The arrogance of terrorism needs to be condemned
As sympathy is demanded for the Palestinians by the likes of E Essa and Alaa Nassar, I fail to understand how, when Hamas attacks Israel at a music festival, any sane person would demand such undeserved grace for the people of Gaza.
Israel gave the Gazans multiple chances before for the acceptance of democratic autonomy, but they blew it by electing the bloodthirsty Hamas Neanderthals who would act as proxies for the IRGC.
It is well documented that since 1979, the Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, always had one agenda in mind: suppression of his people, especially the women, and the destruction of Israel and so-called Zionism.
I am sorry, but reading some of the disturbing doctrine written by the Islamic government of Iran, involving young babies and the overall treatment of women, regarding sex-related dos and don'ts, shocked me to my core! It is no wonder that this ideology is causing so much havoc around the globe! This government cannot even honour its people! It is much like the ANC of South Africa! It doesn't hesitate to oppress. It only seeks its ideological advancements. It thrives on the demise of its people.
It forges ahead with reckless abandon. You only need to consider the ICJ case brought forward by none other than self-proclaimed Islamist, Naledi Pandor! What we see happening now in the UK, with so many Islamic ministers taking charge, is a full-on assault on Western civilisation.
The recent success of Zohran Mamdani in New York sends shivers down the spines of freedom-loving Americans, and so it should! Trump calls Mamdani a '100% Communist lunatic", and I am not surprised! Radical Islam, coupled with ongoing terror attacks on innocent civilians, should be a serious wake-up call to all who love freedom.
The longer we sympathise with false pro-Palestine propaganda, the further away we will find ourselves from the truth! Terror acts committed by the Proxies of Iran should be called out for exactly what it is: terrorism! We must stop fooling ourselves by trying to sympathise with a people who have little or nothing to do with South African people!
The mere fact that there are rumblings about the ANC having been compensated by either Iran or Qatar for taking Israel to court leaves a very bad taste in our mouths! Not to mention the changing of a street name in Sandton to some terrorist who is only celebrated by those who value acts of terror.
When are we going to learn that siding with terror and hiding behind the mask of a cause so falsified by socialist and Marxist tendencies only brings us pain and division? The ANC couldn't care less about Palestinians, but for the sake of its relationship with Iran's terror axis, it will pretend to care for as long as it benefits the status quo.
There has always been a golden thread running through and connecting nefarious characters through Marxist, socialist, and communist values.
The ANC and Iran are no exception! It doesn't mean you have to blow up a building to be a terrorist, but if you are happy, as a government, to continually oppress and socially divide your citizens according to either a racist or Apartheid-driven agenda, in my opinion, you are a Dystopian, Draconian empire!
Be careful of those who accuse you of Apartheid crimes, for too often, the accuser poses as the accused, and the oppressor poses as the oppressed. Is this what we are seeing with the pro-Palestine mobs who reside in South Africa?
Do you feel any better displaying your red, black, white and green sticker on the back of your Fortuner, as you speed arrogantly passed several respectful road users?
I have news for all those who chant death to the Jews, and disguise it as 'Free Free Palestine'- your time is running out, and the chickens for Justice are coming home to roost! The recent strength shown by Trump and the IDF was a warning to Draconian Radicalised governments that we won't give up the fight against terror just yet!
I may not be a Jew, nor am I a Zionist, but I still know the difference between right and wrong...the difference between propaganda and facts.....the difference between truth and lies.
I refuse to accept this narrative of Israel committing a 'Genocide', as what we saw on October 7th, 2023, was a mini Genocide, funded by Iran and backed up by ANC support!
