Miley Cyrus puts on a leggy display in a racy corset dress as she poses for selfies with her adoring fans outside the Four Seasons Hotel in New York

Miley Cyrus put on a leggy display in New York on Thursday as she stepped out in a racy corset dress with a fringed skirt. The hitmaker, 32, put her enviable body on full display in the unusual garment as she greeted fans outside the Four Seasons Hotel. She completed the look with a pair of matching brown high heels and several smaller pieces of silver jewellery, styling her hair in messy curls. The star opted for minimal makeup as she excitedly signed autographs and posed for selfies following the release of her latest album Something Beautiful. Miley has recently made several appearances in the Big Apple as she promotes her album, which was released on May 30. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The Pink Floyd-inspired album is said to focus on themes of healing, with Miley stating that it is very much a visual album and this appears to be reflected in her recent outfit choices. Miley's latest head-turning outfit comes after she turned heads on Wednesday in a see-through black dress. She wore a simple pair of black pants underneath the floor-length dress, daring to bear her nipples as she stepped out in New York City. The Hannah Montana alum's curly brunette hair was styled in a messy updo and she wore designer sunglasses over her eyes. As she emerged from the backseat of a black SUV, Miley was greeted by a crowd of adoring fans. With a bodyguard in close proximity, Miley stopped to sign autographs and snap selfies before heading inside a nearby building. It was later revealed by a fan that Miley took a subtle swipe at her famous ex-husband Liam Hemsworth during her sidewalk autograph session. A Miley superfan, who is also named Liam, revealed that Miley declared him 'the best Liam' as she signed his vinyl copy of Something Beautiful. 'Miley writing 'the Best Liam' on my vinyl [crying-emoji],' captioned the superfan Liam as he shared a photo of Miley's signature to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday. Liam and Miley confirmed their split in August 2019 and finalised their divorce in January 2020 after less than a year of marriage. The on/off couple first began dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of The Last Song and got engaged for the first time in May 2012. However, they then split up in September 2013 before reuniting in 2016, going on to tie the knot in December 2018 before splitting for good just eight months later. Miley has hinted at their problems in their relationship in her music, including alleged instances of infidelity. In 2021, Miley began dating her current boyfriend, Liily drummer Maxx Morando, who's one of the eight producers credited on her new album.

ADRIAN THRILLS reviews Miley Cyrus' Something Beautiful: Miley channels her inner Pink Flloyd for ambitious concept album

Verdict: Fearless but flawed The latest Miley Cyrus album certainly comes with a lofty billing. The former Disney Channel TV star claims that Something Beautiful is a concept piece that explores themes of healing, transformation and finding beauty in darkness. It's 'an attempt to medicate... a sick culture through music,' says Miley. And there's more. Supposedly influenced by Pink Floyd 's 1979 rock opera The Wall, and Alan Parker's surrealist 1982 film adaptation of it, the album is accompanied by a feature-length promotional film. It opens with an overture, titled Prelude, in which Cyrus intones a few spoken words about a railway journey in which passing landscapes are 'swallowed into the distance'. Later, two clattering instrumental interludes disrupt the flow. She came in like a wrecking ball. Is she now giving us her free-form jazz odyssey? Not quite. There are moments where the 32-year-old edges beyond what might be expected from a mainstream star. But, aside from a handful of songs addressing an uncertain romance, there's no real concept here. Something Beautiful is essentially a slick pop record with extra bells and whistles. Like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera in the 1990s – and Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo more recently – Miley has used Disney's all-round showbiz training as the springboard to a music career. She first made her mark playing fictional pop star Hannah Montana in the teen sitcom of the same name, but has matured into a raspy-voiced singer with an impressive range. As the Tennessee-born daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus (and goddaughter of Dolly Parton), she sings with a distinctive Nashville twang, and even took a detour into country on 2017's Younger Now. Something Beautiful, however, skips more haphazardly between genres. There are strong moments – but also a fair amount of filler. The best tracks arrive early. Sung with a Stevie Nicks-like huskiness, More To Lose is a heartache ballad. The title track is a soul song slightly spoiled by bombastic guitars. Built around a piano riff in the style of Abba's Dancing Queen, End Of The World finds Cyrus seeking a remedy for bad times by throwing 'a party like McCartney'. It's the big pop moment on an album that isn't exactly stuffed with bangers. The second half pivots to generic dance music. Walk Of Fame, a duet with Brittany Howard, frontwoman of the Alabama Shakes, is an energetic 1980s electro-pop pastiche. Every Girl You've Ever Loved contains a spoken-word cameo from Naomi Campbell. The idyllic love song Golden Burning Sun looks to the strain of 1970s soft-rock that helped to turn Harry Styles into a superstar. Despite all the grand statements, and an album sleeve in which Miley is draped in vintage Thierry Mugler couture, there's nothing as memorable as 2013's Wrecking Ball, 2020's Midnight Sky or 2023's double Grammy-winning Flowers here. But you can't accuse her of lacking ambition. LITTLE SIMZ: Lotus (AWAL) Rating: The BRIT-winning London rapper delivers a typically eclectic mix on her sixth album, embracing Latin rhythms, Afrobeats and finger-popping funk while adding more playfulness to her thoughtful, introspective storytelling. Working with new producer Miles Clinton James and Adele's string arranger Rosie Danvers, she nods to Amy Winehouse on humorous hometown playlet Young, and sings candidly on the piano-led Lonely. Michael Kiwanuka supplies intricate guitar on the title track. I Forgive You (Verve) Rating: The Oscar-nominated Wicked actress looks to add 'pop star' and 'singer-songwriter' to her impressive CV on this second solo album. Embracing soul and R&B without abandoning her roots in musical theatre, it places her spectacular voice front and centre. Divided into four acts to chronicle an evolving relationship, it opens with anguished ballads before the mood lightens on breathy bossa nova She Said. The trip-hop flavoured What You Want reiterates her range and power.

