Influencer sparks 'stratospheric' national demand for new chocolate bars
THE owner of a much-loved Carlisle chocolate shop has thanked his 'fantastic' local support after a decadent new range of chocolate bars grabbed national attention.
Chocolatier Keith Tattersall, founder of Castle Chocolates on Fisher Street, has promised local customers they remain his 'number one priority' as online sales of his new range of deep-filled bars went 'into the stratosphere'.
All of Castle Chocolates' products are handmade on the Fisher Street premises.
Varieties of the deep-filled bars, which retail at £6.95, are Caramel Shortbread, Dubai, Biscoff, Double Decker, and Hazelnut.
A Cookies and Cream version hasn't been made since week one, said Keith, due to difficulties sourcing some ingredients.
Since launching the range of bars around five weeks ago, online stock has been selling out often within minutes of its twice-weekly online release (4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays), and Keith said he and his team are working 'round the clock' to keep up with soaring demand.
"The locals supported us from day one", said Keith.
"So we want to do the same in a situation like this where everyone nationally wants the bars, we've got to prioritise having that stock in store."
Keith said orders are coming in from every corner of the UK since the bars were championed in a video released on the Northern Nic's Back Kitchen social media channel, which has over 200,000 Facebook followers.
"She's doing wonders for promoting local businesses and getting them national recognition, as we have so many amazing artisan producers here in Cumbria", Keith said.
"I'm just one of them and she's been helping all of us out.
"We've got a great following, and hopefully a great product, which a lot of people have tried and passed on the word locally.

"She's helped something that was going brilliantly, into the stratosphere."
Keith said that the demand for the Dubai variety in particular has been 'crazy' but sales of the rest of his handmade chocolates have risen thanks to increased media attention brought by his new range.

He also gave 'huge thanks' to his staff who have 'really pulled their weight, doing extra hours and helping out wherever they can'.
Asked whether he had any other creations in the pipeline, Keith said: "We had ideas to bring out other flavours, maybe a dark chocolate filled bar, but at the moment, we're just trying to get on top of current demand."

Circle (CRCL) IPO Soars, Sparks Talk of Crypto Public Listing Boom
Circle (CRCL, Financials), the issuer of USDC, saw its shares jump 245% in its debut weekan explosive public market entrance that could set off a wave of crypto IPOs, according to a new report from Bybit. The Dubai-based exchange, which ranks second globally by volume, said Circle's oversubscribed offering and first-week surge underscore rising institutional appetite for crypto equities. Analysts at Bybit believe Wall Street significantly underpriced the deal, underestimating demand and the sector's valuation dynamics. Advertisement The Circle IPO isn't just about one companyit's a signal that crypto is being taken seriously in traditional markets, the report noted. The Bybit Crypto Insights report names six other crypto-native companies preparing for public listings, including blockchain security firm Fireblocks and data analytics provider Chainalysis. Each is expected to draw multi-billion-dollar valuations amid a friendlier regulatory environment under the new U.S. administration. Bybit says this is a "reset moment" for how investment bankers approach crypto businesses, with conventional valuation models proving insufficient for companies native to decentralized finance. Da Nang to target luxury tourism from Dubai's elite
DA NANG, VIETNAM - Media OutReach Newswire – 10 June 2025 - The direct route between Dubai and Da Nang, operated by Emirates – one of the world's most prestigious airlines – has officially launched. These flights from the Middle East, a fast-growth region, are expected to bring significant changes to the coastal city. Sustaining long-term appeal for this class of affluent travellers is now a central concern for Da Nang. The inaugural Emirates flight to Da Nang received a ceremonial welcome. Potential from the Middle East Emirates, recently named a global leader in aviation by Forbes Travel Guide 2025, is the largest airline in the Middle East with over 4,100 flights each week from Dubai International Airport to more than 140 cities across 80 countries. The new direct route to Da Nang is a gateway for billionaires from one of the wealthiest regions on earth to access Vietnam's central coast, carrying immense spending power. It also facilitates the arrival of high-end travellers from Europe and the Americas, as Dubai ranks among the world's busiest international transit hubs. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, as of April 2025, over 13,000 visitors from Middle Eastern countries had arrived in the city. This figure represents 0.73 percent of total international visitors, with most travellers coming from Iran, Israel and Turkey. With the new Emirates route now in operation, this number is expected to rise sharply, potentially adding trillions of Vietnamese dong in tourism revenue to the local economy. In recent years, Da Nang has made notable progress in diversifying into new high-potential markets. With a keen focus on growth, the city is extending its tourism outreach to areas including the Middle East and Central Asia. Centrum-Air Airways is also operating a weekly service from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. According to Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, the launch of the Emirates Dubai–Da Nang route reduces the travel gap between Da Nang and major global markets such as the Middle East, Europe, North America and Africa. It also helps to strengthen tourism development and opens new avenues for trade, investment, and cultural exchange. By establishing itself on the Emirates flight map, Da Nang has taken a strategic step forward in tapping into the Middle Eastern tourism market. This new air route is not only a catalyst for tourism growth but also a gateway for expanding trade, investment and cultural cooperation, said Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
