Patriots DT Christian Barmore studying four linemen for 2025 season
New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore has been studying some of the best defensive linemen in the league in preparation for the 2025 season.
He is doing the extra homework in hopes of maximizing his potential in a defensive system that allows him to get upfield more often. That has led to him studying other big, athletic defensive linemen, such as Jeffery Simmons, Chris Jones, DeForest Buckner and Cameron Heyward.

Barmore is looking to have a bounce-back year after missing most of the 2024 season due to blood clots. He has participated in all of the offseason work up to this point. That's a good sign for his availability for training camp and ultimately Week 1 of the regular season.
Before the blood clot issues, Barmore was emerging as one of the best young defensive tackles in the league.
A healthy Barmore will make a strong Patriots defensive line even more lethal, particularly with some of the other additions they've made to the roster, including adding Super Bowl champion defensive tackle Milton Williams.

Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift enjoy rare night out at Stanley Cup Final Game 4
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be enchanted with hockey now. The star couple was on hand at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Panthers and Oilers. Kelce wore a red top with red shorts as he rocked a white and red 'Palm Tree Crew' Panthers hat while Swift appeared to keep her look neutral in an off-white top and bottom. Advertisement Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attend Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final Swift, 35, has had plenty of viral hockey moments in life, including a reveal of the 2009-10 Predators then-new third jerseys during a concert in Nashville and, four years later, taking a picture with former Hurricanes star Joel Skinner, even holding up his jersey. She also donned Islanders gear in a skit with Jimmy Fallon for the 'Tonight Show' in 2015. Advertisement Kelce, who previously posted about his love of playoff hockey, and his brother Jason debated in October on the 'New Heights' podcast about which NHL players could also play in the NFL, and they named Oilers star Connor McDavid as one who could. In April, a source told Page Six that Swift and Kelce have enjoyed a 'special' offseason, which has largely been low-key after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles. 'They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them,' the source said. Advertisement 'Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,' a source told People on Thursday. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule. 'This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.' The Panthers entered Game 4 leading the series 2-1.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stunned hockey fans at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stunned hockey fans at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final With a 2-1 lead in the 2025 Stanley Cup Final over the Edmonton Oilers, the Florida Panthers entered Thursday night's game hoping to inch a little bit closer to hoisting the trophy. The Panthers — who won the Stanley Cup last year after defeating, you guessed it, the Oilers — already had high excitement for Game 4. Well, the excitement ratcheted up a little bit more as celebrity super couple Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were in the house at in Sunrise, Florida to take in the game. The 14-time Grammy winner and 3-time Super Bowl champ have been dating since summer of 2023, and the duo has frequently attended sporting events in the Chiefs' offseason. Kelce, who had golfed in Fort Lauderdale earlier in the day, wore an all-red get up while the The Tortured Poets Department singer donned a cream-colored shorts ensemble with booties. The pair were filmed entering the arena hand-in-hand just after the game started. The couple was seen taking the game in, cuddled up together in the stands and looking at something on Kelce's phone. With the history between these two teams and the stakes of the game, it seems like Swift and Kelce have chosen the best possible time to take in their first hockey game together.
