Love Island's Chloe Burrows confirms she's off the market after finding love
Love Island babe Chloe Burrows has confirmed she's officially off the market – but don't expect to see her packing on the PDA anytime soon.
The 28-year-old blonde beauty, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show back in 2021, has finally moved on from her high-profile split with Toby Aromolaran – and she's found love the old-fashioned way.
Speaking ahead of the release of her brand new Channel 4 documentary UNTOLD: Love in the Wild – The Real Dating Experiment, which drops tonight (June 4), Chloe spilled the tea on her new romance, her dating disasters, and why she's turned her back on dating apps for good.
'Yes, I've met someone in real life,' she confirmed with a smile. 'But I'm keeping this one private. No more public relationships for me.'
Chloe and Toby captured the nation's hearts during their time in the villa, eventually finishing as runners-up in the 2021 series. But after a whirlwind romance outside the show – complete with moving in together and red carpet appearances – things fizzled out, and the pair called it quits in 2022.
'After my other Untold documentary, I'm standing on business,' Chloe explained. 'I'm not having a public relationship again. It's not a secret, just something I want to keep to myself.'
In her new doc, which is part of Channel 4's hard-hitting UNTOLD strand, Chloe goes on a real-life dating mission to uncover why young Brits are ditching the apps and heading back to real-world romance. And spoiler alert – it gets messy.
From speed dating to awkward blind dates to full-on rock climbing with strangers, Chloe dives into every type of face-to-face flirting you can imagine – and she's got the bruises (and stories) to prove it and when it comes to her own dating life away from the show, it hasn't always been plain sailing.
'There's one guy who looked nothing like his profile pic,' she laughed as she detailed the time she was catfished. 'I evacuated immediately. I said I needed the loo and never came back.'
The documentary also dives into the dark side of app dating – from AI-generated profiles to safety concerns and ghosting culture. 'It's mad,' Chloe admitted. 'It's too easy to catfish now. You just don't know who's really behind the screen.'
And while she's still glued to Love Island like the rest of us, don't expect her to pop back into the villa any time soon – even for All Stars.
'No. Not for me,' she said firmly. 'I've done my bit. I've moved on. I'll still be watching though – I'm a fan just like everyone else. I love the routine of it – dinner done by 9, sit down and watch Love Island, then bed.'
The dating show returns next week for its 12th series marking a decade since its debut.
Since her Island days, Chloe's carved out a brand new career as a presenter and doc host. Her first UNTOLD film tackled the dark side of fame, and now she's back for round two – and loving it.
'I love getting stuck in. I'm not just narrating – I'm actually going through these experiences,' she said. 'Let us [Islanders] enjoy any opportunity we get. If it's not your thing, that's fine - watch something else. Trolls will always troll. But for those of us taking this route, good on us.'
And her advice for anyone still swiping left and right?
'Go outside. Go meet people. Honestly, try speed dating. The vibe was immaculate.'

How to ease social anxiety this summer
The summer can be packed with more social events than usual: weddings, work do's, big get-togethers. But if you are not a socially confident person, this can play havoc on your stress levels. Dr Julie Smith is here with some great hacks to get you through with confidence, from reframing the fear to the hidden power of small talk. New research from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (2025) reveals that social anxiety now affects over half of all Brits (54%) and nearly three-quarters (72%) of young people aged 16 to 24. Nearly two in three people say it has impacted their personal and professional lives. WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY? 1) Symptoms leading up to an event, aka anticipatory anxiety: this can present as… Not being able to focus on anything else prior to an event. Fretting for hours over what to wear and whether you will fit in. Excessively planning conversations and talking points. Generating excuses to cancel. Physical symptoms such as feeling sick or nauseous when getting ready, or being unable to eat before. 