AMMAN — A new Jordanian aid convoy carrying essential food supplies crossed into the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to a statement from the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO). The convoy, which included 31 trucks loaded with food items, was dispatched in coordination with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). It is part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian population amid the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. JHCO said in the statement, carried by Al Mamlaka TV, that the aid aims to meet the urgent needs of Gaza's residents, who continue to face severe shortages of food, medicine, and other basic necessities. JHCO said that it will continue to deliver aid through multiple channels, including coordinated airdrops, overland convoys, and the operation of field hospitals., in coordination with Jordan Armed Forces -Arab Army to bolster Gaza's strained medical infrastructure.
