All the celebrity style from Glastonbury 2025: Mia Regan, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Adwoa Aboah
It's that time of year again, when London's great and good vacate the city — and beg, borrow and steal their way to Somerset.
Having secured tickets (or at least bought a ticket off someone with a similar shade of hair), the chicest Londoners spent the weekeend peering over each other's shoulders to see who had the best hospitality access: were they staying off-site at The Pig with Barbour (Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Adwoa Aboah), sequestered in PR overlord Fran Cutler's Winnebago A-list zone (Sienna Miller, Oli Green, et al), at Holt Farm — the posh independent campsite next door — or (gasp) the bog-standard general campsite?
Wherever they slept, everyone turned out a look. First to Barbour, then, where a crack team including Adwoa Aboah, Lily James, Bilile Piper, Will Poulter Jessie Ware, Ncuti Gatwa and society girls Lady Lola Bute and Jazzy De Lisser all decamped early — and obediently dressed head to toe in the British outerwear label.
Inside the festival, it was Mia Regan — model, hiker, and ex-girlfriend of Romeo Beckham — who turned heads in an outfit she's hinted online she might well have designed herself. More on that later. Rina Lipa, Dua's sister, meanwhile opted for a red slip, big black boots and Jimmy Choo's 'Cinch' bag.
This year's line-up was as eclectic as ever. Friday saw The 1975 headline the Pyramid Stage, while earlier slots were filled by Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi. Saturday saw Neil Young & the Chrome Hearts close the night, preceded by rising star Raye and a secret act listed only as 'Patchwork' (aka Pulp).
Sunday wrapped with Olivia Rodrigo, the youngest woman ever to headline Glasto, with Rod Stewart (joined by Ronnie Wood), Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Noah Kahan. Elsewhere, Charli XCX, The Prodigy, LCD Soundsystem, Loyle Carner, and Gracie Abrams headlined across the other stages, while surprise sets — which kicked off with Lorde's unannounced opening performance — kept everyone guessing.
As it closes out for another year, here's all the best dressed celebrities to attend Glastonbury 2025.

Pedro Pascal and JK Rowling are trading insults, their feud explained
Pedro Pascal and J.K. Rowling have been making headlines over the past week after a Vanity Fair interview addressed earlier remarks The Mandalorian star made about Rowling's relentless anti-trans crusade. Now, Rowling has responded. But first, let's back up and take a look at the bigger picture of why these two are going at it in the first place. — (@) In April 2025, Rowling made a cruel post celebrating a Supreme Court ruling in the UK defining "sex" as referring to biological sex rather than gender identity. "I love it when a plan comes together," she wrote on X, sharing a picture of her smoking a cigar with a glass of what appears to be whiskey in hand. It sparked plenty of backlash, including an Instagram video from activist Tariq Raouf urging people to boycott all things Harry Potter to send a message that transphobia doesn't pay. In the comments of that post, Pascal chimed in: "Awful disgusting SHIT is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior." — (@) The Last of Us star's comments went viral as fans praised him for once again standing up in support of trans rights and transphobes cried about it. In June, Vanity Fair published a lengthy interview with Pascal that included a quick conversation about his decision to speak out against Rowling and the larger response to it. "The one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, 'Am I helping? Am I fucking helping?'" he admitted. "It's a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected." This is a good opportunity to point out that Pascal does have a personal reason to care about the constant attacks against trans people. He's very close with his younger sister, Lux, who came out as trans in 2021. "Listen, I want to protect the people I love," he added when speaking with Vanity Fair. "But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me fucking sick." — (@) Despite having no qualms throwing her considerable influence and finances around to turn the tides against trans people, Rowling has repeatedly shown that she's unable to take criticism for her cruelties without petty responses. And she proved it again after Pascal's interview circulated online. At the end of June, she posted an image containing a picture of Pascal and the headline of a gayety article covering his interview: "Pedro Pascal Shuts Down Rowling, Defends Trans Rights, and Reflects on Fame at 50." "Can't say I feel very shut down, but keep at it, Pedro," she wrote. "God loves a trier." As Ray Flook at Bleeding Cool pointed out, her remarks didn't make much sense. She seemed to be interpreting a headline summarizing the content as Pascal himself claiming to have shut her down. It's also unclear what her assertion that "God loves a trier" really has to do with anything. Maybe it's time for Rowling to put down that whiskey glass — or get all that mold checked out. The 1940s Vogue Photographer Who Turned His Lens to the Male Muses of Fire Island