2) Symptoms during an event: Inward focus Covert avoidance Physical symptoms such as sweating, clammy hands, hypervigilance and a scattered mind. 3) Symptoms after an event: Ruminating on conversations and tearing yourself apart for every 'mistake' you made and imagining that they all judged you. WHY MIGHT SOCIAL ANXIETY BE MORE CHALLENGING IN THE SUMMER MONTHS? Busy social calendar: The summer can be packed with more social events than usual. Weddings, work do's, big get-togethers. But if you are not a socially confident person, this can play havoc on your stress levels. Longer days: Extended daylight hours can create pressure to be 'on', to be social, and can mean that social occasions go on longer. Change in routine: For people with anxiety, there is safety in routine, and knowing what to expect in your day. In summer, with holidays, longer days, and slightly different working hours, changes in routine can heighten levels of stress. THE HEAT AND HOT WEATHER CAN ALSO MAKE ANXIETY SYMPTOMS WORSE? Physically 'feeling the heat': Many of us know the feeling of being 'hot and bothered' during the warmer summer months, but we might not realise that there are biological reasons for this. The heat actually generates symptoms that mimic anxiety, so you might feel like you are going to have a panic attack when it's actually just the weather affecting your body. Increased temperatures cause higher cortisol levels and palpitations, nausea and fatigue. Humidity can cause symptoms of dizziness and dehydration. Body Image: With warmer weather, more revealing clothing that usually makes up one's summer wardrobe can trigger self-consciousness and exacerbate body image concerns, especially when there is pressure to go to the beach and wear swimwear. Additionally, people can become anxious about sweating and other physical symptoms being visible, and 'looking frazzled'. WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP EASE SUMMER ANXIETY? Here are some of Dr Julie's favourite hacks to get you through summer social events with confidence: 1) PREPARE BUT DON'T OVER-PREPARE: You don't need a script or to plan out conversations, as often that will make anxiety worse if things don't go exactly as you planned. Instead prepare a general path to follow, and set small meaningful tasks. For example, set yourself the task of finding out certain things about people you think you will see to connect, such as 'When I see Uncle Bob, I want to find out how his recent holiday was'. These small tasks can help you focus and stay present in conversation and stop you feeling overwhelmed. 2) BE THE 'WELCOMER': Focus on other people, rather than wait passively for someone to engage with you. We tend to go into a situation and wait for signs that someone is going to welcome us, which is a really passive approach. As the statistics show, over half of people say they feel socially anxious sometimes. Almost everyone at any event will have some understanding of how you are feeling, or will have felt it themselves. So instead of waiting to be welcomed, be the welcomer. Aim to help others feel more at ease and liked. 3) APPRECIATE THE POWER OF SMALL TALK: People often dismiss the hidden power of small talk in gradually building trust and connection through shared experience. What seems to be meaningless chitchat can actually be essential to forming initial connections and helping us get to a place of feeling like we know the other person. 4) UNDERSTAND THE 'SPOTLIGHT' EFFECT: We all overestimate how much people are thinking about us and judging us - this is the spotlight effect. Everybody is doing it, everybody is overestimating the amount that other people are being critical of them. The only time people estimate that correctly is when they are onstage, literally in the spotlight. 5) REWARD YOURSELF FOR SOCIAL INTERACTIONS: Try rewarding yourself for every social interaction, whether it went well or not, because every time you interact with people you are tackling your anxiety head on. DON'T reward yourself with external/material things - it's about internal praise. 6) BE WILLING TO EXPERIENCE AWKWARDNESS AND BE UNCOMFORTABLE When we feel awkward, it is usually because we have become distracted from the conversation by worrying about how we are coming across to others, rather than focusing on what they are saying. Be willing to experience shyness and awkward moments. 7) REMAIN GROUNDED AND TAKE A BIT OF TIME OUT IF YOU NEED TO: It's okay to take a moment if you need to, if you find yourself starting to feel anxious and disconnecting from what is around you. Counter physical overwhelm by focusing on your breathing. It is really important to care for your body and acknowledge when you are feeling physical symptoms that aren't actually to do with anxiety, but rather the heat. Make sure you are well-hydrated, and keep an eye on how the heat is affecting your body.

