Moment furious motorist blows up as he denies scratching car in alleged crash - while other driver insists they have 'matching' scratches
The heated confrontation unfurled in the middle of a quiet residential road in the seaside town of Worthing, West Sussex, on Friday.
Footage shows the driver of a grey Nissan denying that he was involved in an accident.
'I didn't hit your f****** car, prove it,' the angry motorist can be heard saying.
The other driver, who filmed the clip and gave only his first name as James, then claims that the damage on his car is 'consistent' with the mark left on the Nissan.
The pair then begin shouting at each other in the middle of the street as shocked passersby watch on.
At one point the grey Nissan driver goads the other motorist to call the police as he continues to deny that he hit his car.
James said: 'He came right up in my face and was punching his fist into his hand, then goading me trying to get me to hit him.
'I stood calmly and said I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. From the word go his was lit, so aggressive.
'In the end I asked him to provide his details. He replied "No, I don't see why I should".
'The guy with his shirt off said, "just go through the insurance company, they will sort it out you have his reg number he can't go anywhere".
'I said, "I will do that and he will just deny it".
'More people started appearing on the street to see what was happening with the raised voices.
'The aggressor then left went inside and I jumped back in my car and drove home.
'I reported to the police online (they never turned up in the end as that is what we were all waiting for).
'They said, "anyone injured?" we said "no'" and they said they were not going to attend.
'I notified my insurance company with the boring admin.
'I posted a link of the video on the Nextdoor app to see if anyone local knew of him and a woman called Caroline mentioned she had run in with him previously.'

A fourth person has been found dead beneath cliffs near Whitby Abbey in just four days. Emergency services were called to the iconic beach 11.01am today after reports a woman's body had been found found at Sandsend near Whitby Abbey. 'The coastguard helicopter arrived in an hour and we witnessed the horrific scene of them being winched from the beach to waiting ambulances on the cliff top.' A woman aged in her 60s was also found dead by the cliffs near Whitby Pavilion on Thursday. North Yorkshire Police said: 'It has been confirmed that the woman is aged in her 50s and from the local area. 'Officers are supporting the woman's family at this difficult time. 'The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.' The force added: 'There are no connections between this sudden death, the sudden deaths of a man and woman below Whitby Abbey on Wednesday 30 July or the woman below Whitby Abbey on Thursday 31 July.' Murdered mother and children ‘together and finally safe'
Crowds flooded into the Co Clare village of Barefield for the funeral of Vanessa Whyte, 45, and her children James Rutledge, 14, and Sara Rutledge, 13, who died in a shooting at their home in Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh. Many of the mourners wore GAA jerseys and bright colours as requested by the family as they lined the main street to watch the three hearses pass by. Delivering the eulogy, Ms Whyte's sister Regina said they have been robbed of their loved ones. 'Vanessa, James and Sara were taken from this world in a cruel and vicious manner – there are no words available to express how this has impacted our family and their friends,' she said. 'We as a family have been robbed of both a relationship with our sister and a chance to see James and Sara grow up, and they have been robbed of the remainder of their lives. 'It has taken us 11 days to be in a position to have Vanessa, James and Sara back to Clare. Crowds turned out for the service (Noel Sweeney/PA) 'This was supposed to be a joyous occasion where Vanessa would see her new nephew, and Sara and James would meet their baby cousin for the first time. 'Vanessa will have her children at either side of her forever, as they were when they were alive.' She described her sister as 'witty, bright, kind and determined', and said James and Sara were the 'focus of her world'. She recalled James's love of the GAA, playing both hurling and football, and also cricket, adding he has been acknowledged as the 'kind, bright, determined teenager we as a family know so well'. 'James's smile was infectious, and his loyalty was strong,' she said. Amazing Grace and Somewhere Over The Rainbow were among the music played during the service. Bishop Ger Nash, Bishop of Ferns and a family friend, described heartbreak over the 'tragic and unspeakable loss of three lives with so much to give to the world'. Delivering the homily, he said every story and shared memory since their deaths 'reminds us of the irreplaceable part they played in the lives of their families, their community, their schools, workplaces, teams and clubs'. 'The tragic events of last week, and the ripping away of three people from their family and friends leave us searching for answers and coming back again and again to the only answer that is completely true: 'We don't know',' he said.
