Bessemer police searching for woman believed to be abducted
Police said Jessica Faith Carrell, 38, was last seen around 12:48 a.m. wearing a blue shirt and a camo shirt near Dusty Lane in Bessemer.
Carrell is described as 5'7″ and 165 pounds with green eyes and black hair. Police believe Carrell is in danger.
The Bessemer Police Department believes Carrell was abducted by 43-year-old Jimmy Aaron Boothe and may be traveling in a black 2010 Honda Accord with a tag reading 7A01840.
Anyone with information regarding Carrell's whereabouts is asked to call Bessemer police at 205-425-2411 or 911.

Bath man accused of giving alcohol, sexually abusing teen
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Bath man is accused of providing alcohol to a juvenile and engaging in sexual contact with her, according to New York State Police. Police say the incident happened the night of July 30. Investigators allege Coby R. Causer, 25, gave alcohol to the girl before the sexual contact occurred. Woman found with head stuck in donation box dies

CSPD: Commercial building damaged in single-vehicle crash
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cheyenne Meadows Road, near South Nevada Avenue, that damaged a business on Friday, Aug. 8. According to CSPD, when officers and crew from the Colorado Springs Fire Department arrived at the scene at around 8:30 p.m., they found that a car had hit a commercial building in the 800 block of Cheyenne Meadows Road. The business was closed, and no one was injured, including the driver of the vehicle. CSPD stated that the property was significantly damaged inside the building due to the crash.