Enough is enough! Let's fix SA before we say anything further about 'Freeing Palestine"

Gaza aid point crush kills 20 people
A crush at an aid centre in southern Gaza killed at least 20 people on Wednesday, with the site's operator blaming "agitators" within the crowd and the Palestinian territory's civil defence agency attributing the panic to Israeli gunfire. It was the first time that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), backed by the United States and Israel, acknowledged deaths at one of its distribution sites after weeks of chaotic scenes and near-daily reports of Palestinians being killed nearby while waiting to collect rations. AFP footage showed lifeless bodies taken to a nearby hospital, in the city of Khan Yunis, with some placed on the floor and others on already-bloodied beds. Abdullah Alian, a witness, said that mayhem unfolded as the crowd of aid-seekers was hit with stun grenades and pepper spray. "When they saw people starting to die on the ground and people on top of each other suffocating, they opened the gate and people started climbing on top of each other." It was not clear whether he was referring to US contractors securing GHF sites, Israeli forces or another party. AFP | Jack GUEZ Paramedic Ziad Farhat said that after more than 21 months of devastating war, "there are not enough hospitals for the injured or the martyrs". "Enough of the tragedies that we are living." The latest deaths came as indirect negotiations between Israel and Palestinian group Hamas were ongoing, aiming to seal a deal for a 60-day ceasefire, the release of hostages held in Gaza and the unfettered flow of much-needed aid into the territory. Hamas has accused Israel of wanting to retain long-term military control of Gaza -- a key sticking point in the talks, which are now in their second week in Qatar. - 'Stampede' - The GHF said it understood that 19 of those killed on Wednesday "were trampled and one was stabbed amid a chaotic and dangerous surge". The organisation said the crush was "driven by agitators", adding: "We have credible reason to believe that elements within the crowd -- armed and affiliated with Hamas -- deliberately fomented the unrest". Gaza's civil defence agency said at least 20 people were killed in the incident, blaming it on fire from Israeli troops. AFP | Omar AL-QATTAA Agency spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP that thousands had gathered at the site when "Israeli forces opened fire and used (tear) gas, causing panic and a stampede after aid centre guards closed the main gates in front of the hungry crowd". The Israeli military did not respond to a request for comment. The GHF, an officially private effort, began operations on May 26 as Israel eased a two-month aid blockade that had sparked warnings of famine. On Tuesday, the UN said it had recorded 875 people killed in Gaza while trying to get food since late May, including 674 "in the vicinity of GHF sites". Last week, UN rights office spokeswoman Ravina Shamdasani told reporters that "most of the injuries are gunshot injuries". The GHF -- accused by aid organisations of catering to Israeli military needs -- has denied that fatal shootings have occurred in the immediate vicinity of its aid points, and the Israeli army has accused Hamas of firing at civilians, though witnesses have blamed the military. - 'No progress' - In the truce negotiations, Hamas is seeking a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and last week rejected an Israeli proposal that it said would have kept troops in more than 40 percent of the territory. Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported on Wednesday that work was ongoing to revise Israeli pullback maps, citing an unnamed foreign official. Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas's political leadership, told AFP that Israel "has not yet delivered any new or revised maps regarding military withdrawals". "What is happening on the ground confirms (Israel's) intentions and plans to maintain and prolong military control within the Gaza Strip for the long term," he said. Speaking in Gaza on Wednesday, Israel's army chief Eyal Zamir said that "in the coming days, we will know whether or not we have an agreement", according to a military statement. A Palestinian source close to the negotiations earlier told AFP there had been "no progress so far". If a deal is not reached, Israel will "intensify and expand combat operations as much as possible, beyond what we are currently doing", Zamir said. The war was sparked by Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which resulted in the deaths of 1,219 people, most of them civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official figures. Israel's retaliatory campaign in Gaza has killed 58,573 Palestinians, mostly civilians, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory. bur-acc/phz/ami

'We are making progress,' says Papo on ANC Gauteng's regional conferences
The ANC's Gauteng provincial task team (PTT) has announced that preparations are under way for the four regions expected to go to conference. PTT co-ordinator Hope Papo said they have made 'good progress,' in meeting the targets announced by party secretary-general Fikile Mbalula earlier this year on the guidelines to be met before a region being eligible for internal elections. The four regions, Greater Johannesburg, Greater Tshwane, Ekurhuleni and Sedibeng, are expected to hold conferences to elect new leadership this year. Papo said the regions reported making inroads on the political education front, saying the foundation course mandated for branches to undergo has been well received. 'More than 140 branches in both Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni have made significant strides in completing the five foundation course modules, reinforcing a culture of ideological work and political discipline. More work is continuing at branch level to implement the foundation course.' Hailing the course as a cornerstone of the party's long-standing renewal agenda, he added that the PTT has resolved to ensure that all outstanding branches conclude the modules as expected. Another standard set for eligibility is community outreach, which the party believes will help it reconnect with voters at the grassroots level. 'Through Letsema campaigns and other programmes, branches are reconnecting with communities, addressing local concerns, and rebuilding trust with the people,' he said. Papo conceded that the consolidation of recruitment remains a challenge, but said that their upper structures are looking to rectify the issue. 'Though there are still teething problems with the ANC online membership system, they are being attended to daily by the ANC national organising and membership department working directly with regions and branches. Efforts have been and are continuing to be made through the new ANC online membership system to ensure accuracy in branch membership information ahead of BBGMs and BGMs.' The conferences are scheduled to be held between July and August. However, Papo indicated that previously communicated conference road maps may be altered, indicating a possible change to some of the dates. 'Where necessary, RTTs should rework their conference road maps to ensure maximum participation of branches. We will also intensify support to RTTs to ensure unifying and credible conference processes. 'That will include working with branches and regions to gather all the facts to subject cases of disruption of a few BBGMs to disciplinary processes of the organisation. No one has a right to deny ANC members their right to meet and exercise their internal democratic processes.' These internal contests will be crucial for the party, as the regional leaders elected are will be spearheading Luthuli House's campaign to claw back electoral support during the upcoming local government elections. The PTT reported that they recognise the need to consolidate organisational readiness for the upcoming local polls. Papo revealed that the task team has established a provincial list committee in line with guidelines set by the party headquarters. 'A full-time provincial elections machinery is being established, supported by a structured campaign strategy focused on targeting areas of electoral decline, including suburbs and historically marginalised communities, strengthening by-election performance, party agent training, and deployment logistics and intensifying youth-focused campaigns through increased voter registration, ID drives and sectoral outreach.'
