Al Manar29-03-2025

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed on Saturday that International Al-Quds Day, announced by the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Ruhollah Khomeini to be every last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan, is a day of solidarity with the occupied Al-Quds and all the oppressed all over the world against the tyrants trying to conquer the peoples.
Delivering a televised speech which marks International Al-Quds Day, Sheikh Qassem referred to Imam Khomeini who considered that Al-Quds Day is concerned with the confrontation between all the oppressed and all the occupiers and torturers.
Sheikh Qassem also cited the Supreme Leader Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei statement which affirmed that the Palestinian cause is not tactical, but religious and strategic with respect to Iran.
Sheikh Qassem maintained that, since the announcement of International Al-Quds Day, significant developments have come in favor of the Palestinian cause in light of the fall of the Shah regime.
Al-Aqsa Flood
Hezbollah leader indicated that the advancement of the resistance capabilities allowed it to carry out 'Operation Al-Aqsa Flood' which internationalized the Palestinian cause.
Israeli is a cancerous and expansionist gland used by the US arrogance, according to Hezbollah leader who added that only the resistance obliged the Zionist scheme to back off in certain regions.
Sheikh Qassem affirmed that the Palestinian people will certainly emerge victorious, highlighting the divine promise in this regard.
Hezbollah Support to Gaza
Hezbollah believes in the rightfulness of the Palestinian cause and the necessity for liberating the sanctities in Palestine, his eminence said, underlining the religious authority of Imam Khamenei pertaining to this issue.
Sheikh Qassem pointed out that Lebanon's interest lies in supporting the Palestinian cause in order to confront the settler and naturalization schemes, reiterating the slogan: 'We are committed to the covenant, O' Al-Quds'.
Hezbollah support to Gaza was crowned by the martyrdom of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, Sheikh Qassem said.
Israeli Threats
Sheikh Qassem stressed that Lebanon is targeted by the Israeli schemes of building settlements and naturalizing the Palestinian refugees, stressing that only the resistance can deter the enemy.
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that the Resistance cannot prevent the enemy's attacks, yet it can frustrate its goal, adding that the Resistance managed to prevent a large-scale Israeli military invasion during the recent war.
Expansion, resistance eradication and control of Lebanon's destiny are the three main targets of the Israeli enemy backed by the US arrogance, according to Sheikh Qassem, who added that the Resistance frustrated those goals and obliged the enemy to accept the ceasefire.
Hezbollah Stance
Sheikh Qassem stressed that Hezbollah has given the chance for the Lebanese state to assume its responsibilities regarding the defense against the enemy, adding that the Resistance Party categorically rejects the normalization of ties between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy.
Hezbollah may never accept a new formula according to which the Israeli enemy continuously violates the Lebanese sovereignty and launches attacks, Sheikh Qassem stressed.
'The chance given to the state to defend Lebanon is not endless, and we are not weak in face of the US-Israeli schemes.'
If we reach a situation in which the enemy launches limitless attacks and blatantly violates the ceasefire, Hezbollah will not keep watchful, Sheikh Qassem stressed.
Sheikh Qassem underlined the feats of the resistance people in the confrontation with the occupation forces in South Lebanon in addition to the heavy participation in the historic funeral of Hezbollah's two Secretary-Generals Martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Martyr Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.
Over the past weeks, I have received several letters from a number of Hezbollah fighters asking for a permission to carry out martyrdom attacks, Sheikh Qassem said.
Sheikh Qassem noted that he asked them to keep patient during this stage in order to gain the divine victory.
Finally, Hezbollah Secretary General stressed that the Resistance Party also contributes to the path of the state reform and construction, calling on the government to work for the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon and start effectively implementing the plan of reconstructing the buildings and infrastructure destroyed by the Zionist war on Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem also denied Hezbollah involvement in Lebanon's eastern border incidents, calling on the Lebanese Army to protect the Lebanese towns from the attacks of the Syrian armed groups.
Hezbollah is not involved in Syria incidents during which massacres were perpetrated against the Alawites and Christians, Sheikh Qassem added.