If you read Vogue in the 1940s, one name more than any other appeared beneath its photographs: George Platt Lynes. In nearly every issue, he captured portraits of models, like Lisa Fonssagrives (later the wife of Irving Penn), socialites like Babe Paley, or actors like Burt Lancaster and Joan Crawford wearing the latest fashions; in 1947, the magazine even asked him to lead their West Coast studio. His work was polished, prim, and proper at a time where society prioritized all things polished, prim, and proper. But Lynes had another, more secretive aesthetic that was quite the opposite. George Platt Lynes's photograph of author Wilbur Pippin, Fire Island, c.1948–1952. Private collection, courtesy of In the village of Saltaire on Fire Island—now a famous gay enclave, but back then, an emerging one—he took risqué, fashion-forward pictures of men in the nude or close to it. The imagery was relaxed, dynamic, and evocative—although never pornographic: 'They're more about the body as form,' says James Crump, film director, art historian, and author of George Platt Lynes: Photographs from the Kinsey Institute. Debutantes: Ann Burton, Nancy Young, and Marilyn Mueller. Photographed by George Platt Lynes, Vogue, April 1948 Babe Paley, shot by George Platt Lynes for Vogue. Photographed by George Platt Lynes, Vogue, October 1945 At Vogue, Lynes often turned his lens on wealthy women. But on Fire Island, Lynes focused on subjects like ballet dancers or male models—or just attractive men that he heard of through word of mouth. 'I always believed that Lynes photographed a lot of men who knew how to fix a car, but the difference was that he made them look like they went to Yale,' Bruce Weber once said of the photographer. For Vogue, he used a static, bulky camera in his studio. On Fire Island, however, he often embraced a point-and-shoot, as well as natural light. 'The photographs are much more relaxed, much more playful, much more eroticized. Not the formal, elegant type of images he's so known for in fashion,' Crump adds. He found an artistic community with Paul Cadmus, Jared and Margaret French—a photographic collection known as PaJaMa—and together, they began quietly subverting the notion that gay identity was worth capturing in all its beauty, rather something that needed to hidden. (PaJaMa also often treated Lynes like a model—we've included some of their portraits of him in this article.)

Teen Was Denied Babysitting Payment for Wearing 'Inappropriate' Brandy Melville Tank Top. Then the Internet Rallied Behind Her
A 15-year-old took to Reddit and shared that she was denied her full babysitting payment because of her choice of attire The teenager wore a spaghetti strap Brandy Melville tank top with a cardigan over it for extra coverage during the babysitting job The parents of the children attempted to dock her payment on grounds of her clothes being inappropriateBrandy Melville is popular with tween and teen girls for its girlish take on wardrobe staples, from cropped baby tees to tank tops with lacy trim and dainty satin bows. But one of the brand's core items left one teenager fighting to receive her full babysitting payment. A 15-year-old high school student, Mae, took to Reddit to share the unexpected reaction she received for wearing Brandy Melville's Skylar Stripe Lace Tank Top — a spaghetti strap v neck tank with delicate lace trim — to a routine babysitting job. She added that she wore 'a sweatshirt over my tank top and only took it off after the kids asked me to run around with them.' The teen included snapshots of the texts between her and Marianne, the mother of the two girls she babysat for in April. "I just wanted to reach out because I haven't gotten my payment," she wrote in the messages. "I know you guys celebrate Good Friday and Easter so I totally get that it probably slipped off your radar, but if you could Venmo me when you have the chance, that would be fantastic!" Marianne told the teen over text that her babysitting outfit, which also included tan fleece sweatpants, was inappropriate and noted that her pay for that evening would be docked accordingly. "We do not feel comfortable paying you the full amount after you wore such an inappropriate clothing to our house," the parent texted back. "The kids love you and we are more than happy to give you a second chance, but we cannot pay you more that [than] $50 after you wore that outfit." The teen responded, "I just wanted to be in something flexible to run around in with Sarah and Eliza. $50 honestly does not feel [like] enough money for two kids and seven hours. I understand you do not feel okay paying me full price, but I'd be willing to do half of what I normally charge." In the caption of the post, Mae asked Reddit users if she was overreacting to the situation. She also gave a breakdown of her pricing, noting that she typically charges $20 for two kids and babysat the children between 4 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The response to the teen's messages were overwhelmingly supportive and saw multiple users in the replies praising her for being respectful and well mannered, despite the difficult situation. "[Your mom] should call them and f------SHAME them. Make sure your mom shames them for being predators who lust for teens," one user wrote. "Make sure you tell everyone teen girls are not safe there because they sexualize young women." Another comment read, "If they were uncomfortable with your clothing they could have had a conversation with you. [In my opinion,] it's just shady behavior and an excuse not to pay up. I also agree with what others are saying about them sexualizing you. It's not cool." Mae followed up the next day with an update after getting over 68,000 Upvotes and 4,600 comments on her original post. The teen told her mother about the situation, who sent Marianne an email for attempting to pay her less for the babysitting job. "She never got a response ... ," she wrote. The teen attached additional screenshots of the text exchange of how the situation with Marianne resolved. "While I feel awful that I offended you and Dan, we had never gone over rules about clothing," she wrote in the messages. "I think that it is the best decision for both of us if you pay me in total and we can put this behind us." is now available in the Apple App Store! Marianne said it was "disheartening" to see Mae "turn into another version of your mother," but ultimately sent the $150 in full. "I do not think we will be using [you] as a sitter anymore," the parent added, to which Mae replied, "I highly doubt I will be recommending you to any of my friends who want to get into babysitting."
