'It's a common misconception that booking earlier always guarantees the best prices,' Oliver Brendon, CEO of AttractionTickets.com said in a statement.
'The reality is that airlines regularly adjust their fares based on demand, and savvy travelers can benefit from these fluctuations even just a week ahead of departure.'

They also said that they have noticed 'consistent trends' that booking a flight in the early morning has been the best time to get a low fare. Around 6 a.m. is often when fresh fares are dropped and airlines adjust pricing algorithms before the search traffic for the day takes off.
'If you're still looking to book a Memorial Day trip, we recommend getting online early on the morning of Sunday 18th May, or Sunday 25th May if you're feeling particularly risky,' the experts revealed.
'These dates fall just a week before the long weekend, giving families just enough time to prepare while still capitalizing on some of the best available pricing.'

United Airlines Breaks Silence After Big Newark Airport Update

On June 2, the Federal Aviation Administration revealed a construction project on one of Newark Liberty International Airport's three main runways wrapped up nearly two weeks early. "The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has completed construction of Runway 4-Left/22-Right at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). This runway will only be open for departures, while FAA flight crews ensure the runway's navigational aids are tested, calibrated and safe to use for arrivals. This is standard protocol to ensure a runway is safe to use for pilots and the flying public," the FAA said in a statement. "The airport will continue to operate with a maximum arrival rate of 28 aircraft an hour until those checks are complete. After that, the airport's maximum arrival rate will be 34 aircraft an hour." The announcement comes before the summer travel schedule becomes fully booked and is welcomed news for United Airlines, which operates nearly 70% of flights from Newark Liberty International Airport. "The airport's runway construction project is now complete. That means all runways at Newark are open, and we're confident that will lead to even better on-time performance for our airline," United said in a statement on June 2. The airline touted Newark Liberty International Airport's on-time rates over the busy holiday weekend that saw record travel numbers. "During Memorial Day weekend, one of the busiest of the year, EWR beat New York LaGuardia (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International (JFK) in on‑time departures, and over the last two days of the weekend, EWR had the best on-time rates of any large airport in the country," the airline added. The FAA announced it expects the runway to fully open sometime the week of June Airlines Breaks Silence After Big Newark Airport Update first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 3, 2025

2 Teens Shot Dead on National Park Camping Trip

Authorities in Arizona are in the middle of a mysterious case involving two teens who were found shot to death on a popular national park camping site. According to multiple reports, 18-year-old Pandora Kjolsrud and an unidentified 17-year-old male were found dead on May 27 off State Route 87 at Tonto National Forest. As Fox 10 in Phoenix reported, the two teens left for a Memorial Day weekend camping trip, but they never returned. Friends and family have since set up a memorial overlooking a valley on the famed Camelback Mountain. It's reported that the two teens often visited the spot with friends to watch the this moment the MCSO is asking anyone with information to call them at 602-876-TIPS. At 2.9 million acres, Tonto National Forest is the largest of six national parks in Arizona. The park is famous for its hiking trails, Sonoran Desert Saguaro cacti, camp sites and expansive bike trails. These national parks are popular, especially this time a year. Morocco reveals ambitious £887m plan to host African F1 race

The coastal city of Tangiers in Morocco could host an F1 race (AFP via Getty Images) Morocco looks set to enter the competitive race to host an F1 race in Africa with a spectacular $1.2m (£887m) plan revealed near the coastal city of Tangier. Both South Africa – at either the Kyalami track near Johannesburg or a Cape Town street circuit, and Rwanda have expressed strong interest in hosting a grand prix, perhaps as early as 2027. Advertisement Africa is the only habitable continent that F1 does not host a race in, amidst the congested 24-event calendar. The last grand prix in Africa was the 1993 South African GP. But now, Morocco is aiming to build a mega-project 20km south of Tangier, which will include a Grade 1 circuit fit to host F1 and MotoGP, a theme park, a shopping mall and a marina. The architect behind the plan, ex-McLaren and Lotus team principal Eric Boullier, has his sights set on the project being something close to a 'mini-Abu Dhabi.' 'We went there [Tangier] to do a feasibility study to assess the potential of one day Formula 1 racing in Morocco,' Boullier told RacingNews365. Advertisement "We found the spot they selected met all the criteria, and from that point, we built the project. This is quite a big project. It is a mini-Abu Dhabi, if I may compare, creating a completely independent ecosystem, obviously based on tourism. "It will have a huge impact on the region, based south of Tangier, so additional hotels and the airport are all within 15 kilometres. It's a strategic project for the country, a very serious project, which needs to have the approval at the highest level. Ex-McLaren and Lotus team principal Eric Boullier has been tasked with bringing F1 to Morocco (Getty Images) 'If we get that, it will tick all the boxes of what F1 wants to achieve in Africa. It would make sense to hold F1 there, making it the pinnacle of the year, but with an ecosystem created to survive all year." Advertisement The project has already generated $800m of private investment, with the hope that more will be obtained if the spectacular plans are approved at the highest level in Morocco. Boullier was previously managing director of the French Grand Prix, last on the calendar in 2022 at Circuit Paul Ricard. F1 boss Stefano Domenicali has spoken numerous times of his focus on finding Africa a spot on the calendar, while Lewis Hamilton has also insisted that the sport must try and host a race on the continent.