Liam Gallagher and children join forces for huge campaign ahead of Oasis tour

Liam Gallagher has posed with three of his children for a mega Burberry advert just weeks before he's due to hit the road with Oasis, and it's a fitting campaign Liam Gallagher's kids are a chip off the old block as they perfected his moody glare for a fitting Burberry campaign. The Oasis frontman joined forces with his three oldest children, Molly Moorish-Gallagher, 27, and sons Lennon, 25, and Gene, 23, for the photoshoot. The hitmaker and his children are fronting Burberry's Festival campaign ahead of a summer of live music - including Oasis' hotly anticipated reunion tour. Next month Liam and his older brother Noel will take to the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium – 16 years after the band split. ‌ It's claimed that Liam, 52, has signed a staggering £1million with the global fashion brand for their collection, which pays homage to British identities and live music. Posing in front of a motorhome, Liam and his children all modelled waterproofs from the collection – and it's no surprise he was wearing his signature Parka coat. ‌ Meanwhile, daughter Molly exuded festival glamour and style in a similar parka and a pair of matching wellies. Eldest son Lennon, lead singer of the band Automotive, rocked a classic Burberry tartan rainmac and shorts, and despite the collection being for a festival, opted for a more modest pair of trainers and black socks. Gene, who fronts the band Villanelle, kept his look very relaxed but stylish in a striking green jacket, which he completed with a more suiting pair of black trousers and boots. Although the collection was originally released in the summer of 2018, Liam's Christopher Bailey-designed jacket is being re-released this July ahead of Oasis's widely anticipated return. Lennon's look bears a striking similarity to his dad in the 1995 music video for Oasis's mega-anthem, Wonderwall. The campaign echoes Burberry as the go-to look at festivals, with the likes of Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Reading and Leeds coming up in the next few months. "Burberry sits at the centre of the summer calendar," said Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee. He added: "It's both a means of creative expression and a go-to uniform for festival goers." ‌ Reflecting on the campaign, Lee added: "Think of the campaign like a collage. Capturing off-duty fans and headline acts in between gigs." With Liam and his kids fronting the campaign, alongside names such as producer and DJ Goldie, Alexa Chung and Cara Delevingne, it's certainly fit to be rolled straight out for festival season. Burberry believes the "unique casting" of the Gallaghers and Goldie reinforces the legacy and appeal of the brand. ‌ Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! As the hotly anticipated Oasis reunion tour grows closer, the Mirror has launched its very own Oasis WhatsApp community where you'll get all the latest news on the Gallagher brothers and all the information you'll need in the run up to the gigs. We'll send you the latest breaking updates and exclusives all directly to your phone. Users must download or already have WhatsApp on their phones to join in. Unfortunately for Oasis fans, they aren't the soundtrack for the campaign. That duty has fallen to Liquid's hit, Sweet Harmony, which has been a staple at British festivals since its release in 1991. Ahead of Oasis taking to the stage next month, fans have been wondering if there's a future for the once-warring siblings. When asked by a fan if they can have more dates, ideally a string of shows at Knebworth playing to 125,000 people, Liam replied: "Let's see how this tour goes and if we still love each other after it." When asked by the Mirror how rehearsals are going, Liam told us: "Dangerous." Meanwhile, videos have circulated on social media, with audio clips of the band apparently rehearsing the anthems Cigarettes & Alcohol and Fade Away. He told fans that it was his idea to have both songs on the setlist for the most anticipated tour.
