The foldable iPhone might finally become a reality next year, and a prototype is already under testing. Screen specs for this version of the phone have leaked, and it seems that Apple will not be surpassing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 coming out next month, let alone a potential Fold 8.The, according to a very reliable industry insider ), will have a main display that is 7.58 inches across. This display's resolution is around 2713 x 1920. For comparison, the upcomingis all but confirmed to have an 8.2 inch main display. Its resolution is expected to be around 2224 x 2488, though that is still unconfirmed.According to reports, Apple will not market the foldable iPhone as a separate niche. Instead, the company apparently plans to sell the phone as the next top-end variant, taking the place of the Pro Max models.

As Apple's largest rival in the smartphone space, Samsung isn't making things easier for the. While the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was often considered outdated next to today's competition, thelooks much better. Samsung has genuinely put effort into catching up with its rivals, and in making the dwindling foldable industry appear more enticing to the average consumer. The company is also launching a budget foldable model this year: the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE . That means we'll likely see a Flip 8 FE next year, which will further give Apple's entry into the industry a run for its money. This isn't to say that thecan't compete with Samsung at all. According to numerous reports, the reason Apple waited so long to make a foldable smartphone is because it wanted it to have an invisible crease. If the company has been able to manage that, then its phone definitely has a much stronger chance against its rivals.Furthermore, thewill unfortunately continue Samsung's trend of small batteries and disappointing charging speeds: 4,400 mAh at 25W wired. If Apple uses a denser battery, and the Fold 8 doesn't, that'll be another point for the iPhone.Of course, the device is still being finalized, so these specs are subject to change. However, with production expected to start in a couple of months, this is likely what the final product will look like.

Xfinity rolls out new internet plans with a free mobile line included

Comcast's Xfinity has announced that it is introducing a new set of internet plans across the country, with a focus on simple pricing and fewer surprises. The plans now come with unlimited data, a WiFi gateway, and one year of free Xfinity Mobile service included. This new setup follows the launch of Xfinity's 5-year price guarantee earlier this year. Customers now have the option to choose from either a 1-year or 5-year price lock, with no contracts or hidden fees. According to Comcast, this approach is meant to offer more straightforward choices and added value. — Steve Croney, Chief Operating Officer for Connectivity & Platforms at Comcast. Here is the new pricing breakdown with the 1 and 5 year options: 300 Mbps: $40/month (1-year), $55/month (5-year), $70 everyday price 500 Mbps: $55/month (1-year), $70/month (5-year), $85 everyday price 1 Gbps: $70/month (1-year), $85/month (5-year), $100 everyday price 2 Gbps: $100/month (1-year), $115/month (5-year), $130 everyday price Each plan includes the Xfinity WiFi Gateway, which supports fast internet speeds, lower lag for gaming and streaming, and reliable coverage throughout the home. The gateway also features built-in cybersecurity tools and parental controls, all manageable through the updated Xfinity app. Another key feature is the inclusion of one unlimited line of Xfinity Mobile at no extra charge for the first year, with no fees or taxex. The offer includes access to WiFi PowerBoost, which can raise Xfinity Mobile speeds up to 1 Gbps when connected to Xfinity WiFi at home or on the go. Since most mobile data use happens over WiFi, Comcast says this pairing improves the overall experience. The company also highlights that Xfinity Mobile runs on a combination of nationwide 5G and the Xfinity WiFi network, which it calls the largest and fastest in the country. Customers can sign up for the new plans online at or by visiting a local Xfinity store. For users who are looking for simpler internet plans with extra benefits like mobile service and built-in hardware, Xfinity's updated pricing could be worth a look. Still, as always, how it compares will depend on local availability and how well the service performs in everyday use. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Latest Verizon offer is so good that its legitimacy is being questioned

Verizon is pulling out all the stops to make customers happy. The company is not only revamping how customer issues are handled, but also spoiling them with merch, gift cards, and free lines. If you thought that was the extent of its generosity, think again. The company also has another offer for existing customers. Verizon appears to have a new targeted offer for loyal customers. The company is seemingly giving free iPhone 16 to customers with multiple lines. And even though the offer looks too good to be true, it's legit. —Cigator, Reddit user, June 2025 This appears to be a token of appreciation for loyal customers who have either been with the company for a long time or have many lines on their accounts. The specifics of the offer aren't known but on the surface, it looks like Verizon is letting some customers upgrade to an iPhone 16 for free. The offer is only for one line. The best part is that customers are neither required to trade in a device nor expected to change their plan. Standard terms and conditions do apply though. To learn more about the additional terms, you'll have to reach out to Verizon , but you'll likely have to pay for the iPhone 16 upfront and you'll be reimbursed through monthly credits. Taxes will probably be your responsibility. If your device is on its last legs or you just want a phone with modern specs, this offer is seriously tempting. Since the price is reimbursed over 36 months usually, the catch here is that you'll be stuck with Verizon for three years. Given the growing disenchantment with the Big Three, that might be a deal breaker, especially if you have lately found yourself thinking about a switching. However, if that's not the case and you are happy with the company, you should consider the offer. Verizon has signaled that it wants to serve customers better and while customers aren't necessarily as happy about the company using Google's AI models to improve customer care are handled as its leadership, most likely still appreciate the lengths it's going in order to keep them happy.
