Derby and Epsom tips and best bets as Ballydoyle ace fancied for Classic triumph
Bermuda Longtail (1:00) can soar for Andrew Balding in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes.
The filly opened her account with an impressive defeat of Dash Of Azure at Kempton.
She stayed a mile well when second to Glittering Surf up in class on her return there.
The bay raised her game again when edged out by Kon Tiki in Listed Company at York.
The three-year-old was slightly unlucky so she can gain compensation slightly up in trip.
Balding can also claim the Northern Dancer Handicap with Candyman Stan (4:15).
The four-year-old developed into a reasonable performer over middle distances last year.
The gelding showed a liking for undulating tracks when slamming Annexation at Brighton.
He handled the similar terrain at Lingfield just as well when cosily denying Charlie's Choice.
He is tailor-made for the demands of Epsom so he can make light of a reasonable 5lb hike.
Docklands (1:35) can land the odds for Harry Eustace in the Betfred Diomed Stakes.
The gelding hit new heights when pipping New Endeavour in the 2023 Britannia at Ascot.
He put in his best shift since when second to Charyn in the following season's QEII there.
Not as good after, bay began this term with a near-miss to Sardinian Warrior at that track.
That is terrific form so the five-year-old can put that run to good use in another hot event.
Mademoiselle (2:10) can turn on the style for George Scott in the Three-Year-Old Dash.
The sprinter built on some solid efforts when brushing aside Bella Love in a Thirsk maiden.
She kept up the good work with a game defeat of Nightbird in a trappy novice at Southwell.
The filly was even better when narrowly denied by Ruby's Profit on her return at Goodwood.
The Team Amo raider should be primed so she can turn the tables on her foe at these weights.
Clarendon House (2:45) can make his class tell for Robert Cowell in the Epsom Dash.
The gelding recorded another personal best when routing Erosandpsyche in a Cork Listed event.
The seven-year-old then struggled to match that performance with some lesser form up in class.
However, he hit back when comfortably denying Marshman back in a Listed event at Southwell.
The bay was as good as ever when third to Rumstar in the Group 3 Palace House at Newmarket.
The speedster remains on song so he can shrug-off a welter-burden back in handicap company.
War Hawk (5:00) can swoop for Team Crisford in the competitive Lester Piggott Handicap.
The gelding benefited from stepping up to 1m 2f when hosing up from Bownder at Lingfield.
Lacklustre at Nottingham, he returned to form with a superb second to Gunship at Newcastle.
The bay didn't mind switching back to turn when hacking up from Magellan Cloud at Chester.
The three-year-old scored with plenty in hand so he can land a better event for his in-form yard.
Circe (5:40) looks absolutely spell-binding for Richard Hannon in the closing Tokyo Trophy.
The filly go her act together when second to Cruyff Turn over seven furlongs at Doncaster.
She continued her revival when just denying Santa Savana dropped in trip at Newmarket.
The four-year-old raised her game again with a game defeat of Change Sings at Windsor.
Circe remains in peak form so she can defy a fair 4lb rise for her thriving connections.
1:00 BERMUDA LONGTAIL
1:35 DOCKLANDS
2:10 MADEMOISELLE
2:45 CLARENDON HOUSE
3:30 DELACROIX (NAP)
4:15 CANDYMAN STAN
5:00 WAR HAWK
5:40 CIRCE

Tornado Alert enjoying well-deserved break
Tornado Alert is on a break before some lucrative targets in the Middle East beckon. Saeed bin Suroor's latest Group One winner had been asked four stiff questions in the first half of the season, running in the 2000 Guineas, Derby and at Royal Ascot before his success in Germany. The Godolphin trainer now has his sights set on Bahrain before taking him out to Dubai and potentially Saudi Arabia. 'He's fine, in good form, but I've given him a break. It's likely that I'll keep him back for the race in Bahrain (International Trophy, November 14),' said Bin Suroor. 'I just want to give him an easy time and miss York as he had been very busy, he ran in the Guineas, then the Derby, then Royal Ascot. 'I'll get him started on some light exercise, then in September we can start working him before going to Bahrain, he'll be ready for it. He needed a break.' He added: 'After Bahrain I'll take him to Dubai and if he's good enough, I'll take him to Saudi Arabia. We'll see how good he is on the dirt first and if not he can run in the turf race, I'll have to see.'
