's statement. Comedian Margaret Cho blasted Dean for joining ICE in an Instagram video. "Why would you join ICE and encourage people to join ICE when your ancestors were interned in World War II?" she asked. "You're Japanese. You're not even white... I know you, and you are not white. You have never been white. And no matter how many of these white activities that you participate in, it's never going to make that happen... No matter how racist you are, no matter how wrong you act... Always wrong, never white." Margaret is referring to the fact that Dean, born Dean Tanaka, is half-Japanese on his father's side. "Tanaka is my given name, and it's funny that people are like, 'Well, you tried to hide that.' It's tattooed on my ankle,' he said in a July 2025 interview with Variety. 'My family was interned in the Minidoka internment camp in Idaho. That was a horrible injustice, but I don't think that I deserve any sort of reparations." He said 'I'll be back' — and meant it. Arnold Schwarzenegger has stayed true to his 'Terminator' mantra — and has already hit Midtown's new Planet Hollywood, a venture he invested in when it launched in the early nineties. 'Arnold the Governator was in New York, just around the time that we opened earlier this year because he was filming a Santa Claus movie and he came to the opening. Then he threw his wrap party for the movie there and started hanging out again,' Planet Hollywood's CEO and founder, Robert Earl, told The Post. Back then, it had the backing of Hollywood elite, namely Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Now, Earl also finds it surreal to be welcoming his former investors' offspring, who are now grown up and making their own way in the industry — like Patrick, the son of Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. 4 Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick have already visited the new Planet Hollywood in Midtown. From business partners to mother-and-son duos, one partnership has come out on top… but not from their own doing. Fred and Min were completely puzzled by the first race to complete a crossword and find a clue… leaving them in last place. But in some strange twist of fortune, they sneakily ended up with the £250,000 briefcase that evening! But what do we know about Fred and Min? The retired life partners are 60 and 59-years-old. They live together in Blackpool, Lancashire. They are currently the only retired contestants, as ex-police officer John was knocked out of the competition when he received the early checkout case in episode 2. Their game plan? 'Bluff them, blag them and fake it til you make it! It was our last hurrah!" Fred said. Well, their plan is certainly working so far… When asked by Media Mole how they would spend the prize money, they weren't in agreement. Fred said, 'Wisely!', while Min said, 'Unwisely!