Angel, 26, opted for a plunging black dress with a see-through lace skirt, while lady in red Yas, 24, stunned in a one shoulder frock complete with a thigh-high slash. Shakira, 22, opted for a blue satin number while Toni, 24, switched it up with a black bandeau top and matching tulle skirt. Last night Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams were axed from the villa, just missing out on a place in the final, when ex-Islanders returned to cast the vote. And fans have backed their decision - insisting the controversial couple didn't deserve a spot in the final. Yas and Jamie, 26, are currently favourites to win the 2025 series. In a poll of Sun readers, they scored 28 per cent of the vote to scoop the prize, followed by Toni and Cach on 18.9 per cent and Shakira and Harry a whisker behind with 18.7 per cent. There's no denying Yas has been a stand-out Islander and made a splash the moment she entered the villa as a bombshell four days after the series kicked off. She stole the show when she offered 25-year-old Meg's boyfriend Dejon, 26, a threesome with her and Toni. And she had fans instantly obsessed with her perfect posture and quickly earned the nickname 'YasGPT' after a viral theory about her being an AI bot. One fan commented on social media at the time: 'Absolutely love her honesty. She could have been more ambiguous and led him down a path.' And another said: 'These are the kind of people who should be winning love island - setting an example of mature conversations.' Love Island finalist is ‘producer plant' claim fans after spotting FIVE clues
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island fans are convinced one show star is a "producer plant" just hours before the show final. They have claimed the ITV2 show hunk - who is battling it out for the £50k cash prize in tonight's final - "feels off" with a series of behaviour traits. The 23-year-old entered proceedings at the Casa Amor stage and coupled up with Shakira, with the pair then being voted the most compatible by the public. Yet a few days later, after briefly being coupled up with Lauren, he found a spark with Angel when she ranked him as her number one boy. Despite the duo appearing to go from strength to strength, a portion of fans are hugely sceptical about his place on the show. One took to Reddit to outline their view that the site engineer has been placed in the villa by show bosses and said: "Okay, hear me out. I genuinely think Ty might be a producer plant. "Just my POV, but there are too many things that feel off." They then outlined five reasons why this may be the case and argued: "Starting from Casa — he didn't seem to care much whether he ended up with Helena or Shakira. (Yes, maybe he just wanted to secure a spot, but the indifference felt too flat.). "When Shakira and Ty did the voting to dump a couple he just agreed with whatever Shakira said. "Then when Shakira dumped him for Conor, there was zero reaction. He was just suddenly was okay with Lauren." For the fourth reason, they continued: "Then, just as he's settling with Lauren, boom — Angel enters, and suddenly he dumps Lauren like a formality." Love Island's Ty kisses with his eyes open They then wrapped their argument and put: "And through all of this, no real emotional depth, no strong connections, and almost no air time. "It honestly seems like he's just going with whatever the producers lay out for him. He hasn't actively pursued anyone. No spark, no persuasion — just vibes and scripted transitions. "I feel like they brought in Angel mostly for Harry — and to stir things up. Ty would have been so cool to re-couple with Helena, especially since they didn't during Casa. Anyone else feel like something's off?" Fans were quick to respond to the wild claim. Another replied: "He's just not as attention seeking as other guys. All of them and none of them are producer plants. They are all told what to do by producers." A third then wrote: "I mean this would align with the fact Ty was on the dry run (where he both met and slept with Lauren before the show). "You definitely could be going somewhere with this but I'm unsure how much manipulation the producers can realistically do." COUPLE DOUBT The claims came after fans already had doubts about how committed Angel was to Ty. Eyebrows were raised as Ty asked Angel if they could 'go exclusive' – essentially making them boyfriend/girlfriend in all but name – yet her reaction left viewers believing there's doubt in place for Angel. Throw in their differing lifestyles, and some are thinking that they could already be on the way out. A Reddit poster explained: 'Hear me out. Angel is a fairly big Instagram influencer, who if you look at her instagram seems to be all about the boujee life. 'Her entire feed is her hanging with super stunning models all with huge followings on yachts in Spain, ski trips in the French Alps, constant trips to Dubai and seems to be living a pretty expensive glamorous life.' 'Ty is a sweetheart but does seem just like a genuine working class guy from a normal background,' they added. 'Absolutely nothing wrong with that, I just find it hard to believe this is the type of guy Angel is genuinely interested in with the lifestyle she projects on Instagram.' Other fans are convinced the duo had a connection before the show even started, while others were left confused by Ty's kissing technique. The remaining couples still in the villa and battling it out in the final are: Ty and Angel, Toni and Cach, Shakira and Harry, and Yasmin and Jamie.
